Tried to get a kitchen cabinet design. The lady working in that department wasn't qualified to run the computer, so she said we would need to schedule an appointment with Stephanie. The next day, we called the cabinet department and Stephanie answered. We told her we wanted to get an estimate for a kitchen remodel. We then set up a 3:00 appointment with Stephanie. After another 45 minute drive to get to Home Depot, we looked at backsplashes and countertop options. At 2:52, Stephanie sat down at her desk right where we were looking. I asked her, "do you wanna start now, or wait until 3:00?" She exhaled loudly and said we could sit down. We sat down and handed her a sheet of EXACT measurements. She half laughed and rolled her eyes. She asked if we had chosen a contractor yet. When we said no, she said we would have to pay a HD contractor $99 for them to measure. This isn't our first remodel, and we aren't children. We know how to take proper measurements. Stephanie would not proceed with the estimate if we didn't get HD measurements. Not only was she rude during our entire appointment, but the VERY FIRST THING SHE SHOULD HAVE TOLD US ON THE PHONE, is that we would have to get measurements prior to an estimate. VERY FIRST THING!!! We complained to "John" a "assistant manager" and got nowhere. We will NOT be buying any flooring, cabinets, countertops, paint, a sink, moulding, or lighting from Home Depot!!! After many years and MANY thousands of dollars, Home Depot has now decided that many of our military veterans do not deserve their discount. My husband and I have flipped several houses in our area and have always used our Clinton Home Depot. NO LONGER! How disrespectful to say his service and millions of others no longer counts. My husband went to the VA this morning to ask about this and was told they are fielding a lot of inquiries about what is happening with this store. Does Home Depot think my husband just dropped into the VA and they handed him an ID? He served his county and and worked for the DOD for 25 years after that. Evidently not good enough!!! read more

If you want to get slowly stalked around by a shorter heavy set woman then this is your place. Went in almost before closing time to get some wood stain and look at the dremel attachments, stopped in the knifes section to first encounter a lady who looked like a Deb. She asked if we needed any help to which we asked where the stain/dremel section was. It ended up being on the opposite end of The store. My wife got caught up looking at something else as I took off. Five minutes after I got to the section and was browsing here comes deb. Lowe's in Davenport is way better. read more

Ordered a vanity and a sink set. Spent around $700. Delivery was through NSD NonStopDelivery (NSD). They delivered the sink but no vanity. The only number I could find for NSD was for the main branch in Virginia. I called them and they said the other half of the delivery would be here today. That was obviously a lie. I contacted Home Depot and they could care less. Told me it shows delivered on their end. I googled NSD they have terrible reviews. Do not order anything delivered from Home Depot they use unreliable delivery services. read more
