Beautiful new location for a great business! I've been going to their flagship location in Capitola for a while now. Their stock can be somewhat limited, but for what they have, it's hard to beat the price! This Watsonville location is super new and nice. It's very open, spacious, and well-lit (pun intended). It's located conveniently off Airport Blvd. and there was plenty of parking in the lot when we came on Wednesday evening. We walked up to the front door, it was one of those split doors with the top half open and bottom closed. We checked in with the girl at the desk (Julia) who scanned our IDs and let us in. She gave us a little welcome and invited us to look around the front lobby area as long as we'd like, however if we placed an online order, we could bypass the 6-8 people standing in line and head straight to the "Express" Line. The main lobby room has display cases with sweet neon lights highlighting the various types of product they carry (edible, vape, etc.), as well as some old-school crane style arcade games with the ability to win actual product. Julia informed us that photos were allowed in the main lobby area, but cameras had to go away once inside the order/pick-up room. After getting some pics of the displays and games, we walked in past the line (of course I pre-ordered). As soon as the bud-tenders were done helping their customers, we jumped in next in front of the walk-ins. Richie helped us out and was super awesome. They had just run out of one of the items we ordered, though they had screens at each register with the ability to show you the inventory and walk you through building/editing your cart. I can not recommend enough that if you're coming to either Hook Outlet location ~~ PLACE YOUR ORDER ONLINE! ~~ **Note that both locations have different inventory. The Capitola location is actually closer to us, however the Watsonville location had a larger selection of certain items. Julia mentioned that it partially has to do with some restrictions Capitola has on selling certain brands due to territorial conflicts. *ALSO, the inventory can change day-to-day. Something you see one day may not be there the next. Ordering online allows you to casually browse all categories and brands, save time by skipping the line, and also helps to know exactly what the grand total is (including tax) so you can make sure to have enough $$. ~They are *CASH ONLY*, but do have an ATM onsite. Everybody we interacted with was incredibly friendly and patient, I really appreciate not being or feeling rushed. I recommend asking questions and asking the bud-tenders for brand referrals if you're unsure. They deal with these products all day and often hear feedback (positive and negative) about the items they carry. I highly recommend checking out The Hook Outlet's new Watsonville location! The savings are worth the drive!!

Cash only policy, but one of the atms wasn't working, but the in house pre roll was amazing. The employee was nice, however no one knew whether the pre roll is outdoor or indoor grown cannabis. Good experience. The in house pre roll was only $7

Disappointed 2nd time my order is screwed up because of the intellectual staff went in to spend 260$ to only have the employee tell me oh I thought you meant this other product when I clearly told her I wanted the highest the stizzy she had went back after I noticed she put two wrong ones literally came back within 3 min for her to tell me she can't exchange them for the ones I wanted this Watsonville outlet needs better employees it's 4th of July god damn it y'all could atleast have shown some sort of compassion not coming here at all Santa Cruz outlet is the spot to go friendlier staff and better vibes! 0 STARS! read more

I don't wanna get into it too much. My main complaint is that they have people working the counter, who are full of hostile energy, the opposite of what someone in the service industry should be kicking out towards customers kind of quite a shock. First they scan your ID at the door you go through the whole store you go to check out the Nate ask for your ID again and I just thought that was odd, so I said well you already got it in the front but OK and then she proceeds to get pissed off and tell me that they have to hear that all the time all day long. Do you think I like the rules? He gets in my face about it, i' it's not fair that you do this to us, she says, and I'm like I didn't do anything to you and I wasn't even talking to you. Do you think I don't understand what policies are and you're just somebody that works there? So she says honestly you gave me a little attitude and I'm in the position that I have to explain myself ? Over an interchange, that really did not deserve any exclamation or back sass from the bud, tender. She seemed poised and ready to refuse service well her trigger finger works. I just hope she saves it for something more of a consequence like if a customer is actually rude I worked in the service industry for 30 years and still has my family members, and this was really not called for her manager. Should have a nice little sit down with her and make her use some of the product before greeting the public. Read all the reviews on this place. You will notice a theme in a connection and what I'm saying and their reviews. They are kind of known to have really rude staff especially the females working there said a review on yelp posted by a female. read more

I love this place! So much so that I drive twice a week from Morgan Hill to get my fix. I love the huge inventory. I often need a quick, cheap option and you wouldn't notice any difference in their low priced items compared to the higher priced ones. Everything is great! The main reason my husband and I make the drive though is the awesome staff. They're always so friendly and welcoming. It's like coming into the store to see your friends. I need to pay more attention to their names. I believe Danny/Denny? Has helped me a few times. He always greets me by name like he knows me. Super friendly. I've noticed he really knows his stuff when it comes to different strains and uses. He actually got me a great product today that I'm loving so far. Thanks guys! read more

Ive been coming to the hook for a couple of years now and let me tell you, this is the BEST staff the dispo has had. Every time I come in, their little community is always so helpful and positive, I love them! I think it's worth recognizing Alyssa, Star, Josh, Denny, Mayra (I think that's her name omg), and the really nice employee with the beanie. They always give us their best efforts. Additionally the dispensary has everything you need for cheap AND u get a trippy experience with your visit (place looks insanely cool). HIGHLY recommend. read more

Good Prices, Disappointing Customer Service. I recently visited this establishment attracted by the promising prices, but unfortunately my experience with the staff left much to be desired. My bud tender exhibited noticeable attitude & frustration towards me the moment I got to the counter, without any apparent reason. While the prices might be appealing, the presence of frustrated employees can put a damper on the overall shopping experience. It's disappointing when good deals are overshadowed by poor customer service. read more

Fabby, Denny, Sammy, and the nice gentleman with dreads (whom I forget to catch his name) Each of them seem to time and time again prove that real knowledgeable cannabis workers exist in dispensaries. You can definitely expect not only top tier customer service, but solid recommendations that I can rely on for my needs. Super awesome that we finally have a dispensary in Watsonville! I noticed they carry Stiizy for less than anywhere and always have plenty in stock. The staff seem to know what they're talking about and also recommended a tincture to me - which I've never tried before and now I love it. Hook is a whole vibe and I'm all about it.
