Came into the railyard and the music was questionable so who ever is in Charge of it should maybe consider looking into that. This place has such a sour vibe. I've been to multiple restaurants here in the last 2 years and the employees and customers are consistently unfriendly and ... frankly ... mean. The food is typical Oklahoman: unflavored, oversalted, and overpriced. There are always cops patrolling the parking lot snapping pictures of license plates. The customers just stare at you. If you try to make small talk with them, they fully ignore you. Even though they were staring at you just seconds ago. The employees get your order wrong about 20% of the time so be sure to check. I've had oysters from the seafood place that still had the oyster's feces in them (just like shrimp have to be cleaned, so do oysters). Every time I get coffee from the coffee shop I have to watch them prepare it otherwise I end up returning it because it tastes funny. They have a "moon" milk they use for lattes that you can buy. I bought a pint of it one time. The next day it had curdled and gone bad. I ordered a slice of lemon meringue pie from the dessert shop. I watched the woman slicing pies drop her knife on the floor then get ready to continue slicing without washing the knife. Luckily there was another employee staring at me as I was watching this who saw this unhygienic move and stopped the woman and cut my pie with a clean knife. I got home and couldn't eat the pie anyway. The crust had no taste and was super soggy. Gross. Neither pizza place knows what they are doing. It's just not a professional and welcoming place. Cool place with several places to eat. There is outdoors seating. We ate at Hot Wings food was good. It had a dive bar feel. Wouldn't recommend inside seating for families with kids. Wings were well seasoned sold by the pound which is about 10 wings. The salad was giant. Service is a tad slow as the staff seems to know everyone since most act like regulars. The Edmond Railyard is Edmond's newest gathering space. It's a chic-industrial food hall hosting a collection of small eatery spaces. It reminds me of the "food court" of yesteryear, minus the traditional shopping mall, and with plenty of colorful graffiti style wall art for memorable selfie experiences. Each space's front door is accessible once you walk inside the recently renovated warehouse. There's plenty of seating options: sit inside a restaurant space or opt to hangout at one of the large common-space picnic tables, inside or out. It's a great space for large groups to gather. You can find tasty food options like burgers, pizzas, chicken wings, and ice cream. They aren't fully occupied yet, more spaces on the horizon for sure. They have free parking on the north or south sides of the building. They are located across the street to the north of the Edmond Farmer's Market. Edmond Railyard is walkable to all the fun local shops of downtown Edmond. This place is so cool! I am surprised I have not been before and haven't heard much about it. They have a wide variety of food for all different taste buds. My vegan friend was even able to find food, drinks and desserts that she could eat. I tried gogigo and then had ice cream and cities. I love having dinner and dessert all in the same place! They have a variety of indoor seating and a large amount of shaded outdoor seating. I loved this since I am only getting together with friends outdoors right now. Went to blue jays for a date night and honestly weren't too impressed given that it wasn't even that busy on a Friday night. Foos overall along with wait times just isn't worth a 2nd visit in my 2 cents. Smooth sailing for the railyard despite all of the covid challenges. The parking in downtown edmond is usually a nightmare but there have been some improvements and it seems like the logistics were done proactively. Five stars for vehicle access, entry, and exit The floorplan is simple and it keeps everything easy. Access restrooms and order food on the east side of the building, lots of tables and benches throughout the building, and a very large patio with grand amounts of seating on the west side. Each each storefront isn't typical food court style where you walk up to a counter and order; they each have an interior with varying sizes of dining area from one restaurant to the other at the time of this review. Among the restaurants was-- --one large restaurant that is unlike the others called 1889 and the serve all of the alcohol, beer, and wine. They have a a kind of upscale atmosphere with nice furniture but not a lot of seating overall, a well ventilated and enclosed cigar lounge upstairs, and some more seating up there as well. Their menu was good; several items I want to try. I ordered the cubano with a side of potato salad and they were both phenomenal; the potato salad was more like sliced potatoes cooked to a tender bite with loaded baked potato ingredients --a Korean restaurant with some food I can't wait to try. One of the people I was with ordered a rice bowl thing and it smelled and looked awesome. I think I saw some garlic fried chicken and I dont know how I skipped it --mexican is covered by a place with a decent looking menu. I almost ordered the flautas and pork belly taco. On my radar, but maybe after the wings and Korean --BlueJ's is a burger place and the item that I was eyeing the most was the pimento grilled cheese, but the entire menu is a good burger menu. I look forward to getting their fries too because I love crinkle cut fries --pizza looks amazing. People were ordering and eating the pizza everywhere --sweets are a must at cities! Wholly cow their cookies are amazeballz. I got the pumpkin with cream cheese frosting, and the cinnamon roll snickerdoodle. You people!! We love coming to the Railyard. From the large, shaded patio with the cool mural, to the variety of food and drinks for the whole family, it's a wonderful spot. So far, my big life hack is to show up here around happy hour and get a charcuterie board and a bottle of wine from 1884, while my husband gets the kids a burger from Blue Jay's Grill. Then we all meet up on the patio to eat. The kids can play while we sip our wine, and we can take home what we don't finish. Everyone gets what they want, especially me (no cooking or cleaning, and tired babies). Finally, we finish at Cities Ice Cream and get a sweet treat. The patio works best when parents act like they have some semblance of authority over their children playing cornhole. We were there on the last day of school recently, and it was like the Lord of the Flies over there. But this is no fault of the Railyard, just parents who act like they have no ability to impact the behavior of their children. read more

