Jacob at Home Depot on Saturday, October 19, 2024 was so helpful. He was knowledgeable about the store and able to help me figure out the best most cost effective method to make-shift a poster board into a sign that would stand up for our community garage sale. I didn't have time to buy sign, but Jacob was smart enough to help me find tools I needed to get the job done. Huge, thx to Jacob!

I don't know much about this HD location but it appears to be one of the older stores, entry off Route 19 is awkward and re-entry is clumsy having to transverse several hundreds of yard of competing parking lots to exit on to a side road to access the travel light to turn left. Like all businesses on this coast wearing a mask upon entry is mandatory for now although I have seen a few offenders go unnoticed by the mask police - the mask police is the guy standing at the pulpit at the entrance. He looked like a poor man's greeter but he was quick to point me in the right direction when I asked him where the coaxial cabling was located (just for a reference it's at the beginning of aisle 35) I was hoping to find a quality 25' cable and found they had practically ever size but that (just for future reference they carry 100' - 50' - 15' - 6' and 3') I decided to go with (2) 15' cables and a splicing connector so what should of been about ten bucks cost me twenty-four. The store was well organized and relatively busy, the staff was out and about stocking the shelves getting ready for the holiday weekend. I ran into the kid that pointed me in the right direction and thanked him before heading to the self-checkout. My experience here was pleasant and I was in and out in less than ten minutes which is about how long it took me to exit the parking lot...

The receipt

Here is my receipt. I would rate this store 0 stars if I was allowed to. They went from we can help you to nope call customer service, So I call customer service and they can not locate the receipt in their system bc this home dept messed something up on their half on their systems. Customer service clearly has no training as they say we can help you after you say it's leaking gas and oil because it's blown up and they said just put it on a cart and bring it in The lady was the 3rd register in today on 2/23 at 2:20pm, Then after all that goes well it's gas and over 30 days so we can't take it in here which I expressed off the get go. To top it off the rude lady at customer service had a attitude the entire time and my girlfriend said that's stupid because how are we supposed to run our business if everything is so messed up and said to me we spend over 1100 on this the lady over the counter loudly says "actually it was 850 not one thousand thank you" This is not the first time with this customer service at this home dept being rude and making smart comments but I promise it's the last time out of the tens of thousands of dollars I spend here shopping every week or two getting supply's for my business I will myself and definitely recommend going anywhere but here. They do have great employees that are very helpful with products and making things work that you can't buy but customer service is the huge thing that matters with spending that much money and having to warranty things that you spend the extra money on. Me, my friends, my co workers, my family, and people who sub contract with will no longer be shopping at this home dept and sadly will have to travel further to another location where the systems work right and employees do not buy into your conversation and make you feel bad about a broken item. Luckily for me customer service is working with me and going to email me in a few days to remake the receipt So I can try to get a warranty claim started on my pressure washer ( which was the top of the line highest psi and gpm they offered with a big price tag for a pressure washer )

He found me a better wood that was in my price range not only cut it for me help me realize how I was going to build this thing then got me nails and screws and a plastic wrap and told me everything I need to do he was so beyond helpful he definitely needs a raise and be the employer of the month every month this year! it literally fits so perfectly. It was so easy to build. Thanks so much.

So good I ordered a second package.  Sold only at The Home Depot.

Yeesh. I had Family Appliance out for a repair on a broken stove, and while I will say that they…read morewere professional and timely, their costs are outrageous. I have no problem paying for expertise, time, and labor, but this repair took 5 minutes, no tools, was a $20 piece of equipment (probably less when bulk-ordered), and this "family business" charged nearly $200. Absolutely insane markup. Look elsewhere for a real honest business, please. Lesson learned to Google my own repairs in the future.

Those same two people said they would get someone. After waiting 20 minutes, I was walking out and another associate smiled and said hope you found what you needed. When I told him I've been waiting, he then told me to hold on and wait, which I did another 10 minutes. Someone finally came over.
