I'm very impressed. I called The Hitch House yesterday morning to describe my problem of the 5th wheel hitch in my truck hiting the bed rails. Larry said he'd need to look at the truck and trailer and asked if I could bring it by TODAY. I parked in front of the shop, Larry came out, looked at the problem, then asked me to pull the rig into his service area. I have had The Hitch House safety check the propane stove , heater , and refrigerator on my RV they made sure my family and I were safe before a camping trip. As a female, I suggest that Larry the Owner comes into current times and gets some idea on how to serve women. After all, we are here to stay!! i needed a tow hitch for my truck and payed him a visit at his place. Since it was a new vehicle I believe he had some issues figuring out what equipment the truck needed. All he had to do was suggest I bring the truck in or maybe I provide the VIN number to make it clearer for him. Instead, after several nonproductive phone calls and the in person visit, he told me I was wasting his time by what he called " too much fish in and out of the water". Larry's all wet when it comes to communications with us gals. I recently purchased a Toyota Matrix, but it didn't have a hitch to tow my toys around. I shopped online and found a hidden hitch that would fit perfect with my ground effects. I got it in the mail and after trying to install it myself, I gave up and called around to see who could help me out. After talking to several different hitch places and custom truck work shops, the hitch house was the most courteous over the phone and was really knowledgeable about the product I purchased, so I made an appointment for installation. I showed up with my parts, I filled out some paperwork, and they started on my car immediately. Naturally neither he nor his front man were wearing masks. Sooo I told him I was a high risk individual (with an 80% of dying if infected with covid) I backed up and complied with his demand. A couple weeks ago I had made an appointment to put a hitch receiver on my truck and gave vehicle info., as they chose not to look at my truck. I went by the day before my appointment to check that I was good to go for my appointment the next day, and at that point they decided they should double check the vehicle...they had to order a receiver which was to be there in a couple days. They said they would call to set up new appointment which hasn't happened now in nearly 2 weeks. I found a reputable company in Sacramento who ultimately did the work for me and saved $200 to boot. The Hitch House installed a motorcycle carrier on the back of a 1 ton Dodge pickup for me. Larry, the owner, said 2-3 days for install once the parts arrived. The parts came but were incomplete. He had the manufacturer overnight the missing pieces and still installed everything on time. The install went very well including a modifying a hose & cable. About 5 people a day ask me about the carrier. Riders have by far the most questions. When the bulb lights failed, they immediately replace the units with LEDs.
