We came to this restaurant to celebrate a family member's milestone birthday. The lunch menu gives a 2-course and 3-course combination of starters, mains, and desserts with ample choices. We, a party of 13, ordered and sampled varieties of dishes from the lunch menu. For starters: we chose Pate della Casa, Oriental Tempura King Prawns, Seafood Salad, Mussels Provencal; mains: Duck Leg, Spicy Pork, Slow Roasted Pork, Braised Beef, Spaghetti alla Bolognese, Fettuccine al Salmone, Fusilli Amatriciana, and Lasagna. All dishes were mostly well prepared with good presentation. In addition, we ordered garlic bread, garlic bread Mexicano, and garlic bread & cheese. To top it off, we had Mixed Berry Meringue Nest and Vanilla ice cream as dessert. The staff was very professional, attentive, efficient, and genuinely polite. I was invited here for a birthday celebration meal with my other half's family. I was a little bit nervous as I was told it was quite posh and I'm not really used to posh. Turns out it's really not super fancy, but the other clientele were quite smartly dressed, and it seemed that there were quite a few groups of young women dressed up to the nines, so I was glad I'd made a wee bit of an effort. It seems to be a very popular place for family celebrations as well as couples. Italian food is always problematic for me, as being vegan and gluten free tends to rule out everything on the menu. However we phoned ahead and were assured they would make something for me. I had a lovely starter from the menu of roasted veg - peppers, asparagus, aubergine, courgette, served with a side salad and some lovely pickles. Main course was a specially made dish of gluten free pasta with tomato sauce and veg - not terribly creative or exciting - but what I would expect from an Italian restaurant, and I'm glad I was able to get something, and it was tasty. We were in a fairly large group of 11, and staff did well with the timing of the dishes coming out so that we could eat together. There weren't any mistakes with the meals, but a couple of the group were a bit disappointed in their meals - over cooked steak and chewy lobster. It was also very noisy where our table was, at the end of the ground floor as it was next to a mirrored wall and the floor was tiled, so it was difficult hearing anyone who wasn't right next to you, and a couple of the older members of the group really struggled because of the background noise. Staff were pleasant and even joined in with the Happy Birthday rendition as the birthday cake was brought out, which was a nice touch. They let us bring in our own cake too, so that was good of them. Right, my family went for a meal before my cousin had brain surgery to remove a tumour, the night went well until we were called thieves for my drunken self trying to Nick a gin glass. we were having fun and being silly but this really got out of hand and I am appalled how hostile the staff became! They treated an honest young mistake as a serious one and made the whole party feel like criminals with the entire management system surrounding us, as they rudely ostracised my entire family. They failed to think of the consequences that could incur from such an over reaction in relation to such a trivial matter. By the way the bill was £420 which had been paid in full. We were told to leave with the management chorus calling us "thieves thieves". We asked for the tip back which was thrown across the till to my uncle. Eat here at your own risk. I love this place, it's definately my favourite Italian restaurant in the Preston area, the only problem is that it's a little bit out of the way and costs me a fair bit of money for a taxi to get to and from home. The staff are well dressed, the service is very good, the food is great, very good standard and you do get value for money for what you pay, I've been there several times and I'll have no hesitation in coming back, if there's a night out planned! read more

This place is lovely and I highly recommend it. The service is good and the food great. The prices are reasonable and there's a good selection of all three courses. A good place to go if you want a memorable evening :) I had a chicken pasta dish when I went, and others tried the pizza and a salmon dish. All were really well cooked and very tasty. I visited this place last night with my gf after hearing some good reviews. Initial impressions were good, the venue is in a nice location and is well appointed inside. The food was good, we had garlic bread to start and I had veal ravioli, one of the specials, for main. This was tasty, although the portion size was a tad small, even for such a rich dish. What spoiled the experience for me was over attentive waiters (we had barely finished eating before the plates were whisked away) and rude bar staff (asking for drinks before your meal to be put on your bill isn't an unreasonable request). I have visited this restaurant several times before with groups of friends for special occasions, and I love it. The atmosphere is great, the food is served quickly and the quality was good. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone, despite the negative reviews I have read. read more

This is a factory. Owner has a beautiful Ferrari so the concept is good, however as a customer it's more of a trap. Food is average, fast service, no love. Be aware of the servers selling you all the sides. As a customer I'm not impressed, as a person who loves doing business, just jealous about the concept! read more
