I ordered and paid for a dishwasher on 12/18/2024. It was scheduled to be delivered 12/26. When it arrived the truck driver said it was damaged and i would be notified of another delivery. When i didn't get notification in a timely manner, i called the store twice and was transferred to a department that never answered. Today at 6:30 am an installer arrived to install the dishwasher that has never arrived. I am going to get a refund and order somewhere else. read more

What a nightmare Home Depot has become!!! Purchased a replacement microwave which could not be installed because the original microwave that Home Depot installed wasn't done correctly and a stripped screw was put right into the top of the microwave. We had to have it sawed off and then Home Depot would not come back for installation for 2 days leaving an unstable microwave in place. They are the ones who contract with the install co and then try and play like they don't have any control and they are the victims. Waah waah. We will NEVER purchase another item from them. In the past we purchased an entire suite of appliances and they were out go to store. I will now listen to other reviews and join them in my frustration. This is a decent Home Depot. Aren't they pretty much all the same? Not really. This one is missing the salt blocks for our water softener, but does have the awesome hot dog truck out front. So there's that. Their inventory system sucks though...I went there for a thermostat. Online said they had five in stock. I don't know much about this HD location but it appears to be one of the older stores, entry off Route 19 is awkward and re-entry is clumsy having to transverse several hundreds of yard of competing parking lots to exit on to a side road to access the travel light to turn left. Like all businesses on this coast wearing a mask upon entry is mandatory for now although I have seen a few offenders go unnoticed by the mask police - the mask police is the guy standing at the pulpit at the entrance. He looked like a poor man's greeter but he was quick to point me in the right direction when I asked him where the coaxial cabling was located (just for a reference it's at the beginning of aisle 35) I was hoping to find a quality 25' cable and found they had practically ever size but that (just for future reference they carry 100' - 50' - 15' - 6' and 3') I decided to go with (2) 15' cables and a splicing connector so what should of been about ten bucks cost me twenty-four. The store was well organized and relatively busy, the staff was out and about stocking the shelves getting ready for the holiday weekend. I ran into the kid that pointed me in the right direction and thanked him before heading to the self-checkout. Here is my receipt. I would rate this store 0 stars if I was allowed to. They went from we can help you to nope call customer service, So I call customer service and they can not locate the receipt in their system bc this home dept messed something up on their half on their systems. Customer service clearly has no training as they say we can help you after you say it's leaking gas and oil because it's blown up and they said just put it on a cart and bring it in The lady was the 3rd register in today on 2/23 at 2:20pm, Then after all that goes well it's gas and over 30 days so we can't take it in here which I expressed off the get go. To top it off the rude lady at customer service had a attitude the entire time and my girlfriend said that's stupid because how are we supposed to run our business if everything is so messed up and said to me we spend over 1100 on this the lady over the counter loudly says "actually it was 850 not one thousand thank you" This is not the first time with this customer service at this home dept being rude and making smart comments but I promise it's the last time out of the tens of thousands of dollars I spend here shopping every week or two getting supply's for my business I will myself and definitely recommend going anywhere but here. They do have great employees that are very helpful with products and making things work that you can't buy but customer service is the huge thing that matters with spending that much money and having to warranty things that you spend the extra money on. Me, my friends, my co workers, my family, and people who sub contract with will no longer be shopping at this home dept and sadly will have to travel further to another location where the systems work right and employees do not buy into your conversation and make you feel bad about a broken item. Needed to pop in to get some repair supplies for the parent's house. Pretty much a consistent HD experience, this one was a bit busier than others that I have visited. Seemed to have plenty of staff and several asked if I needed assistance. I liked that they had plenty of cash registers open, I didn't wait in line long. The only downside to this one is the parking/traffic pattern. Its just plain hard to get in and out of. Not sure they can do much about that, could probably say that about any business on 19. I will park further away where its more convenient to get out rather than right in front of the store. read more

We did curbside pickup of some potting soil for our victory garden. It was easy to order online and pick up in our car. However, they apparently did not track that we'd picked up our items so they called me a few times to remind me to pick up our order, which we already had. Whatever. It was still convenient. Now, we have a wonderful garden (in pots) which I'm enjoying watering every day. Beans, scallions and collard greens plus some zinnias and marigolds. Life is good with victory in mind! read more

