They made my drink wrong even when i asked her to read it back for me and when i had spoken to the barista about made my drink being made wrong, she charged an an additional 50¢ for the correct milk... i've never had a coffee shop charge me for a mistake they had made on their end. not to mention, the attitude towards the situation made me uncomfortable because how are you going to agitated with me for your careless mistake? not going back to this location read more

Sticklers....good product, but I get charged for EVERYTHING! I regularly come through, and it's a RARE day when the baristas don't have the "I'm too good for you" expression plastered on their face. Just last week, I listened to another customer tell the barista politely that he didn't get his card stamped (it was for "Double Punch Wednesday") for which she stared at him. It was irritating as they all knew his name and he was a nice demeanored older man. I nearly asked the baristas to give him one of my cards but again....they had their backs to me until he drove off with drink and stamp - after the lead barista stated with a puff of air "Phfff, I guess we can give it to you THIS one time". Crazy stupid concept as the "free card" equates to an average of 10% if you buy 10 drinks at $40, and get ONE free ($4 average) upon filling the card. Talk about stingy. Pretty disappointing compared to Dutch Bros who's the market leader and DIRECT compitition. Dutch Bros encounters every issue with "It's ALL good!" And puts the customer in a honored place by giving over the top product and service Not so excited about having a barista act like they don't want to make me something. Sad, as I enjoy their drinks. I get the same drink from human bean every single time. I go to 3 different locations in Medford and they never mess it up and it tastes great and is consistent every time. I have given this location 6 chances to make my drink even a little bit close to tasting the same as it usually does and they have messed up every time. I don't know why their cold brew is like water and is light brown. I don't know why they can't make cold foam correctly and I seriously don't know why it is made differently every single time. I literally leave my house 15 min early to go to another human bean because this location is a waste of money. read more

Baristas are somewhat rude. Not all but some. Not friendly at all, no smiles. Today they are giving away their earth day bags. Stopped by to get my drink and they didn't even make mention of it. I had to ask. I asked for two as the poster states 2 per vehicle. They persisted that its one per person. Sign clearly says one per person OR 2 per vehicle. Rude..especially for customers like myself that contribute so much to HB. I buy daily but am considering other coffee shops instead. Negativity Gets tiring after a while and it seems they don't want my money. read more

Was ignored at the window and could see the employee wiping things down at the machine. Waved my hand a couple times to grab her attention. But didn't even get a glance. Was very rude, you could show a little human decency and say "hi, we closed early today." Will not be returning. read more

These girls are great. Always smiling, they know my drink and often have it ready when I pull up . Top notch place in my opinion.

Worst coffee ever. I love Human Bean,but this is the 3rd time I've been to the one in white city and it hasn't turned out well. $5 will buy you a cup of disappointment. My girlfriend was having a bad night so we swung by Human Bean for happy hour but it was more like sour hour. We pull up to a very short blonde person. Usually short people are pleasant, but not this one. My girlfriend was polite, and asked her about a snowy something she got at a different bean location and the girl was very rude about it. The coffee was less than average and so was her attitude. There was no love put inside of the drink. I most likely will not be getting any tonight. read more

My husband and I usually are customers of the stand on Barnett Rd. Since we moved closer to White City, we visited the White City stand for the first time in 8 years. I was very impressed with how quickly they made our coffee. Will definitely be going back !! read more

I believe people experience what they experience, but my experiences at this Human Bean location are completely different than the review by Glorious_Sunshine C. A surly employee can show up anywhere so hopefully the person referenced in G_SC review is long gone. I can definitely say that I have not experienced anyone like that at this location. I started frequenting this location after both Dutch Bros locations in White City became too annoying and inattentive to keep doing business with. (You can read my review about the DB at the intersection of Hwy 62 and Avenue H that was posted earlier this morning if you're curious about the details.) I like the menu at Human Bean and the employees at this location have been extremely friendly, attentive, helpful and they get my order right. While some might see the fact that they are located just off the main road (Hwy 62) as a hassle, I like the fact that I can easily access this store from Hwy 140 or Hwy 62 with the help of a traffic light. No more darting across busy Hwy 62 and dodging oncoming traffic while I'm juggling my beverage. I will say again that my experiences at this location are the polar opposite of the previous reviewer. The previous review is a couple years old so maybe things have changed for the better at this store? At any rate, I'll take quick, friendly, professional service any day of the week. All of these places charge about the same and they all make good products. The difference boils down to how you like to be treated by the employees. My preference is to enter the drive-thru lane and have employees who are friendly, patient and helpful move each car along as quickly as they can. I'm there for a beverage to go, not to become lifelong friends. Meet that simple expectation consistently and I will be a fan forever. So far, I'm a BIG fan of this Human Bean. read more

The Human Bean is by far my favorite place to get coffee, whether it's hot, iced, blended, regular, decaf, specialty drinks, it doesn't matter! In my opinion, their coffee has a way better taste than Dutch Bros and Starbucks, and I always look forward to treating myself to their drinks. However, the baristas that work at this stand in particular are the rudest, most self-centered KIDS that I have ever experienced at any coffee stand. They act like they are going out of their way to make you your coffee, even though this is a coffee stand and they were hired to do this job... I have gone to this stand multiple times over the past three years, and wrote off the rude encounters the first few times, blaming other customers being rude, them having a bad day, etc. Once every encounter became the same, I know it's not other people or their personal lives getting in the way. Every time I go, I get greeted with half enthused-half rude greeting, and a dumbfound look on their face after I place my order (a blended milky way is no that hard to make, I'm sure). I have complained through their website, and received no response. I mean, c'mon, that doesn't say much there in how they value their customers. I am making the hard switch to Dutch Bros, as their baristas are always nice, excited about their jobs, make good conversation and they actually remember you if you go a few times a week. They make an effort to make you want to keep buying their coffee, and they are way cheaper for a better experience. Goodbye Human Bean. read more
