The Joint called me back right away and said walk ins welcome and bonus was given a discount for first timers. Arrived at the office and filled out a lot of paper work. But once that was done, Dr L saw me straight away. He was so attentive and listened and cared. He got to work straight away. Once he was done I stood up feeling 1000% better. SCAM!!!!!!!! I decided to see a chiropractor because I was having lower back pains. They advertise.a promo of an initial visit of 29 dollars but that's a lie. Yea they charge you the initial visit 29 plus 89 for the first month. Not only that they have you sign a lot of paper and not goes over anything with you on it. The paper work seemed legit at first. It asked what areas you are having pain in then it turned in to signatures needed and that's when they get you. You sign up to be charged for 2 month automatically with no discussion of details of that. Plus they didn't give me any copy of my paper work back stating the commitment you just signed up for. So you leave genuinely not knowing you just signed up for a comment. Lastly, the chiropractors. Very friendly but they don't do ANYTHING BUY NORMAL BACK CRACKING. They have never worked on the areas of my body I stated I have pain or outside of stretching state things that can help. This place is a scam. It's a Carl jr of chiropractors. Don't go just go to your doctor and ask for physical therapy. It will help you so much more and it's actually converted by your insurance. read more

I have been on the monthly plan for 3 months now. The last month, the doctors are ALWAYS not on-site when I go there. I paid $80 now for last month that was wasted. Today, I was told that the doctor is not coming in on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Why didn't any other staff member mention that!? So, I said... Okay close my account and refund me for this month since I can only go those days! She said that I should go find which location in the area has a doctor on those days (The suggestion itself is bad enough, but to tell me that I should do it and not even tell me the closest location was incredible. ) The customer service has always not been great. Today was the icing on the cake. I paid $160 now for 2 months where I was supposed to call all over LA and then drive somewhere to use the service I signed up to use at YOUR LOCATION!? I get that COVID has impacted many things in the world. I don't understand why you can't communicate these changes proactively for your customers who are paying for these services. Close locations and consolidate your staff. Many options available to keep your clients happy. read more

I absolutely LOVE this place. I was a little apprehensive at first because I thought it would be too expensive but I needed relief in my lower back. I was trying everything, hot and cold therapy, yoga and stretching on a daily basis. It got to the point where I needed something more for my constant pain and sometimes Sciatica. I got on their wellness plan and couldn't believe how much relief an adjustment provided. Believe in Chiropractic services, this works so well for me. Plus, check in is easy, you don't need an appointment and they are so great and knowledgeable. After the first adjustment I felt great!! I needed to come often at first but then would not need it again for about 3 weeks. If you're in need of back pain relief consider the Joint. I tried a Chiropractor with my insurance and hated it. I just had my third treatment and words can't describe the relief and appreciation I have for Dr. Charles Lundin's professionalism, knowledge, and effectiveness. This man, is an "old school" Chiropractor who's got a world of life experience, anecdotes, and a great "feel" for how to put you back together and leaving the clinic with a bounce to your step. I cannot even begin to describe the frustration I have experienced with this clinic and their staff. I have a "rare" genetic disorder and have to make sure anyone I see has knowledge of this disorder. When they called me bc I submitted my info on facebook I was excited. I thought that meant they may have a provider with knowledge of my disorder. I asked the person that called me if they had a provider with knowledge of my disorder. This led to me playing what seemed like a game of who's on first with this person forever. Me: "Do you have a provider with knowledge and experience treating people with Ehler Danlos Syndrome?" Person: "Ma'am, we are NOT allowed to give medical advice!" They said in this in an extremely shicked, high pitched tone that made me visualize exactly how tight they were clutching those pearls.... After five minutes of me explaining I don't have a need for medical advice because I have an amazing care team at Cedars-Sinai. I just would love to add a knowledgeable chiro.... The person then proceeds to tell me "Even IF we decide to see you it wouldn't count as a wellness exam bc we would have to treat and cure you" I cannot even with this level of ‍ (I don't even know what to call it.....incompetence, maybe?) I don't need cured. I just would love someone that actually has knowledge with my disorder to be my chiro. Therefore, it would be a wellness exam Save yourself from what seems to be the chiro equivalent of ambulance chase lawyers. Bait and switch for sure. read more

