Per hotel staff the hotel opened in 2019 so really new. The furniture in the lobby and room is modern. They have a restaurant in the hotel also. We checked in at 12 and our room of choice on our floor of choice was available. Check in was quick and easy. I also was able to use my Hilton app for the digital key which was helpful b/c we left the key in the room on accident as soon as we walked out. 6th floor hallway was very airy and fresh. The King Room w/ Sofa bed was very spacious. Large bathroom with walk in shower, no tub! Just how we like it. Long vanity in the bathroom and wide mirror. Also full length mirror in the room. Our room looked out to some type of mill and one of the rivers but at night it looked like a view of a city with all the pretty lights but it really was just the factory. Bed was comfortable to Hilton standards and there was more than enough outlets and USB ports available for our electronics. Only con was that housekeeping must have forgotten to grab the trash as there were used q-tips in the bathroom bin. All and all I would definitely stay here again if need be!

Our original booking was for 4 adults in a 2 queen bed room with a roll in shower. I double checked our booking the night before and saw that it was changed to a 1 King bed room with extra floor space. We never were contacted about a switch. I contacted customer service and Ben was great. He looked up and saw our original reservation and saw where it was switched to the king room with no notes on why. He contacted upper management for us and got the room switched back to a 2 queen bed room. It was not the original roll in shower but thank goodness that was not a necessity. We checked in about 7 pm the night of April 9th. Upon walking up to the desk, the lady mumbled something and I thought she said name. I told her we were checking in and told her our last name. She proceeded to roll her eyes and said "no, hold on one minute" as she continued to scroll on her personal cell phone for about 30 more seconds. She then checked us in and acted like we were inconveniencing her. We went up to our room and noticed that the hotel elevators and halls had a musty smell and were very unkempt. The elevator floor was soft and the tiles were peeling up. It did not feel safe and kept up. When we got to our room we noticed the same musty smell. It was dusty and the floors were also not clean. The microwave looked like it had never been cleaned. We had to wipe off and clean the Keurig machine before we even used it. The dust was thick on top. We had a few ants in the room. The front of the fridge looked like it had never been wiped down. The shower in the bathroom had pink mold growing in the corners. The mirrors still had splatters on them. Surprisingly the toilet was very clean. The toilet paper holder was loose and the bathroom door would not shut all the way. Our bathroom only had 3 sets of towels for 4 people so we had to go to the front desk to ask for more. It was the same lady that checked us in. She rolled her eyes at us again and acted like we were a huge inconvenience. The next day, April 10th, when we got back to the hotel after being gone all day we noticed that our room had not been touched at all. We went down to the front desk and this time it was a different lady. We told her that our room hadn't been serviced at all that day. She checked the notes and the cleaning lady said that we had the "do not disturb" sign up at 9:30 am and 1:30pm. We did have the sign up at 9:30 am because we were still there but we left at 10:30 am and took the sign off the door so we could make sure it got cleaned. The lady at the counter was apologetic and said she would make a note to make sure our room was serviced the next day. She gave us a set of 4 clean towels, trash bags, toilet paper and tissues just so we could make it through the night. The next morning we were still getting ready when the cleaning lady came to the door. I told her we would be about 30 more minutes and we would be out for her to clean. She told me that she might make it back, she might not because she had other things she needed to do. I told her that we were not serviced the day before and that we needed to be serviced today. Another cleaning lady overheard our conversation and told her that it was on her list and that she needed to get it done because it was her job. As we were leaving we saw the second cleaning lady and she said that she had just got done with her last room so she was going to go ahead and get our room clean so she can make sure it gets done. Our whole stay here we never had any of our coffee bar items replaced. They never emptied our ice bucket or left a new bag for it. The walls were very thin and you could hear talking, doors slamming, tv's playing, water running, toilets flushing. The manager of the hotel was holding business in the middle of the lobby every morning. The workers all stood around and acted like we were in the way as we were trying to leave. One was even laying out on the couch of the lobby playing on his phone as they were conducting business and talking about schedules. The one person to ever say good morning or greet us was the lady setting out breakfast on our very last day. We have stayed at many hotels over the years and many Holiday Inn properties. By far this was the worst hotel stay experience and we would recommend never to stay at this hotel.

