Worst costumer service. They had us waiting for a towing truck for four hours. We were told by Bonny that our options were to go with a local guy that they had scheduled for us and who was charging us $100 more than the initial quote. If I could give them a 0 stars I would. I am now reporting them to the better business bureau. read more

My husband's truck broke down at his work, can you say Happy Friday?!?!??? I can tell you that Teddy with SOS Towing certainly helped improve the day! I called to make arrangements for him to pick the truck up, after my husband got off work. He was 15 minutes early, something I have never experienced dealing with tow issues. He was super friendly, was quick to get it loaded up, and even brought my husband home with it. We now have this company bookmarked and will definitely be recommending them to anyone who needs assistance in the future. Kane just did an amazing job of moving my car that had been sitting for 20+ years. He was friendly, super knowledgeable, and managed to get a very difficult job done and keep his sense of humor. I was super impressed by the company , the owner, and the employees. Will definitely use again. Update: so the car that had been sitting for 20+ years had to be towed to Napa. I was able to contact SOS and arrange to have them tow the car to Napa and drop it at a garage. The gentleman was friendly, helpful, and gracious about having to take such a long trip. Reasonable price and great customer service. I continue to recommend SOS to friends and family. read more

We were in need of a tow and remembered by friend only lets Ted from SOS towing handle his exotic vehicle.Ted drives the flatbed tow truck which was we needed aside from someone with extreme passion and caution for all vehicles.Ted immediately quoted me and stated he could be at our location within 15 minutes. Ted arrived in less than 10 minutes & handled the chevy corvette with care, even though it was already injured. Ted is well experienced at this, I would highly recommend SOS towing. Follow them on their social media page, they constantly handle bad a** cars, all stars to SOS. Thanks TED. read more

I phoned at 9:20 a.m. today because I needed towing service and this place had such great reviews. After ringing about 10-12 times, the call was sent to voicemail and I was told the mailbox was full so I could not even leave a message. Very disappointed. I'd love the opportunity to change this to a 5-star rating, so I am going to send a text and see if they respond. For now though, very disappointed. read more

Got a good price quotation from SOS to move my non-op car from the street into my driveway. Told him it's a front wheel drive and I LOST THE KEY and I didn't want the transmission damaged by dragging the front wheels on the ground. (When a front wheel drive car has transmission in PARK, dragging the front wheels on the ground can break the pawl that locks the transmission.) When he gets here, he hooks the chain to the car and starts winching it to his trailer, with the front tires leaving skid marks on the pavement. I complained, and he said that once the wheels got onto the trailer metal it's smooth. Well, a lot of good that does while the wheels are on the pavement now and when it gets into the driveway! He then tells me that's all he can do and unhooks the car. I know better. There are wheel dollies that he could put under the front wheels so that the wheels don't drag on the pavement and risk breaking the transmission pawl (an expensive repair). His bad. Otherwise, I would have had no complaint with his service. read more

I called SOS Towing this morning to have my car towed for repair. I was given a time to expect the truck, and a bit earlier than the expected time, I was notified by text when the truck was 10 minutes away. The tow operator was efficient and friendly. Coming from a camping trip from the mountains, our car died in Stockton. A nice guy in the neighborhood called Robert helped me call Ted of S.O.S Towing for help. Ted offered a very reasonable rate and arrived within 10 minutes. His towing truck is a flat bed truck in excellent condition, very safe for the disabled vehicle compared with the other type towing truck. Ted is super nice and very professional. He mounted and dismounted the car so smoothly without any hiccups. He drove very responsibly in a busy traffic. We arrived in Fremont safe and sound during a hot holiday when service was hard to get. He is just a great guy as a person and a towing professional. I would highly recommend him to anybody who need a towing service. read more

Today I called 209-298-9493 at 1:15pm In need of help the man who answered the phone, quoted a price of 45 dollars, when I mentioned the ad in craiglist for 40 he told me I was wrong and that it was $45 period and an 45 min wait as well. He then became very rude, I told him that he was being rude with his tone, and to have Bless Day and I said bye. The man then texted back my sisters phone at 1:22pm and said" Ha Ha I bet your Black" I have the messages to prove it. I will be forwarding them to police and local paper and media. This was very very hurtful and absolute uncalled for in todays business world. read more

Ted was awesome. Really help me out of a bind. Great service and was very punctual.

I had a very great experience with sos towing. It was the first time I had to get my car towed, and after calling around to different places, this was the cheapest - only $45 while others were 60 or 65. Came in about an hour (a little before 10am), which was pretty much what they told me, and upon request gave me a ride to the auto shop we were going to. It IS cash only - he asked if I needed to get to a bank (wow) but good thing I had cash on me. After finding out it would be a few hours at the shop, I asked if I could get a ride back home and he didn't hesitate to say yes! I was very thankful - being a girl who knows nothing about cars and has never had to deal with car problems, and being in stockton, this was the perfect experience and service that I needed. I'm so glad I called them. Best service you'll get! read more
