An absolutely stunning inn, in the heart of this lovely little town. It is like an Airbnb, they send you a code for the main entrance and the room. Beautiful space. The breakfast is super yummy! The staff was friendly and accommodating. The only negative is the train comes through during the night so if you are a light sleeper. All Aboard!!

Clean, modern and well kept boutique hotel in the heart of Brookhaven. I have stayed here 5x now and I am never disappointed! This is the ONLY hotel I will stay at in Brookhaven. Fresh, clean modern rooms, very cool modern layout and design, amazing breakfast, fresh baked cakes and snacks from next door, and an amazing drink selection for guests! All included! Within walking distance of all the great restaurants in town! The ONLY minus is the train that comes through the middle of town at all hours of the night but that is not the hotels fault. Ed (manager) is wonderful to work with. Responsive and kind! If you are coming here for a work or a visit you need to stay here!

This gem is such delightful and spacious place to stay. What makes it really special and unique is that it is family owned and operated with such a great vision. Everything is so personalized and they even have a book in the lobby about the design and history of the building down to the detail. Lots of love and care goes into this treasure and I look forward to staying there again in the future.

We came across this beautiful inn when we had our RV being worked on. Sallie the host was so nice beautifully laid out cutest little town. Great breakfast in the morning. We could not of found a better place! Thank you for a wonderful visit Sallie.

In town for business. This was the cutest little Inn. Very clean and great hospitality! The kitchen is stocked with snacks and drinks which are free and available all hours of the night, even breakfast in the morning was great. The only thing to be aware of if you're a light sleeper is the train tracks are right across the street. But it didn't bother me and the train doesn't come by super often.

This was on the nightstand when I arrived. I just love this.

This is the cutest little place! I decided to stay here based on reviews I read. So glad I did! The Inn Keeper called on the day I was set to arrive b/c I was arriving late. So nice; she explained everything so that I had no issues when I got there. The room was perfect! Modern touches with a "staying at mom's/grandma's" home-like feel. I will definitely be back! You have to check this out if you're through this area.

My family and I have been coming down to Brookhaven since the 1960s to visit family who live a few miles away. Many moons ago we were all excited when Brookhaven got its first restaurant--a McDonald's. :-)) My how times have changed with the arrival of The Inn on Whitworth! Stepping into the Inn, with its marvelous architecture, art and design, you think you are in NYC's Soho. Then, you are welcomed by Sallie, the most warm, gracious and down-to-earth innkeeper, and you feel immediately at home. My sisters, a brother-in-law and I stayed for three nights just a couple weeks ago in rooms 3 and 6. Both were clean and well-appointed and each room even a little sitting area with a couch, coffee table and desk. Free and excellent WiFi! When we were not visiting with them, family members dropped by to sit in the lobby and visit with us and everyone felt extremely comfortable and relaxed. Did I mention breakfast? All sorts of fresh fruit, strong coffee, wide selection of teas, cereal (organic, gluten-free plus a nice selection of "standards"), pastries, breads, yogurt, juices, etc. All delicious. If you wanted something with an egg or breakfast meat, you could pop just next door to Janie's Pastry Shop, order your breakfast sandwich and charge it to the Inn. At night, you could sit in the lobby/kitchen/breakfast area and enjoy a slice of whatever type of cake was available. The other guests we met during our stay--from all over the country--were lovely to speak with. I can't recommend the Inn on Whitworth and the wonderful Sallie highly enough.

This hotel was decent looking from the outside, but not worth the price.

After a while, it seemed as if the problem was not going to be resolved. The whole point of having rooms put under one name was to make it convenient for everyone. Since our names were not found, I thought we may have to find another place to stay. Finally, the representative found us a room. It seem to have been a problem for most of group locating names on the reservation listing. The room looked very nice and comfortable just by view. The real surprise came when we decided to rest for a while in bed. It was the worse mattress experience. Talking about looks and a surprise of discomfort. The pillows appeared to be comfortable but they were not at all. They only looked like they were comfortable. The pillows went flat just by laying on them. The mattress was like sleeping on the floor. This was the worst mattress. The toilet stool was extremely loose and too close to the floor. This was the worst sleeping experience we have encountered in a very long time. We could not sleep for tossing and turning. We were not able to sleep good or rest at all in bed for the 2 days we stayed. The only time we were able to get a good night sleep is when we arrived home. We went straight to bed right after we walked through the door even though it was a beautiful day and a holiday at that. We were just too tired to go any further thanks to the very uncomfortable bed and pillows a lack of sleep.

