We happened to be in the area and stopped in here for lunch today. The place was pretty quiet so we were sat immediately. Our server was pleasant and attentive. We opted for Delhi Butter Chicken, Aloo Gobi, Kesari Pulao, Raita, Naan and a Chai. The food, although pricy, was good. I will say though, the Aloo Gobi was one of the best I've ever had. Lunch ended up being around $70 so, like I said, it was pricy. It might be better as a dinner option than a lunch. read more

Stopped in for lunch on our way back from a cottage weekend. Their crispy cauliflower bites in Hakka sauce were really nice. Nice blend of spicy that made it flavourful but not overly spicy. This was wayyyy to expensive an experience. I will give them credit where the ingredients are. They didn't cut corners. But with an ethnic section in every grocery store, and videos on YouTube, you can stay home and make this in the same time for one fifth of the price. You have to pay for rice? I've never personally been here but got my order home delivered. We've been hearing about this place from a long time now and we were also craving for some delicious Indian Cuisine. Thus got ourselves delivered large orders of Butter Chicken, Tawa Paneer and Chicken Tikka masala along with Butter Naan. The naan was soft and covered in generous amount of butter. With the appearance and aroma we couldn't wait but dig in. I tried butter chicken first, big chuncks of boneless chicken packed in a gravy made of perfectly blended Indian spices. The chicken was tender, and went perfectly well with the soft and buttery naans. Moving on to the Chicken Tikka masala, had less gravy but packed with onions and bell peppers. Overall tasting great. Lastly the paneer was something I would go back to this place for. Moist chuncks of paneer cooked in beautifully aromatic yellow indian gravy tasted great and went well with the Butter naan. Overall my experience has been good but I somewhere felt it is a little on the pricey side. Althought they offer a menu catering fresh veggies and meats, it's still a hole in the pocked for students. read more

Got some takeout on Monday night and it was fairly busy for a Monday. Everything absolutely tasted amazing. the flavors were on point and they even spice it up if you ask them to. The place is very well maintained and clean. The portion sizes were amazing and the menu is very authentic unlike other places. He was able to offer suggestions and information on menu items. We were never wondering where he went, even though they were quite busy as the evening went on. Amazing restaurant interior looks very nice and clean very friendly manager and the staff is very nice and friendly too. BUT honestly the food is not good at all. We ordered chicken biryani and a appetizer plate and Delhi butter chicken and plain naan. First of all I have to say it totally overpriced. I got shocked when I saw the portion size vs the price. Ok let's start with the appetizer I loved loved the green chutney it was very nice. On the appetizer plate we had some potatoe patties and then veggie pakora and samosa. The potato patty looked burn and tasted even burned. Then we had the pakora and oh man this was a joke something burned with veggies. Then we had the samosas to much salty. This plate is definitely not worth the price. Then we had the chicken biryani. The chicken dry no flavor same as the rice dry and didn't taste like biryani at all!! Then we had the butter chicken which was kind of good but to much tomato taste... With that we ordered the naan and I was so disappointed thin and burned!!! Very well decorated, and the service was fast and friendly. Although, main complaint was that my chai tea was only half full and lukewarm. At the prices they charge I was looking forward to a full cup of hot chai. Also the ladies bathroom was all out of toilet paper and I was forced to use paper towel. read more

Finally a real good authentic Indian food experience in Peterborough. They create all their curries from scratch with spices, super fragrant . Lamb vindaloo was excellent. Onion bahji was very good also. The chicken korma is a little weak though, kind of just a cream sauce . Staff were very friendly . We will be returning next time through. read more

Ordered Tikka Masala and Alo Gobi with my partner. Both dishes were a bit off. Very, very different than any Tikka Masala and Alo Bobi I've ever had elsewhere. We were not very impressed, and definitely didn't feel the dishes were worth the price. We notified the server of this, he was very apologetic and didn't charge us for one of the plates. Let me start this off by saying that this review is from their takeout, I have not sat down and eaten at the restaurant rather just ate the food served there. The food portioning isn't bad, its a good price for the quantity. The food itself thought was okay, it wasn't anything special. I felt like it was somehow missing something, possibly spice.