This was going to benefit me as I had things to do on this side of the city and would cut out the need to get up early the next day. I'm going to say that I just did a quick search beforehand and found what was cheap, but of a trusted chain that I am used to. That is basically how I ended up here. I may have said that I did this because of work, but it also allowed for me to complete some school work in solitude. When I got here I was lost for a bit and confused. See, this location is within the mall zone of Beaver Valley. You can clearly see it from the road but once you get into the area you can get turned around. The hotel itself is tucked away from the main area where you would find businesses. I'm not exaggerating when I say that the road that leads to this hotel makes you feel like you are about to be the victim in a horror movie. The lot next to it is abandoned and overgrown. The lot next to that is abandoned. On the other side you have a fenced in property and you are literally tucked behind two fast food restaurants, which isn't all that bad as you can then get something to eat and take it back to the room with you. Once you do make it to the lot and your way inside, you feel much safer. Upon entry you are funneled to the front desk. It took a minute to be greeted and registered. In fact I wasn't sure I was being helped by a hotel employee at first as they did not have on a uniform or nametag. After check in I made my way to the elevators which were, as I presumed, was the back of the building. Not too bad, but when I got to my floor, my room was all the way at the other end of the building. Not sure why the building was set up like this, but it is not all that great for elevator use, I ended up using the stairs at one point since my room was closer to what is considered the front of the building as it was less time to exit the building. When I got to the room I was initially impressed. Decent size, tons of amenities like fridge/microwave, seating area, desk area, and of the such. However, after I did get settled in I started to notice that the room was in need of some love. With that, I did not use the seating area for anything other than to place items. The couch looked sketchy and the table you could tell that people had their feet/shoes all over it. Paint was chipped and there were nicks all over it. The bed felt a bit lumpy, but I was only there for one night. The bathroom was decent, but also in need of an update. Although there were some pros with amenities here, the look and upkeep of the room overshadowed it all. I felt like I was spending the night at a grandparent's house. Once I finally got what I needed, food and what not, and returned to my room, I didn't leave it for the night. I did succeed in what I set out for myself to do here. I got my school work done and didn't have to travel to far the next day. Check out was a bit confusing. I honestly never know how this goes as each establishment has a differing way of doing so. Once I was checked out, I was gone.

I could not stay in there. The room provided a large jetted tub and a couch that would not pull out. We went back down to the front desk and asked for a different room because of the smell and because we had our daughter with us who was too tall to sleep on the couch. So after 20 minutes we were able to get the room we reserved originally. Pillows were half pillows. We asked if we could get more and were told by front desk that we had enough. The Hallway carpets were stained. There is one washer and one dryer on the property located on the main floor that requires quarters. We went to the Front desk to ask if we could get change for the laundry facility and were told by the night shift they didn't have quarters however miraculously the morning shift had quarters. Breakfast consisted of pre heated eggs, round sausage patties, white gravy, waffle mix, a few options for cereal, 2% milk, cold biscuits, pre packaged muffins, 2 options for bagels (neither were plain). The eggs and sausage were edible if you smother it in tasteless gravy. Customer service is lacking at this hotel and I would prefer not to stay here again.

We got to our room and it was filthy. Crumbs and stuff in the air conditioner, stains on the couch, grease marks on the desk, drinks in the fridge, and the pillows were yellow. It was disgusting. There was also dirt marks on the sheets, like someone got into the bed after rolling in the mud. When we called down to the front desk to see if we could have our rooms changed, and the "manager" came down to "inspect" the complaints after saying I was lying over the phone. When she got to my room, she, more or less, told me to get over it. She said that she'd have housekeeping change the sheets, but the yellow pillows were fine, and the filthy couch and air conditioner were fine. I refused to use those pillows, and I still can't believe that she said it was normal to have yellow pillows. I would never suggest this hotel to anyone, between the terrible customer service and nasty rooms, I think this place should be shut down. You're better off going to Home2 suites not far down the road.

They have a discount through the plant I'm working at that lowers their night down to $70 a night, which is more than i want to spend but on the cheaper end of realistic options, and only a few minute drive to the site. Also, nearby the hotel there is a Walmart, a mall, several restaurants, a drugstore, bank, etc so having all of those things nearby is really convenient. My room is a pretty good size, and what really sold me on staying here is the kitchen area right inside the room. I'm on the road for work, trying to make some money, i want to try and cook my own meals as opposed to getting take out every day. There's a microwave and stovetop in the kitchen for cooking, as well as a toaster and a coffee pot. The cupboards have limited amounts of plates, bowls, silverware, cups as well as cookware. The staff for the most part is incredibly friendly and accommodating, they clean the room for you on a weekly basis, and what i really appreciated was them making the bed for me the way i had it set up, with my own blankets etc from home. I also really appreciate the little snack shack area downstairs that had certain food items and toiletry items for purchase. I wish they had certain other items in there (i really needed a loaf of bread!) but it is a great concept and nice for a quick snack if needed or desired. Overall I'd recommend to anyone staying in the area, especially those staying somewhat long term. Bonus! They are pet friendly for those traveling with their furry family members :)
