I want to talk to someone about your manager Jeff at the Home Depot in Eagle for being so rude over the phone to me about a donation conversation I had just now. When on Sunday, their employees at check out said they would cover the materials needed to build some baseball benches at our baseball fields by the Expo IDAHO in Boise. They are run down and when I went to buy materials at check out they said they would not only give me a discount but the manager would cover the entire purchase on Monday and refund my card. When I called to follow up just now he was very rude and said the store never would do that. I spend thousand of dollars with that store ever year for my business and you guys can't pay for a community project that your employees said you would cover and do stuff like that all the time. Then, I posted this big Thank You Home Depot for stepping up to the plate and helping out your communities baseball fields. Unreal the change and tone of your manger Jeff at the Eagle Home Depot. I don't care about the money. I myself have donated my time and $1,000 to help restore the fields so far. It's the point of telling me one thing and the manger saying the most he's ever done and it's rare is $200 to a project. Seriously! That's nothing at that store. I buy $500 plus every time I shop there for my Business. Shame on you Jeff at Eagle Home Depot! I will be telling all these people about this situation now. Unreal how you acted over the phone! I will be waiting for you with a blue igloo cooler and take you to the train station big guy! See you when you get off Jeff! See how you act in person.

10/26/21... When I visited Home Depot last spring, mainly I wanted a new jetted bathtub. As long as I was getting that I decided I'd get new flooring for my bathroom and laundry room and new wall surround for the tub. The in-store Home Depot remodel folks were knowledgeable, respectful and helpful. Really, they were great! In May, 2021, a Re-bath (an affiliate of Home Depot) salesman came to my home. I had been sick for quite a while so I ordered through him and I didn't do any research - my mistake. I put $4500 down and waited for Re-Bath to get back to me with an installation date. Finally that date arrived on Thursday and Friday, October 14th and 15th. The installers, Curtis and Austin, were exemplary in their businesslike approach, their hard work, and their craftsmanship. They were nice guys in every sense of the word. The dry-waller was marvelous in his attitude and ability. I didn't receive what I ordered from the Re-bath salesman. The bathtub was white rather than biscuit (so I canceled the matching biscuit colored toilet). The surround around the bathtub ran from tub to ceiling rather than 3/4 up as I had ordered. I did not receive the towel racks that I ordered. I did accept what came because it had taken so long from the time I ordered to the time the installers arrived. This was due, I suppose, to the current supply side shortages. I do like the finished product. My distress with this project is primarily due to the treatment I received from Re-bath after I had paid in full for the project. On Monday, October, 18th, I called Re-bath to ask for an itemized report on the $17,387 I had paid. That is a lot of money for me and I was really curious how it was spent. I requested a breakdown on the price of the fixtures, materials, and labor. The man I spoke with was not from the local Meridian office but said he would have them call me the next day. I waited but they never returned my call. On Wednesday the 20th I called the Re-bath office in Meridian and was told that they do not itemize expenses but she would email me what information they had. That lady told me that I needed to speak to someone named either Damon or David - that he was in charge of my remodel. I heard his name briefly and can't be sure of the pronunciation. She told me he was leaving on vacation the next day but she would text him to have him call me that evening. I did not receive a call or an email. Because I was disappointed and frustrated, my original plan was to drive to their office for a face-to-face, but, that's a long drive and I decided to see if I could resolve the issue by phone. On Thursday the 21st I called the Re-bath Meridian office again and this time spoke to Damon/David. Never in my long life have I been treated so badly by a company representative. This man behaved like an insolent teenager bullying an old lady, subjecting me to ridicule and mockery. All I wanted was an itemized copy of expenses: labor, and materials - so I would know cost of things like the flooring and the bathtub. Damon/David asked me; what did I want to know, everyone's salary? Did I want to know the secretary's salary at the factory where the tub was made? I made it clear that, no, I didn't want to know everyone's hourly wage. I wanted only one figure - the price for labor. Damon/David demonstrated that he didn't want to have a conversation. Perhaps he wanted to put me in my place. Once, when I was talking, he began talking over me and continued until I gave up. He made a joke at my expense and then said, "Come on. You gotta admit. That was funny." He wore me down and finally said that somebody named Bill would call me the next day. I never heard from them again. What I expected when I called Re-bath was to speak with a professional who would treat my request with respect and do what they could to address my concerns. What I got was a bad night's sleep.

Thats a big deal given that I've had rather abysmal experiences with multi other service providers... so I'm shouting this from the "Yelp Rooftop": Call these guys!!! I was charged a very reasonable trip charge (that then goes towards repair cost) so this is a legit affordable business to work with that's also competent. So many reasons to recommend this Business: - quick quote available via Yelp Project feature (Creates quick & easy contact online) -same day service available (Especially helpful if tenant involved!) -friendly & professional business ran by local people (Experienced on small & large projects) -Energetic & readily available techs that are accessibility friendly (Will text u & kept u informed in writing)

I have fallen in love with this store but I have to limit my visits because I always see something…read morenot in my budget that whispers to me "Take me home." Today I was shopping for a unique birthday gift for a friend. I finally settled on a colorful martini glass made in the Republic of Czechoslovakia, but the three red leather art-deco counter stools almost made it into my car. Service was so nice and the display designs imaginative. It was so much fun to browse and find hidden gems.

