I had a Lychee Martini which was probably the only great tasting thing there. I then had the ceviche which was good. It was served with plantain chips and tortilla chips. Tuna was fresh and it had a nice little kick to it. The entree I ordered was underwhelming for $44; sea bass with brussel sprouts. The bass had barely any glaze/taste to it and the sprouts were hard. The only great tasting item was the mashed potato's. The restaurant was also very empty. It was a Wednesday night at 7pm. So I'm not sure if other menu items are worth it and taste better but I don't get the hype.

The gentleman behind the counter was super chill, was attentive without crowding, and was very informative about stuff they were out of (we went in around midnight), so of course they'd be out of certain menu items by then. It's a pretty small restaurant, mostly counter seating and a small enclave with a large table. Overall, 10/10 will go back whenever we're in the area!

That's the last time I will go to Deem. Plenty of other late night options. It's a shame.

I had no idea when Joy and I were visiting the museum that this restaurant was even here. But, I'm glad we found it, becsuse it was amazing. The food was so fresh and well prepared. I had the Buffalo Cheeseburger with fries. Well seasoned. The fries were a little over salted, but had a winderful taste and crunch to the. I would have liked the burger to be medium to medium rare, but I wasn't asked how I wanted it cooked. Joy gad the Smoked Turkey Stuffed Acorn Squash which she said tasted really good. Not overly smoked and seasoned well. Our waitress was great. She had an easy job as we were the only ones there. But she was very informative about the ingredients and kept our glasses filled. The restaurant was very clean and quiet. Outside was an agricultural display showing plants of Native Americans. I would definitely go back and try dinner there. I also assume that the menu could change based on availability of ingredients. Might be fun to go back in the Winter and Spring to see what might change.

My husband also had the venison chili- very rich and enjoyable. My mother in law had the strawberry salad and loved it as well as the fry bread. The garden outside is also lovely with lots of herbs and native plants. Great discovery and tasty indigenous dishes. Highly recommend!

And then we had to wait for our server to finally greet us. He was friendly enough but whispered the entire time, so we couldn't quite hear him over the music and had to keep asking him to repeat things. Not sure if he lost his voice or something. The mocktail drinks were decent so we had high expectations. But the appetizer Tiradito de Tuna was so disappointing with the quality of tuna. The sauce was citrusy and okay and they added bits of carrots and flower pedals like that would make up for the quality. The Lomo Saltado and the Churrasco were just okay too. I feel like other hispanic/latin places have the same dishes that are way better. It's like you're paying for the downtown nice location more than for the food. The Churros were good, but not any more special than any other Churros elsewhere. Not sure I would go back, just based on price for the food.

The brisket papas is so many levels of flavor at once. The smoked meat is surprisingly better than some I've had a local barbecue joints. The queso is not spicy at all and the way it's all layered together with the tater tots makes it mesh into this incredible flavor bomb.