We've used The Home Depot a few times to install the following items. 1. A/C maintenance 2. Generator 3. Microwave 4. Glass shower doors #1. A/C maintenance was not done well. Each employee that visited for the last 10 years did the service differently. All those connections and not cleaning all the equipment was strange. Also strange was sending a worker late into the early evening. I think this company is a scam. I have not reviewed the electronic data. I'm sure I'll find that the repair was not done. #2. Generator. A Generac that was overpriced by $3,000.00 and it did include installation. The distance was substantial so the price kept getting higher. Solution. Cancelled before they had a chance to start digging. Glad I called the Generac company. Paid and received great service from them Don't let Home Depot do your expensive work. It's a shot in the dark with them. #3. Microwave. Too big and to heavy for one person, but not for The Home Depot. The man who arrived wasn't the one we were expecting. Dust all over the place. Metal item ripped off by the installer. You will call me back to have it removed. Why would he remove an item placed by an engineer? Is he smarter than the person who designed it. I doubt it. I will not ever use The Home Depot for any work. #4. Glass shower doors. One leaks the other is still fine. We've used primarily two Home Depots. Both on US 19. The staff at this location was very helpful. We are new to repairing items around the house ourselves and the staff was able to point us in the right direction and help us to understand what was needed in order to accomplish the job. We rented tools which was a seamless process and were shown how to use the equipment prior to us leaving. When I bought too much the return process was quick and easy. The store also provides masks to guests that may need it at no charge. Everyone, including fellow customers, were extremely patient and helpful. And I've done 3 pick up orders and even though I get notifications on it being ready at curbside, it's not, I have to pick up at customer service, and it usually takes longer for them to get it out of the back than had I gone to get it myself. We are having issues with the plumbing and toilets so we went to check out replacements parts and things to fix the problems. The gentleman in the plumbing section was extremely helpful and showed us exactly what parts we needed to repair the problem. Alberto, I believe is his name, is one amazing and outstanding associate with genuine customer service for the plumbing department. Rating for this visit only. I needed to return a light we ordered online via HD. The light just wasn't what we envisioned and didn't work in the space. So, I took it in with my printed email receipt and went to returns,,, holding my breath. I explained I needed to return the item. I handed her the receipt. And I had my credit card ready. She scanned it and looked at computer for less than 10 seconds. Scanned something else and processed my return to the credit card it was ordered on. Easy peasy. Don't let the parking lot fool you, it always look insanely busy. When you get inside you just can't tell where all the people actually are. I recommend this store. The staff at the return desk are wonderful. Very helpful and kind. Clean and a bit on the dark side inside but I like that. I hate bright fluorescent lights which blind me. read more

This store is located at the southwest corner of Curlew and US 19. It can be very tricky to enter it's parking lot. Most other Home Depots that I've been to have expansive and easy to navigate parking lots but not this one. The store itself is clean and the employees appear knowledgeable and courteous. Their garden area was very well kept and particularly well stocked. Be careful in their parking lot both as a driver and as a pedestrian. Every time I asked somebody for help if they didn't know they found somebody that did. I spent thousands of dollars there, and I returned many items that I did not use or did not need. This particular store is about 2 miles from my home. Convenient! I also run here first when I need something in the realm of home management! I found most of the staff very friendly, informative, and knowledgeable. Yes, I've learned a lot. I've even had staff tell me how to do things that would save me extra expense! THAT's enough to have me return to Home Depot! Their departments have enough inventory so I can make a good choice. I know every store will have their "problems" but this store has shined above the rest for me. They charged $35 to have someone show up unprepared and tell me all the things they would not do as installers. Never again. Delivery service, Roadie is company name, that I didn't pick, claims they never picked up product. Yet I got email saying the items were delivered. Called main 800 # two times and held at least 40 minutes each time before hanging up. Then I called this store and the manager said there was nothing he could do since I ordered online. Ordered a refrigerator. Day of delivery, told they couldn't install it because no water shut off valve. Lost day of work and had to unpack and the fridge. They sent a plumber next day. Another 1/2 day off work waiting for plumber in a 6 hour window. Finally on a Saturday morning, called at 7 am for delivery. The team spilled well over a gallon of water on my floor removing the old fridge and didn't bother to clean it up. They WALKED through the water carrying the old fridge (hello Risk Management?) and muddied up the floors. I had to clean it up so my elderly mother wouldn't slip and fall. They scraped paint off of the wall near the fridge. Started to reload the new fridge and discovered they had not untaped the bins or drawers. Had to unload the fridge again and figure out where all the tape was, then reload fridge again. Lost 1 1/2 days of work when they easily could have notified the customer that a shutoff valve needed to be in place or the fridge couldn't be installed. This is a common issue, per delivery team. Stopped by this location to get a small glass pane for an aquarium addition my boyfriend is doing. Found it fairly quickly thankfully but struggled to find the silicone sealant he was looking for. We wandered around to try to find someone without much luck and I don't have much patience in these stores, so while he tried to find someone to help him find that stuff, I wandered out to the garden section. They have a great variety here, everything from succulents, bromeliads, & orchids to perennials, veggie plants, trees, poinsettias for the holidays, and more. It also had a bigger variety of pots than I've seen at other stores which was nice. With the time of year it is, they also had some Christmas stuff up both in the garden area and just inside the store by the garden area, so I wandered around that for a bit. Lots of lights, trees, & outdoor decor on the bigger side, but didn't see too many small wreaths or window decor to pick from. Boyfriend found out they didn't have the silicone he needed (aquarium safe) quicker than I could cash out, so he made me leave behind many of the plants I had picked out, but I still got a poinsettia and a bromeliad to bring home. read more

Home Depot countertops department pulled a bait and switch on my wife and I. We provided the specialist at Home Depot with very accurate measurements of our countertops, we rounded up so we wouldn't be under quoted. After getting a quote we applied for a Home Depot credit card and paid the balance. Home Depot sent out professionals to measure our countertops and we did not hear back from anyone for more than a week. When we called to inquire about the next step we were told we had to pay an addition $1,700 before anything else could be done. "Pay $1,700 or cancel your order". It took a while for us to figure out because they tried to hide the truth but we eventually discovered that the specialist had input our measurements incorrectly and had quoted us the wrong price. After contacting store management we were told it was just an estimate and that this sort of thing happens all the time. They refused to take responsibility for the negligence of their employee and didn't care about the effect their blunder would have on our project, wallets or credit scores. I would recommend to anyone thinking about using Home Depot for a job to get a second opinion before you buy because when all is said and done Home Depot will tell you to Pay up or Shut up. read more

Home depot is in my experience the worst store to buy appliances from. The delivery service, on two separate occurrences have over promised and under delivered. Exceptionally poor customer service and the general Impression that nobody really cares at home Depot.
