I was so happy to see that The Holiday Shoppe opened in their new location. They were last at their previous location, nearly two years ago, further down the road. It's Christmas all year around in here. It's decorated so beautifully inside. I loved all the decorated trees they had on display and the many ornaments and decorations they have for sale. I found a cute Diet Coke bottle glass ornament to buy as a gift for my friend. It's definitely worth stopping by, while you're visiting Sausalito. The Holiday Shoppe carries incredibly unique holiday ornaments and decor. I hadn't seen an old timey tv that played "moving" holiday scenes before and they also had quite a few of the pet+wreath ornaments that used to be popular in the 90's. Additionally if you want a labubu ornament, this would be your spot as they unexpectedly had two varieties. The service was hands off but polite and I enjoyed browsing so we will definitely be returning when we're a bit closer to the holidays! read more

If I could give this place no stars I would. For being located in tourist town they sure don't accommodate or are very nice to their potential customers. It's a damn holiday shop they should be nicer the lady who works or owns this place needs to learn customer service. Stopped in with some friends and expected all the items to be overpriced due to the area. To my surprise most of the items were reasonably priced and they had some wonderful items. We spoke with the owners who were very nice and friendly. My friend bought an item that she wanted to take on the plane and the owners packaged it very nicely for her. They also had a good selection of ethnic items. I bought an ornament and little glass mushroom. I definitely want to come back to buy more items. read more

It's Christmas in this shop all throughout the year! Lots of Christmas decor and decorating ideas to choose from. My family always visits this store regularly - to browse or buy. And we make it a point that one such visit always coincides a month or more before Christmas! The store is still open, thank God, unlike other stores around that have closed up and succumbed to the Covid-19 pandemic. The store has pandemic precautions in place. And they require you to wear a mask on entry. Prices are reasonable. And the quality of the merchandise in store is always a notch above best! The store is clean and very pleasant to the sight. Such a great little shop! They were overflowing with Christmas ornaments! They will also customize ornaments, to commemorate your trip to Sausalito. The couple that owns the shop are SO nice and very knowledgeable about the ornaments. The prices range from low to high, depending on exactly what you want, but we wound up walking it out with three new ornaments, which one of the owners took great care in packing up for us. This place was a Google recommendation when I searched for holiday decor. I happened to be nearby and stopped in during lunch. I am glad I did. I found several new ornaments and bits of holiday decor. If you are looking for QUALITY holiday decor, I highly recommend them!! The San Francisco place is in the heart of a touristy area down by the piers. So it's a bit of a fun locale to shop and have a bite to eat. read more

I love year around Christmas shoppes and this one is one of the best. Usually we stop by in Solvang but I was surprised to find that this one had more unique ornaments! Customer service is great and wonderful white elephant gifts as well! So many cool themes and the pricing was fair as well! I felt very uncomfortable due to the unfriendly treatment and asked the person a question, he continued to be unfriendly even though I purchased an ornament (only because my mom loves Christmas). Wow, this store has what I think to be the wildest Christmas tree ornaments ever. For example, they have mermaid and merman tree ornaments but they look like real people. It was kinda crazy. After marveling at the unique ornaments up front I cruised to the back to look at some more classic silver and gold ornaments which are more my taste. Unfortunately most of those ornaments were the same blown glass ornaments made in China that I've seen at many other retailers. They did have some gold and crystal ornaments in here which are in my color scheme but they looked like the crystal beads were just glued onto the ornaments in random places. Although many of the ornaments in here weren't my taste my downgraded rating is really because I was the only customer in there for ten minutes and the girl sitting behind the counter never even said hello to me. read more

The wife has been and always will be a Christmas ornament / Christmas village fanatic. She has hundreds, if not... thousands of pieces that's been collected over 35 years! So as we're cruising through Sausalito, looking to eat lunch, and she sees it," The Holiday Shoppe," don't ask me how she spotted it... kinda like how does a Falcon spot a field mouse from a mile up!!!! Instinct, intuition, keen sense of smell, I dunno, but my baby's got it... big time!!! I say, "look, that might be a good place for lunch." she gave me the look like... "HEEELLLL NO!" how could I be thinking of food, when there's ornament's, ORNAMENT'S I tellya, right there! It's a nice quaint little shop, that had a very nice man minding the store, ever so helpful. The shop was chock full of mostley ornaments, not too much of the village-ey things, but still a wide array of eye candy for the wife. There were pieces ranging in fairly reasonable prices, to quite costly, depending on your wants, needs. (or pocket book) To our surprise, there was a peacock decoration on display, that resembled an ornament one of our daughters picked out years and years ago back home in Hawaii. Poor thing had deteriorated and fallen apart in feathers so long ago, it had been forgotten. It's funny how seeing something from long ago, can bring back fun memories of Christmas' gone by! We did pick up a few ornaments, to go along with the souvenirs we'll take home. I've had wonderful experiences with this shop. Recently I saw a beautilful Navitity and they were sold out. They ordered it for me, and when it arrived they called me to make sure I would be around for the delivery as it was near the 4th of July. That small gesture told me what kind of people run the shop. My husband and I are what you may call, addicted to Christmas decorations. So seeing a Christmas decoration shop, we knew we had to stop by. One thing in particular caught our eye from the window- a christmas tree that had fake snow falling down it. Yes, that's right, they sell a contraption that blows snow up your tree, to then trickle down - creating a winter wonderland. Obviously we had to get it, and it's great beacuse they were able to ship it back home to Texas. The sales people were really nice, helpful and ready to answer any questions. They have some neat ornaments, decorations, and other Christmas-y things to enjoy. They had great music playing...classic Spanish guitar. We spent $44 on two ornaments, so it was a but pricey, but they had a great selection. read more

It was a really fancy and cosy place i've ever been for the christmas decoration! There are about 5 trees having different theme and decorated very well. After i toured san francisco i just droped by sausalito at night on the way to return to LA. I couldn't spend much time there, so I wanna go there someday again and I am going to study more about this shop and sausalito. One would not expect a Christmas shop in Sausalito (or at least I didn't). Some unusual items with a Bay Area theme. Good selection of Christmas tree ornaments and items to put on the shelf. Some cool Santas, too. Some items can be seen in other gift shops, but most are unique. A bit pricey, though. read more
