It smelled so bad our renters wanted a refund for their stay. I called and emailed Manteo Furniture but they didn't even bother to call back or respond to the email. I had to call many times to finally talk to someone and still have no resolution to the damage to my house and the cost I will incur getting it cleaned and reimbursing renters. I have been ordering appliances and furniture from Manteo Furniture for 13 years. But being a frequent and loyal longtime meant nothing to them. I will never order anything from them again.

We returned and went to east coast appliance bought a much cheaper oven that was even better than the original oven bought. While at Shoreline we also bought a Hisense fridge. The ice maker has almost never worked and as of a week ago the fridge itself has stopped working. After following up as per requested there was no word from Hisense. It took me one day to get ahold of Hisense and they were speechless we were sold a fridge from 2022. But even better because Shoreline is not an authorized retailer for Hisense/Toshiba products they will not repair our fridge. Because of this review he is no longer willing to even work with my husband and I to attempt to repair this fridge.

Exactly what we wanted. It is 30W 25 CM for $650. Beat all of the prices we could find at East Coast Appliances, Home Depot, or Lowe's. Customer service couldn't be more accommodating. This is our go-to spot for all appliances! They deliver to our home for $50.

I am on my 4th appointment and the multiple technicians who have been sent keep ordering the "wrong" parts. Clearly,their skills are not competent. Each time I call A and E Appliance/ Sears, they can not find my records. I would not recommend these companies for appliance repair to anyone- Cozy Kitchens needs to vet their recommendations better.

East Coast Appliance has been a total disappointment and I would avoid buying here at all costs!…read more The story begins with my husband and I needing a new refrigerator for our summer rental. The ice maker was no longer working in our old refrigerator. We went to East Coast Appliance in search for a new one. We repeatedly reiterated to the salesperson that we needed a refrigerator that would make lots of ice because of the number of the people in summer rental every week. The salesperson told us he had just what we needed. He insisted the refrigerator he showed us would make lots of ice. No worries he said. We even commented how large and how perfect the large compartment was at the bottom of the fridge that we thought was for ice. Our salesperson should have corrected us if it was not a compartment for "refrigerator made ice". We purchased the fridge and had it delivered the next day. We had to return home immediately following, the next day delivery, so we didn't get to check out how much ice it made until 3 weeks later when we returned. We were totally surprised when we found out it wasn't making any ice except what came of the outside door where the water output is! We were even more shocked when we called to find out how to get the ice machine working that there wasn't one offered with the model we purchased. After multiple calls trying to speak to our salesperson, we were told that the model we purchased does not even have freezer ice maker. According to our salesperson and his associate we were told that no kitchen-aide refrigerator has a freezer ice freezer maker-WHAT?!? We wanted to return this new unused "no ice-making" refrigerator and so we went to the store to confront and resolve this issue. We were told that it was too late to return the refrigerator and there was nothing they could do about it. They did not give us any way to resolve this issue other than buying a new refrigerator. Needless to say, we are not happy with this establishment and do not recommend their business.

I chose not to get gas powered because they are too hard to start. Anyway mine stopped working (charging) and I was hunting for a "recommended service center" which the company that makes it assured me would be able to help. I had already figured out that I needed a new battery by using the manual. She said she carries batteries for mowers and once I insisted the trimmer needed a battery as well she said she could order one but the third time she got rude I'd had enough. I got tired of her pointing out she was the owner as well. Basically she treated me like most men do, that I don't know what I am talking about. I never bothered to find out the price, I moved on to the next one on the list. If it had to be ordered I could just buy online and get it here at least as fast, right to my house and probably cheaper anyway. Girl, I know it's hot out but don't take it out on customers!
