Not to be confused with the Ho Depot, which is basically the nightclubs on Washington Ave we usually go to. I didn't know that they use facial recognition software and that's really messed up. It's also against the constitution and illegal. You would think that with all this money spent on the technology to stop shrinkage that they could pay well and actually have some pretty good people working here since they can obviously afford extravagant things. Terrible customer service. I ordered 3 appliances for delivery. I called 3 times to confirm my order & delivery and provided exact coordinates for finding my location plus detailed instructions. I was repeatedly assured that I was on the list and that they'd be delivered today. I never received a call stating my delivery window. After speaking to 3 people, I was transferred to an extremely rude man who told me that my order would not be delivered as promised because they couldn't find my address and the truck was already loaded. Not one person called me to state they couldn't find my address. I immediately cancelled my $4000 order. I will never do business with them again. I do not care if it was a third-party entity who handles delivery of these orders, he is representing Home Depot, and I expect much better professionalism. read more

We shop often at Home Depot in Indianapolis and find their selection above average. This Home Depot has the standard Home Depot layout and carries items most home centers carry. We were pleasantly surprised at the decent amount of lumber in stock considering it was only a week out from Hurricane Harvey. During the multiple visits we made in a week we notice new shipments arriving daily. Hats off for quick response time. However, we were disappointed when we ask three different employees where several basic things were and even after looking on their computers couldn't tell us. So off we went in search and found, and loaded, before the employee came back to find us. I do have to say the one gentleman didn't just give up and followed through. On most any given day, the majority of the employees we've encountered are very knowledgeable about their departments, especially the paint department. I find the store is convenient to my Mother's home, the items we've purchased has been quality items and I love wandering around home improvement stores getting ideas for future projects. read more

Worse Customer Service Experience EVER!!! Placed an order online with another store 6561 (Grand Parkway) because it showed that they have the order in their inventory. Scheduled and paid for a 2 days delivery. On day of delivery, called the store and was told Store 6530 (Rosenburg) was the store that would be doing the final delivery. Called this store and the Manager stated there was nothing she could do about my order since it has been rescheduled for the next day and I was just calling at 4pm. Told her I place the order early online (2 days) prior and only called since I didn't get any delivery update from them so It was not like I was just calling at 4pm given the fact I had already scheduled my vendors that would be using the inventory to work on my project for the next day at 8am. Did care a bit. Asked why I was not called to be updated on this delay, NO Responses. Asked to given a window when the delivery will be done, stated between 6am to 8pm. Asked if She could confirm an opening between 6am to 8am, she said NO!!. Told her I would call Corporate and give reviews on all social media about this bad experience I just had with them and hung up. So long story short, I didn't get my order per the scheduled date. If you place an order online with this or ANY HOME DEPOT store, start calling them ASAP just to ensure that your order is truly available in their store (they don't update their inventory rightly per my conversation with the Corporate office), ensure you go pick up rather than schedule for them to deliver cos they don't have the trucks or flat beds, and also their customer service SUCKS!!! They cannot help nor are they bother to help resolve your issues. Its a SHAME you make your customer believe they are getting the right services they paid for!! **Update*** Next Day I was called that my items was on the way for delivery. Delivery guy was given only 20 of my 60 rebars ordered. Said they told him it was 60. We both took pictures and I called back the store, they kept me on hold for 27 mins only to be told they will start processing my 40 items to be delivered the next day. What is wrong with this store!!!! Later called and request for my refund, was told i will be called with the refund info. A guy call from another Home Depot store (completely different and not close to my home) and stated i needed to come to his store to swipe my card in order to get my refund. Asked him how his store got involved since i had nothing to do with his store, he stated they must had wrongly called his store instead of the initial store the order identified when i made my payment that it was the Rosenburg's store's mistake. Told him the same way someone mistook my 60 items delivery as a 20. When will they learn. Their attention to details is sad... Told him I refuse to go into a store for a refund for an online purchase and that they all (making a total of 4 home depot store Grand Parkway, Kings Bridge, Rosenburg and now Katy) should fix their issues and refund my money. Absolutely, the worst experience that I have ever had at a Home Depot for pickup. We could not get any help from the customer service manager, Perry. He told us that they are overwhelmed and we need to wait our turn. I explained that we have been waiting for over an hour and a half. And he replied, well you are going to have to keep waiting because the store only has so many hands. Then, I asked for his manager, and he said that the manager can't help. I told him that it doesn't matter but please get the manager. After that he asked for my order number and proceeded to look up my order. He located my order in the system and said it's ready. I explained that I was told that 1.5 hours ago. He located my order and it took another 40 minutes before it was loaded. During this time a sales associate approached me and stated that he wanted to apologize for the delay. He said he was asking a forklift driver to assist for the last half hour and they all refused to assist him with getting the order. After the order was loaded, Perry said he was sorry for the misunderstanding. With the high price of Home Depot's lumber, on top of the lousy service, I definitely was not feeling like a valued customer. I will definitely start spending more money at Mc Coy's and Lowe's. read more

