I have chronic neck and back pain so my doctor recommended monthly deep-tissue massages to help ease the pain. I found Deborah though my neighborhood association's website. Her office is in Oakhurst, walking distance to me! I decided to give her a call. I cannot tell you how happy I am to have found her. She is amazing. So far, she is the only person who has been able to find the exact spot in my back that pains me on a daily basis. She knows how to release the pain and always uses the right amount of pressure (I like it really deep!). Deborah seriously knows her stuff. Also, because she is a one-woman show, she gets to know you on a personal level and remembers your issues. I've been to places where I feel like just another random client. It took some time for me to actually book my appointment with Rite Touch. Booking was easy though. I simply went to their website and selected the service and the massage therapist. Their availability was a few weeks out and I was also trying to book the appointment between the time I took lunch at work. My appointment was a month out due to those factors. Getting to the business was not very difficult. However, I will warn that their name is not on the marquee for the plaza and their located on the second level so it was a little difficult to spot them at first. When I went inside it was very warm and welcoming. After a couple minutes the massage therapist greeted me but he did not tell me his name. Prior to starting my massage he asked if I had any problem areas and warned that he is heavy handed and to let him know if he needs to adjust the pressure. Overall, it was a nice massage. Starting a year in advance of surgery, I asked her to see me weekly to retrain both of my legs muscles in preparation for my new hip joint. I felt that my 'deformed' walking due to the damaged and painful hip joint should be ready for a new experience after surgery. I heard that I would be instructed to walk only a couple of hours after surgery. My friend, Beth, said that when I walked for the first time across the hospital floor my posture was perfect. My back was straight for the first time in years. And I was completely pain-free! I will again prepare my leg muscles for my other hip replacement! The lady started promptly and throughout I was confused about the methodology as this message is very different than one received at a spa. At one point - the lady got on the table with me. I got a sample of hot stones and hot oils - light pressure, deep pressure. Overall, when she finished the tension was gone and I was at ease. Although simplistic in presentation, I had no concerns about cleanliness. Everyone was respectable. Good place for same day availability!