From the first time the receptionist Karen Luna was there I noticed that she had a rude attitude with other patients and over all had an unprofessional demeanor. The doctors are all great , I don't have any complaints regarding them. The issue here was the receptionist and the fact that she didn't do her job. I went in to put a hold on my account (she pretty much forced me to and wouldn't give me the cancellation papers) and I come to find out that she never updated my account. I had to go in on my day off because she never answers the phone and cancel my membership with Susan which was very helpful and much more professional. Please train your lazy receptionist Karen better. I noticed I'm not the first patient to cancel because of Karen and her unprofessional and unorganized manner. Tip: I'd stay off my phone and computer watching videos not related to work while on the clock ladies! read more

I've been a happy client for about 2 years. I have the utmost respect for the Dr's and staff. My complaint is with the policy and billing practices. I paid for the whole year. About $700 because they give you 2 months free if you pay this way. After the second year, I decided to not renew my contract with them because I wasn't going as much as I thought. In March I noticed a $69.00 charge from the joint on my bank statement. By the time I got around to visiting the office, I was billed for February and March. The young lady informed me that it automatically bills monthly unless I sign a paper stopping the billing. Although she was trying to be professional and polite , saying it was in the contract I signed over and over again did not sit well with an already frustrated and ex customer. Make sure you read and understand before you sign any papers from them and risk losing hundreds of dollars because retaining customers is not as important as retaining their customers money. My 18 year old grandson was having difficulty with some of the terminology on the medical questionnaire and sought help from the reception person. "Lundin" abruptly interrupted and began interrogating him about his English reading & comprehension skills and proceeded to lecture my grandson on California State requirements. Never had anything but exceptional service from these guys. They're not too busy most of the time, and they have extremely polite and inviting front desk associates. Their office and lobby are neat and clean, the exam rooms are about what you'd expect, and the doctors are very knowledgeable and consistent. My visits are kept short, sweet, and simple. I started coming here with back pain so severe I couldn't stand or sit without assistance. My next step was going to be getting an epidural for my pain. I'm Only 26 and could barely walk. My low rating is due to the front desk associate, Karen. She treated me with very poor customer service, and after years of membership, I decided to cancel. I was that disappointed by her treatment. Management needs to get employees with better customer service skills or teach them! After a wait time of almost an hour Dr Lewis takes me to the back after I told him that I do not want to discuss any personal information in the front! Very unethical, and a HIPPA violation!! So as he proceeds to ask me 100 questions with no adjustments. I asked him vto look at my history as I've been a member for years, and he rudely said it didn't matter he needs to know my current updated situation? I repeatedly let him know nothings changed! I've been skeptical on coming to a chiropractor after ten years of not receiving chiropractic care just because I didn't know who to look for or who to trust. Lately I've been having the worst back and neck pain. I had enough today and finally called the joint. Dr.Lewis answered the phone and gave me so much information and was super helpful. He told me to come in, I did. I then went to another place he recommended for an X-ray just bc of my prior accident history. Dr.lewis went over everything with me that was on my X-ray. I was finally able to see why I've been in so much pain all these years. After he informed me of everything , i was adjusted. I've never felt so much relief in the course or 5 minutes. I cussed and cried a little because I couldn't believe how long I waited to come here and it felt sooo good. I got the 6 visit package so I get to come here for another week. Everyday if i wanted too. A huge thank you to both doctor and Parker. Thank you guys for being super informative and helpful. Best customer service I've received anywhere to be honest. One thing I wanted to add, I'm super big on when it comes to cleanliness. The office is super clean and they do a temperature check to make sure nobody is walking in there with a fever. I love that. I went there on 3-1-19 after receiving a text that it is opening up this weekend. I talked to a very nice young man at the front desk. He was extremely helpful and provided me with paperwork to complete so that when I came in for my free exam over the weekend, I could get processed faster. The young man was extremely helpful and courteous! I returned on Saturday, 3-2-19 for my free exam. The place was busy and everyone was friendly and nice. Since I had all my paperwork completed, I was called into the large back room within 5 minutes. I was very pleased to get in quickly. However, the 59 year old male that called me in and took me into the large open back room that had 3 chiro beds and other patients, yells out that he too was born in 19**, the same year as me and that he will be the same age as me. I was surprised that he would be discussing my date of birth and age in front of other patients waiting and who were being treated. He never introduced himself so I can only assumed he would have been the medical doctor(?) that would have provided the adjustment on me. Nonetheless, as we sat in this large open room with other patients sitting close by, he started asking me all of my medical info. I responded quietly but his voice was loud so that others could hear. I told him that I believe it was a HIPAA violation to discuss my private medical history in front of other patients and people who were just siting in the large open room. I asked him if there was a private room to obtain my medical history. He said no. I was really looking forward to coming to this location since it is closer than my current chiropractic doctor but due to lack of privacy at this location, I won't be going back.
