I discovered this gym, in my search for places that offered drop in spin classes. Spin classes are offered 6AM Tuesday & 6AM Thursday , I believe 5: 30 pm on Tuesday evening as well. The classes are affordable with a low cost of $10, the class size is low, probably since its so early in the morning. Melissa is amazing, and didn't mind taking the extra few minutes to show me how to use the bike, and how everything worked. I love the option of not having a commitment to join the gym, and just being able to drop in for spin classes, as needed. They will help with endurance, skill and building myself up for the Ride for Roswell on June 24, 2023.

Well....six months later and the same problem persists. Some members are spreading their personal…read morebelongings around on top of the machines they want for their exclusive use while ldiscouraging other members from using them. These are serious weight trainers who want to train in a "circuit" and if that means you'll have to wait until they're finished even though the machine you want is not in use....TOO BAD FOR YOU. Several times, I've politely asked members who do this to remove their belongings and....believe me.....they don't like it! ONE GUY EVEN THREATENED ME! The weird thing is this....I've been to other PF's throughout the country and the Transit Road facility is the only one I've found that allows this. The remedy is simple....post a sign which says, "You can only use one machine at a time.". By not taking any action to remedy this situation, they are placing members in conflict with each other. Ya know that whole PF thing about "Lunk Alarm?". Well, the whole PF facility on Transit Road in Amherst is a LUNK ALARM.

They've converted all but one of the LA Fitness's in the Buffalo to ESPORTA and they are getting rid of all the pools in the ESPORTA locations. The only LA Fitness left in the area is on Elmwood Ave. which is super inconvenient for me. The number one reason I have been a member of LA Fitness for all these years is because of the pool and Aqua Fit classes. Unfortunately, it looks like I will have to find a new gym. Maybe I'll go to that place The Village People sing about. I hear from my fellow soon-to-be former Aqua Fit classmates that they even have Aqua Zumba!

This was my first time in a gym, in a very long time, since way before COVID 19 and wasnt sure what to really except when taken a class. My class choice was the 9 - 9: 50 am with Brandy for HITT Strength . The class consisted of 8 stations that were demonstrated prior to starting, which made me the beginner feel at ease, and comfortable. The music playlist was a perfect blend to get your seasoned veterans, as well as unseasoned like myself motivated to work and getting those muscles moving. If your looking for an instructor with a flavor and colorful personality give Brandy and her class a try. The lock rooms were clean, spacious and it was nice to see wipes for equipment and santizer. The smoothies helped replenish protein, after a workout, wide selection, may have been a bit pricey, but well worth it for the quality. Other staff, I came in contact were helpful and friendly which made the experience pleasent.