We came, we saw, we did not buy at this new locally owned resale store. There are a couple of…read morereasons why.. Firstly, the store was sparsely stocked. But mostly because the woman manning the store (yes, I did intend that to be a pun) didn't bother to ask if we were looking for anything or if she could help us. This in spite of the fact that there were only two other shoppers in the place, so not as if there was a crush. Given this is newly opened within the last several months, maybe they are still learning the customer care ropes. But they have a lot of competition in the area as resale stores go so one thinks they'd be interested in top notch help for both buyers and possible consigners. We were in for both reasons, actually. I'm shopping for accessories for particular home location. And I have a hand knotted, vegetable dyed, Pakistan originated, wool area rug that I'm hoping to consign. They did have some rolled rugs standing in the store, so it may be they would take mine. But since the person working there ignored us, only a cursory hello in response to my "hi" to her, I think I'll continue looking for both consignment and buying. Ending on a high note, the place is spotless and some of the accessory items look as if new. THIS N THAT: 1) PARKING: Private lot. 2) ACCESSIBILITY: Once you get in the door, the store is all on one floor with mostly ample clearances between items. But the parking lot here is another of many Boise area examples of parking that does not meet Federal ADA rules or Idaho Accessibility Building Code minimums. Neither for scope nor for design. However, that failure is the the strip mall owner's and not the store's. 3) NEIGHBOR: At the other end of the strip mall you'll find Model Home Furnishings which is recently under new ownership. You'll get a great welcome and helpful assistance from the women working there.

He was professional, polite, and took great care when pulling the dishwasher out to investigate the issue. He was well-dressed, respectful of our home, and completely transparent throughout the process. Shane ordered the replacement pump and had it installed just a couple of days later. He even arranged for us to have the first appointment of the day! Not having a working dishwasher was a huge hassle, but Cody's made the process smooth and stress free. This was actually their second visit to our home. They had previously repaired our washing machine, which had been bouncing around during the spin cycle. Clean, top-of-the-line washers, and dryers, personnel there to help you with detergent, bleach,…read moreetc, nicest laundromat, I've ever been to

Ok. So this place isn't BAD...but it's pricey…read more Awhile back my washing machine was dying. It would rattle out of control and my roommates dog is the equivalent to what a human meth addict or crack head is hahaha. So many sounds freak him out. The rattling of the washing machine... was one of the worst. To be fair too, my little Alfred (a yorkie) would bark at it too lol. Steve tho...I swear you'd think the house was getting raided lol. So with that, for a few weeks, to avoid that, I just went to laundromats. Went to an old school one on Glenwood and Chinden. Definitely cheaper. It's hella old school tho. It's small and it fills up fast. So you'll have to wait...especially on the weekends. They only take change too. Honestly, there's something homey about that. I like the old school...any kind of stores or businesses. Very nostalgic even if just a random laundromat lol. Rave is cool. It's big. Brand new. Machines are massive, especially dryers. You could fit a couple people in some of those dryers lol...and I mean that as a joke and not some serial killer bs hahaha! They're very big. So you can use two washing machines (or more) and throw everything into one dryer and for like 15 minutes and be set. Very convenient if I'm being honest. No quarters allowed tho. You have to buy a laundry card, for $1! (Lame imo) and add money to it. I know that's the case with most laundromats these days but it had been literally YEARS since I last went to one. A trip in NYC was the last time bc in most cases in the city, the laundromats are your weekend ha hangouts lol. So I didn't really care for the whole card thing especially buying one. I know, it's only a $1 but still. Buying that and then spending a small fortune on washing. Eh. I must say, I'm a very cheap human. I look for deal everywhere I go. Even if I was a millionaire, I'd still be this way lol The wash is expensive as hell. The dryers are cheaper. I kinda thought it'd be the other way around bc I always thought dryers were more expensive to run and used more electricity? If my washer or dryer dies again, then yeah, I'll be back. It's close to my house and whatever...just ugh. I can't imagine adding the laundromat to my expenses. It's expensive y'all! And to do it every week! I saw some families there and just felt for them bc a mom and dad with 5 kids....they already have enough money going out. To add laundromats to that..yeah, I feel for them. There's one employee there. She doesn't do much. Has horrible communication skills and you can clearly see she hates working with the public. She doesn't do much except sit on the counter and look at her phone. When you ask a question, kinda be ready for that Gen Z attitude bc she's packed full of that lol. One word answers. Huffing and puffing when she has to help someone. Yeah, she's something else. I guess her in her defense, it IS a laundromat. There's only so much one can do there. However, these places fill UPPP on the weekends. You will have tons of people asking questions, needing help. So, I mean, maybe don't act like we asked you to do the hardest thing ever...especially us who are basically new to the laundromats of 2026 hahaha! Anyway! So yeah. Aside from that, the place is nice. Super clean. Very spread out. Huge tables in the front to sort out your clothes and whatever. Plenty of seating while you wait. That's just it too...for me, a single guy, I was in and out in like 35 mins. It was pretty awesome. My laundry at home...ugh I wish it went that fast lol. Oh, plenty of those huge baskets on wheels for people to use. In any laundromat, those things are a godsend. That's it! YelperRavers! Thanks for reading! Cheers!