The bread that was out for breakfast somehow turned into cardboard once it was out of the toaster. The drain in the tub I'm assuming was clogged, as the water took forever to drain. Not until they start making an effort to make it better.

She said she had zero cares and that we needed to get out. I was ready to pay for another night to be able to stay longer and she raised her voice and started to talk down to me. We have been a zero issue quest, infact we are leaving the place better than when we checked into the room. We made sure to change out the dead light bulbs. Bring your own pillows as these here are yellow and who knows how old. The blanket was covered in cigarette burns in a non smoking room. The ungodly noise from the trucks that come and go to the Chinese restaurant in the parking lot. These owners forget that without customers they won't have a motel and even calling it that is generous. I would have stayed another 3 nights if I would have been treated like a human being. I have plenty of money. But being woke up and then disrespected and yelled at by the owner, with no just cause, is not something I will accept. I strongly urge you to reconsider if you are thinking about staying here.

The morning of check-in, a lady from the hotel called and said they didn't have a room that I requested. I said okay. She said I'll get a room with a king bed. The app showed my total as 150 something. That included the tax and other fees. When I checked in, it jumped to the price I was going to pay for the kitchenette. I couldn't go into the lobby. I had to ring a bell and speak to the lady through a tiny window. I asked for a room up front and got a room up front. I had to ask for a second key card for the other person staying with me. As soon as I walked into the room, I regretted stopping there. The person who cleaned it used a dirty rag to wipe things off. They even used the dirty rag to attempt to clean off the t.v. My mom did a better job cleaning with a clean rag and water. There were stains all over the walls. There were 3 pillows, and one of the white casses was yellow. The parking lot had litter all over. I know people will litter, but an employee could pick up. I saw 2 people who were staying at the hotel sweeping their own rooms. The last Motel 6 we stayed in housekeeping made up our bed and took the dirty towels and things like that and gave us fresh towels. Not at this hotel. Before my mom got out of the tub, she noticed the towel on the floor was soaking wet. She didn't use the shower. She figured out the next morning, the water was coming up between the flooring. There's a leak under the floor. I could step on the floor, and it sounded like a wet sponge. After cleaning up the wet floor, we weren't going to use those towels. My mom went and got fresh towels, washcloths, and hand towels. I know there's smoking rooms, so the smoke smell would seep into our room. We had to slam our door to get it to shut. The faucet in the tub was about to come off. When I would turn the water on, it came out of the faucet and the shower head. The shower wasn't turned on. There wasn't a washer to use on the first floor. There was a broken dryer on the first floor. The only vending machine on the first floor was a Coke machine. Only 1 of the lights next to the bed worked. I think there was supposed to be a row of lights behind the headboard, but the only light that came on was all the way to the left.

I base this on the number of motels I've stayed in throughout the US. There's been 10-20 cars here on both occasions, so I guess it's acceptable to them as well. The rooms are quaint and the paint is, quite frankly, ugly. The first room last week had pink paint. This time the paint is pale yellow and greenish blue (maybe a pale teal). It's not really clean, but I'm not so disgusted that I opted for somewhere else. (Mainly there are brown spots on the tub and sink.) The sheets are clean. The bed is worn and saggy (no bugs). I slept well, but woke up with a sore back. (Could also be from my job.) The shower could be better, but works well enough. Wish the shower head was a little higher. I'm 5'11" and it comes up to my face. The towels are cheap. They do not supply shampoo, so bring your own! The TV is old and about 19" (varied by room). NO INTERNET. Overall, it's very basic and outdated. Some good things: you do get a microwave and fridge. The air/heat is digital, so you can set your desired temperature. It's also fairly quiet and works well. You can park right outside your door (though I prefer hotels). It's quiet. The carpet is in good condition. In all, I did return for another night. It's a no frills place to rest for the night at a low price. I would have given this place 3 stars if the bed were more comfortable.

It's an old roadside motel that is some curious hold out to the strip mall hell that surrounds it. The room, which is an amazingly well preserved specimen of the late 70s or early 80s, is clean though a little on the small side and has a refrigerator and microwave. The motel is located about 1/4 mile east of I-55. It's one story with the room entrance facing the parking lot, so you can park right outside of your room making it easy to move your stuff in and out. You won't find this place on the travel sites like Orbitz or Travelocity, so call them at (601) 833-9256 if you want to book a room. The rate for my one night was $39. I gave one star for cleanliness, one for being economical, and one for location.
