We went to Home Depot for a child's "workshop." It was very very busy and there was a line to get a spot at a table. We were given a wooden kit - this one was a BBQ as it was the first Saturday in June. They also gave us a blank gift card ... hint hint. The card fits well inside the BBQ - a good gift idea. I gave this 5 stars because it is such a nice idea. I love the idea of involving my 6 yr old grandchild in something healthy and useful in life. I figured someone would show us what to do. No ... we went to a table and everyone has to read the long directions and make it themselves. I asked for help and the man couldn't answer. We were down a screw and there weren't others. I wish they would have posted step by step directions with a picture or sample of each step. We used a screw at one point, instead of a nail. It didn't matter in the whole scheme of things but we didn't know that and thought we might have ruined the whole thing. .. a little stressful as we wanted to have a good experience with our grandchild. After we put the wooden BBQ together we got to paint it. There weren't a lot of colors but it was only a BBQ. There were decals to put on it when it dried. So thank you Home Depot for doing this. It is wonderfully kind and it could be even better. I suppose we'll get better and better if we keep doing it. We'll try again. read more

Buyer beware !!!! Purchased a exterior door and they completely mislead you on what they will do. First, they don't hold themself accountable for issues .. then they don't even hold to their words. I wish i paid a little more and went with Lowe's then deal with Home Depot APEX. They installed door that was damaged, did not take any accountability .. i had to do al the work with manufacture to get the door replaced. The 2nd door was also damaged. They promised to come in and address what they committed prior to me purchasing to what was actually done .. that never happens. *** ATTENTION*** This retail chain is the absolute worst when it comes to ordering a major kitchen appliance. Me and my wife went shopping Sunday Jan 28 shopping for what we need was a new refrigerator. We arrive shortly after the store opens at 8:30AM. We waited 2 hrs before we actually got help. That is just the start. We didn't leave the store until after 11:30am with a completed order. The order was set to be delivered Feb 1. Keep in mind we were prepared with a broken fridge for delivery on the 1st was no issue. The morning Feb 1 i received a call that my ordered could not be fulfilled due to it having to be delivered to a second floor. That it required 3 men to deliver. Ok cool. No problem. Got rescheduled for Monday Feb 5. To no surprise the fridge arrives with TWO men to deliver. So that clearly shows that the delivery company did NOT want to make the delivery on the 1st. It gets better. The fridge arrives DAMAGED. Was asked by the delivery men if the product could stay in my house that they would pick it up when the new one arrives. Of course I said no to avoid being held liable for these damages was not going to happen. With multiple phone calls expressing how important a major kitchen appliance is they could only reschedule me for delivery on Feb 10. After excessive pleading of how we have a family and food that will spoil they said they could push it to the soonest was Fed 7. With no call or information on the night prior to prepare for the delivery i just called and was told there is no delivery set for the 7 that it will be the 10th. At that point I have had enough and canceled my order. I've worked for Best Buy and know that their services are pristine compared to this dog feces of a show that just took place. This retail is not worth your money. Take it elsewhere that it can be appreciated. read more

Then i told that i have been in dialogue with them several times to get an update on my countertop, then the assistant said that they couldn't just order a new piece they need to return the whole unit and order a new one, and by the way, the vanity you bought is not in stock anymore, even if it says 29 in stock. Purchased a new gas range with delivery and install. Depot showed up as planned but could not install the range because they are not skilled/qualified to unhook the old gas hook up. So needed to reschedule a plumber and second visit by install crew. Two days later the plumber shows up and unhooks old assembly (5 minutes, 1 wrench). The install crew was apparently never re booked. Home Depot uses a contractor and there was a disconnect between Depot and the contractor. So after staying home all day, I need to wait another day to get rescheduled. This after 5 different phone calls and over an hour on the phone. Old range sitting on the middle of my kitchen.... Buyers beware when it comes to delivery and installation! Never again Home Depot!!! read more

This is my GO TO Home Depot. It is a little bit off the beaten path of Beaver Creek so it doesn't seem to get as crowded as Lowes. The store has always been well stocked in my experience. We spent many a day here from Machr-May with no problems. Check out staff is courteous and the floor staff is helpful. I like the fact that I can lookup an item online and (usually) tell if it is in stock at the store. Homeowners have got to have hardware stores. Home Depot is a classic. We have had multiple bad experiences with this Home Depot but this one takes the cake. We were able to schedule a date for next week for flooring and scheduled deliveries for our vanities to correlate with flooring. After no updates from flooring to the instillation people or ourselves, we finally got in touch with the flooring department today, who told us that our flooring choice was out and they didn't know when delivery could happen. Now, we can't get in touch with anyone and the flooring people associated with Home Depot hasn't been updated nor have we. And we have our vanity being delivered. We paid $60 extra to have them deliver it upstairs in anticipation to install post-flooring. We live in a townhouse with not ample room for storage. Why are we finding out five days prior that they don't have the flooring? The contractors haven't even been notified after reaching out to Home Depot four times. Had a disgusting experience today 4/19/2022 around 8PM with Josh in the paint department. I simply asked what is the most popular choice of black in the paint area and he laughed and had a smart remark. I then explained to him why I asked that question and how black actually has different shades. He then walked away and left me standing at the paint center for about 10mins and when he got back he stated "oh, you're still here?" as he was expecting me to leave. That was the most disgusting and disrespectful experience I've ever had in HOME DEPOT. Josh alone is the reason why I will never step foot in this store again. Being a newer store, it's cleaner and less cluttered than the Cary store. I found the employees there friendly, helpful and considering of their custom I I drive there in the rain to pick up mulch and the lady at the service desk was very helpful, especially when I had to get a refund b/c the guys loading the bags could only fit about half as much as I paid for. The two men loading the bags were also very careful as I drove in with a new car. I'll be going back for another load very soon. Another happy experience. Thanks! read more