Yesterday I visited this store and found it to be dirty and trash, paper and other debris on the floor which can create slip hazard. One would think that with the number of employees standing around and laughing with one another that at least a few could sweep/clean. This was a first for me, as I was walking around the store a Home Depot employee asked me to help her put a large box on a flat cart. instinctively I said okay and helped her. In retrospect I thought about the number of times I asked an employee for help with loading lumber and most of the time ended up doing it myself because they were either too busy, about to go on break, or from another area, but were standing in the lumber area visitin. Maybe one day this store will have a Manager or Supervisors that care about the cleanliness of the store (before someone gets injured) and hire workers who actually work. And don't have to ask customers to help them do their work. read more

Horrible place. Went here a couple of months ago (actually, the one in Rosenberg to be more specific) and I just can't let this problem with their computer system go. It is dangerous to implement an AI or facial recognition system unbeknownst to anyone that lacks accuracy! Please, look into changing or improving this faulty system before people end up getting wrongly accused of taking stuff. For instance, their AI facial recognition system (computer) at the self checkout was highlighting my face, since I was helping my husband gather the products we purchased (a broom). Obviously, you cannot place the item on the platform and weigh the item on the metal platform, so I carried it out, thus, resulting in the computer registering and scanning my face! Furthermore she guided us in what paint to buy for redoing our kitchen cabinets. The outcome has been amazing and we love the color. Josh was also very friendly and helpful! First they give you a date and tell you should be in by then. Almost always it never is and ours was 2 weeks late. Then we find out the install company charged us the wrong amount for the flooring! Underestimated the price and we told them oh well they need to eat it. Then of course it's now discontinued! After all that we pick out a new flooring and they tell us will be in one day! Next thing you know it's moved again another two weeks out. Wife called to speak with install manager at store and she never returned calls ! The employees there are trash and lazy af. Nobody knows s**t we asked where the joist hangers were at and the employee said I don't know and walked away popping his gum. Then we asked for help to load up the lumber and the employee Jamal made it more than obvious he didn't want to help us. He had a bitter face the whole time. I am not one to leave bad reviews on yelp but unless it's really bad. Unfortunately this store sold me a USED $400 assembled grill that I ordered online to be picked up in store. I did not realize it til I got home. Grease stains from obvious food and a cooked smell. Manager wanted to do nothing to accommodate getting another assembled one to me until almost a week and a half later. Manager also refused to come speak with me stating she was busy. Guys who unloaded the grill heard my experience and said they were not surprised. Which says a lot! Very poor customer skills. Too many Home Depot's around. Will not be back. read more