This is the second of its kind that I visited in Oklahoma on my Route 66 trip. I guess they're called "food halls" or something, but I thought it was a cool place to visit. It's perfect when you're hungry and you have lots of options. If you're into something sweet or spicy, or meat eater or vegan, they have it. I ate at a taqueria as well as Cities Ice Cream. Lots of seating, indoor and outdoor. And I can't leave out that there's plenty of parking. You're also within walking distance of Main Street. I regret not looking at the history of the building, as I'm sure this was at one time, a train station (at least that's the impression I got!). Would return next time I'm in Edmond. read more

Best addition to Edmond since I moved here 3 years ago. This is exactly what Edmond needed in my opinion. So many new chain restraints were added that it wasn't giving mom and pops a chance. I mean so many new fast food chains opened just this year. This is a nice change of pace. You can eat your way through have lunch walk around and even come back for dinner and dessert. Great outdoor space as well! Can't wait for the expansion and the added bookstore! Only thing missing is an ATM, had to walk to the bank to get cash. I am in love with this food hall. It has a very inviting and pleasant atmosphere. There is easy access to good parking since there is a lot across from it. It is very open and spacious as you entered the place. The noise level was moderate, space wasn't occupied with big crowds, and there are numerous seating options to pick from, such as their patio. As I walked in, I felt positive vibes around me. I would see myself coming here often because it is so casual and family-friendly. Railyard doesn't have dozens of food stalls compare to the ones in OKC or Tulsa, but the atmosphere alone makes me want to come back. Lastly, I got to visit 1884 and Taqueria El Camino, I liked 1884 more than I did the taco place, but services from both of these places were excellent. read more

My husband and I live to also do date night at Hott Wings or will stop by 1884 for drinks and a charcuterie board. Be sure to get your food to go and take it to eat on the fully covered outdoor patio at 1884 which has corn hole also. The venue and the restaurants host many Community events as well and give back to the city of Edmond. My family visited tonight with our young grandkids. A group of 15 unsupervised older boys took over your cornhole space playing football sending all the families who's little ones were just toddling around to safety. No parents were with them other than asking them what they wanted to eat. We tried to tell the boys to be careful especially after their football hit me. The boys ignored us and kept running around tossing their football coming close to knocking down little kids. One parent showed up and got on to her kid but no one else. My husband tried to get the boys attention by picking up their ball but was threatened by another customer who was ready to fight. He was large and yelling at my husband and my daughter who was holding her infant daughter. We left not wanting our grandkids around this guy and all the other families left who were there before the "boy gang" took over. These boys' parents ignored the cute sign about unsupervised kids and since there is no security or management present we had no one to report any issues to. We did call the non-emergency police line and supposedly they were going to send someone out. I sure wish there was security patrolling the whole facility especially since people are drinking. Our family does not feel safe there and will think twice about spending time at the Railyard. read more

We really wanted to like this place. Downtown Edmond food hall...sounds amazing. Starting with the positive. The staff is friendly. The food from Hott Wings and the taco place was good if and when you got it. That being said, this place feels like they rushed to open and were not ready. We were there on a Saturday night which admittedly is probably one of their busier times but it did not feel overly crowded. It took FOREVER to get the food at Hott Wings. We ended up leaving when it was ready because we waited so long. Ate it when I got home and the wings were good (not spicy at all, got the Jamming Jalapeño, my 2 year old ate one). We sat outside which has a nice vibe to it with the art and picnic area. Except that when it got dark there was no lighting!! They have overhead string lights but they did not turn them on. People were literally eating using the flashlights on their phones. Also, whatever rock/dirt combination they chose for the floor was a bad move. It gets all over everything. I honestly think that in the spring and summer when it is windy it is going to blow all over peoples food. Obtaining drinks at the bar took a very long time. The prices are high and I don't mind paying a premium for good drinks, but everything in this place just takes too long.