I really wish I could give this Apex Home Depot store and Home Depot in general a zero or negative star rating. They are absolutely the worst! They as well as their GE Delivery Service and LD Appliances don't deserve to be in business. They have no idea what customer service is and haven't a clue how to run a business. We ordered nearly $5k in appliance on August 18th 2018. They promised us 1st September delivery. We get a call on 30th August saying that it needs to be rescheduled for 8th September. Again on 6th September we get a call that it needs to be rescheduled to 15th September. Again on the 13th September we get a call that it needs to be rescheduled for the 21st September. On the 21st September morning I call Home Depot delivery service and they tell me that only the dryer is going to be delivered and the washer and refrigerator is scheduled for the 28th September. On the 28th September I get a call from the Home Depot Delivery service saying that the truck broke down. This is a logistic company who is not prepared to manage a broken truck with a backup? In the meantime, we are in a brand new home with no washer and dryer, a mountain of dirty cloths and managing food without our fridge. No one else should go through the trauma we did over 6 weeks timeframe. As I write this review we still don't have the full delivery of our appliances even after paying in cash for them. So I am pretty livid right now. I would not recommend ordering major appliances from this company. We had a scheduled delivery today from 1:30-5:30pm which they confirmed the night before. On the website it even said the driver was delayed but on the way. The customer service is awful and everyone keeps giving me the run around. Apparently it is nobody's job to contact the customer and let them know the appliances aren't getting delivered. So I will never purchase anything from this company again. I mean we spent almost 2000$ and no one can tell us where they are or when they might be coming? I find that unacceptable. I will never buy another Extended Warranty or Appliance from Home Depot. Here is what is happening with my Service Plan and calls. I have called in several times today and last week to Home Depot's Warranty Provider, but nothing is done, but to ask ME to call back. Here is my story...I have a Home Depot Warranty and Hopkins is their contractor. I called Home Depot on July 9th to get a service call. I was scheduled out a week. They confirmed with via email that Hopkins was the Contractor who would repair my washer. I called Hopkins on the 10th and tried to move up the appointment. They confirmed the appointment using the Service Request Number and said it would be 7/18 at the earliest. Yesterday, I called them and they said I had to call them on July 17th so they could give me a appointment time. I called three times today and even after noon when they said all appointments would be scheduled. I spoke to Tiffany who I spoke to last week and today. Now, Tiffany, the same person who confirmed the appointment last week said it did not exist. Now, they claim not to have the information or serial number. I have to wait until Monday. I am hoping that they will actually come out this time. This has made my seriously debate the future appliances with Home Depot since their sub-contractor is not reliable. I also will never use Hopkins outside of my Home Depot contract since they confirmed and then lose appointment requests. If I could give this a "0", I definitely would. read more

Have been here many times and I have been through a whole circle when it comes to requirements. In all the aspects, I have had good customer experience. I did order online and picked up at the store - the process was seamless. Their website will tell you where you can find whatever you are looking for. I used their moving boxes and bubble wrap. Found them to be more sturdier and cheaper than the ones in Lowe's. Couple of times, I didn't have the patience or didn't know what I was looking for. In both those cases, the staff were friendly and helpful in guiding me. Their recommendations has worked most of the times. These days, I look to find whatever I need from Home Depot. More often than not, I find it there. Bottom line: Good hardware store for all your needs. read more

First of all let me say this. I Am a Marine Corps Vet and dam proud of it. Brow beating saying my VA vet ID issued to me by the US government wasn't a real military ID. Well your right its not a military ID its a Veterans ID. Past Military service Ladies and gentleman. So no ten 10% percent discount and o wait only if I'm a disabled or a retired Vet I get a ten percent 10% discount ok. Thats very generous Home depot but how about the rest of us Vets ? I have spent the past three hours trying to order four 52" fans totaling $1,100. The Home Depot System is SO BAD that it gave me an order number three separate times after I authorized a charge through PayPal and yet no order was retained withing the Home Depot System that would allow me to get the products delivered to my home in three days. I had three different Customer Service employees try to assist me but they had the same system problems where "the system was interrupted and not one order was active". Looking at my PayPal account however, there were three charges for $1,100 EACH against my account that PayPal was waiting to pay Home Depot for those orders. So I would not have gotten the product I ordered AND I would have had to pay my contractor for a wasted day when the installation was to take place when I dd not have the product and possibly even Pay Pal would have been paid three times when no product was delivered. It is beyond my comprehension that a system could be that screwed up and even the Customer Service employees all told me that this happen often and it was not the first of the same problems they handled today. Absolute terrible customer service. Asked various employees for items, none knew where anything was or if they carry them. Stood in lumber section for a long time waiting for help with a certain size 4x6 and was told they are out of it. We pointed that they have a whole stack above! Took another half hr to get an associate who was able to drive the fork lift, and he just placed the pile on the floor without offering any help. Tried helping my husband and the wood rolled on to my toe and I am now at the Dr. having my damaged nail removed!! All associates had attitudes except the sweet cashier who offered me a band aid when she saw my bloody tennis shoe. Unbelievable. read more