At 2:35PM I asked for help in the plumbing aisle, no one ever came and they announce it over the intercom. The guy I asked about light bulbs told me the wrong ones to buy, even though he was in that department and I brought the burned out bulb with me. That was disappointing. But overall, the selection is great and it's conveniently located to us. Every experience is a bit different, but generally it's good. Sometimes employees are helpful and other times they are super busy. But that's the nature of running a home improvement store I guess. If I could give them ZERO stars, I would!!! The customer service was CRAP starting from the day of purchase! It all started with LUCAS from appliances getting my delivery address wrong after correcting him TWICE. He stated it wasn't an issue until they informed me the address wasn't deliverable! I tried speaking to a manager, AKA JENNIE, who informed me I would have to cancel order & re order and stated the delivery date was no longer an option! Not once did they take accountability or try to correct the issue. They expected me to wait an additional 2 months for delivery. All the while, this could have all been avoided had LUCAS done his job effectively. The rudeness was appalling and when asked for a district manger's email, I was told they wouldn't give me that information. I should have read the reviews before even stepping into the store! This place has terrible customer service. They offer Curbside Service just like everyone else. So I order some thing and plan on picking it up using curbside service. I get there and I check in just like I am told through the email that I received. 20 minutes go by and no one comes out with my item. I call and speak to a very rude woman who says that nobody's working curbside pick up and that I have to come in and pick up my item. It's not my fault that they are shortstaffed!!! Are you telling me they can't find one person to bring out items to the parking lot. If you can't offer the service then don't show it as available on your website or app. I have noticed in recent years they only have thugs working at this Home Depot. Horrible experience.... Attempted to purchase a storm door and to my surprise NO ONE could help me!!!! I walked in the store and a gentleman walked me to the door section. I looked around for the storm door I needed and waited... and waited and waited... 30 minutes later, I found a customer service rep to help, he didn't work in the door section but he was able to help me to the best of his knowledge... 1 hour and 30 minutes later after working with this gentleman the rep that actually works doors approaches and immediately starts working with another customer, my rep(who's helping me) asks the door rep if he could help with my purchase because he wasn't sure how to ring up the transaction with the option to allow me to get the door installed and delivered. The door rep looked over at me and says I will have to make an appointment OR I can wait 1hr before he is able to help me. At this point I'm tired!!!! How hard can it be to purchase a door? So I take a picture of the storm door and item number in which I'd like to purchase thinking surely this process can be so much quicker, I make my way to the checkout to find out she can't help, the checker sends me to customer service, customer service can't help so aimlessly walking around I ask another rep for help, NO help. I leave and make my way to my car I make a phone call to Home Depot and ask to speak to a manager still looking to purchase my door the manager Jeff tells me the process is usually 15 minutes, I tell him of my situation and ask if someone can help me. Manger Jeff tells me let him check, and politely gets back on the phone to tell me the door guy is out to lunch. WTH!!!! No help at Home Depot and 2hrs plus of wasted time on my off day during coronavirus, and on top of that being an healthcare worker during the pandemic, this is the LAST thing I wanted to do on my day off. First off I have to agree that this is like all the other Home Depots out there. Limited selection, out of stock items displayed, etc... BUT, if you ever have the chance to talk to Joe Cano from the paint department then do so. For him and him alone this Home Depot gets a four star review. He helped us immensely on a DIY painting project, even giving me the patience to continue using oil based paste (which I detest). Get a call, 13 days later, from the Rosenberg location telling me they can't give me a refund for this cancelled online order unless I either give my personal info over the phone or come into the store. Even than my refund will be split, partial by credit card and the rest will come in the mail. The associate said this is because I paid with a MasterCard. I don't give personal info over the phone and it's very inconvenient to drive to the store and stand in line with several other people with many more squeezing to pass by... too crowded! I asked why the associate that handled this order on the same day I ordered and within the hour had to cancel, didn't take care of this that same day? No one could tell me and not notes from that associate is in the system. This morning 1/25/2021 at 9:30am I visited the Home Depot store to purchase some paint and return an unused item. I walked past the Return/Order Pick Up area and noticed 5 employees laughing it up at the 3rd register area while a middle aged man stood quietly near the first register. I grabbed the paint I need and pushed my cart to the Returns area. I stood 6ft (on the floor appliqué) behind the man.... still waiting for service. I watched the 5 staff members laughing it up and wondered how long it would take for service. I checked my watch... it was 9:45am. Five more minutes past when the man in front of me said, " Can we get some help please?" One employee replied,"What do you need?" The man replied,"I've been standing here for 20 minutes!". The employee replied,"Oh.... I didn't see you...". I don't expect stellar service at Home Depot but this situation was terrible. All 5 lazy employees should be reprimanded for their behavior. Then they Had smart remarks when we asked for help for a item that was stocked high . They damaged a $600 toolbox in the back that we bought and we didn't realize how bad it was until I was home and unwrapped it . We Called twice to complain. they had me on hold for a hour and then hung up the phone . No one cares about their job , seemed to be all lazy and ghetto . Wonderful staff at the Rosenberg Home Depot. I would like to give worker Jerry a 10 Star. No matter what Department I'm in, I swear, Jerry is always there or walking by to help. He has been so helpful. As a 51 year old female, I've tackled so many projects thanks to all the help with advise of materials and products recommended by Jerry. As much as I liked Home Depot, this is the worst one ever. Every time I have been there, I swear I will never go back. I will tell you about the last 3 times I have been. I went to buy a utility sink with a cabinet. Nobody was I the department to help me so I asked at customer service and they said they would send someone to help me. 15 minutes later, I ended up having another customer help me get it off the shelf and loaded onto the dolly cart. Ok, maybe they were were too busy or helping someone else. Got it home and it was cracked so I took it back. This time was worse. I went back here to exchange it. The girl at customer service told me she would send someone back to help me when I was told her I couldn't lift it. Once again, this time I had to do it myself. Good thing there was one on the floor and not on a shelf. When I wheeled it back up to the customer service desk, I told her nobody helped me, she laughed. I told her it wasn't funny and could someone load it in my truck. At least I got it loaded. I hoped they would get better so I went back yesterday to buy a riding lawn mower but before I did I asked if someone could load it in my truck. I was assured they could so I purchased it. When they sent two employees to do it, they told me they couldn't and I needed to rent a truck from them. When I asked if they had a trailer, they said yes but I couldn't get one because they all had expired tags. They walked away leaving me standing next to my truck with the lawnmower outside next to it. Well guess what Home Depot, you lost a customer. I went back inside and got my 2500.00 dollars back and headed to Lowe's where I should have gone in the first place. They did load the new lawn mower in my truck and even tied it down for me.
