I had only recently met Eric and hadn't seen much of his work but he was a very cool guy and had some great ideas about what he wanted to do, so I took the risk and hired him. One of the best risks I've ever taken. Not only did he take some incredible shots, but he became our official photographer, worked there for years and his style helped define the look and "brand" of the club. I was so proud to produce a gallery show with him, covering the extensive body of work he accomplished in his first year at the club. He finds the angles and captures personality and character like no other. His work gives you a glimpse into the energy and emotion of the event, along with the individual private moments he always seems to be able to find. Being an awkward couple, my wife and I needed a lot of guidance. Joshua did a great job at guiding us to proper positions, placements, and various expressions. He also does a lot of research on locations for photoshoots that provided scenic backgrounds. He's super chill, easy to work with, and very patient. If you use Joshua for your wedding, you can have full confidence that he will capture all the great moments from start to finish. We would definitely recommend Joshua to any couple looking for engagement/wedding photos. And we would likely use Joshua again for any professional photography needs!

His services are fairly priced, and his photos are stunningly captured. To all the engaged couples out there, Joshua is blunt when it comes to directing you during the shoot. But he does this because he wants you to look your best in the picture. I find his way of directing refreshing. Who wouldn't want to look good in their photos? To the future brides out there, if you want that Korean aesthetic look, Joshua is the perfect photographer. On our wedding day, Joshua gave me and my husband an idea on where to take our photos, and it became the highlight of our wedding. Joshua elevated our wedding photos and made them extraordinary. To this day, I still love looking at my wedding and engagement photos, and my husband I made it a tradition to look at these photos and reminisce together on our wedding anniversary. We've taken a lot of photos with Joshua, but it is never enough. I wish we could have taken more photos! Can't get enough haha.

As I found myself using her photos for decks and corporate editorial, I was reminded the power of visual storytelling in stills. We live in a world where short form and video show engagement metrics - which isn't incorrect, but that might tempt us to forget the original art of still photography to capture a moment, and motion or a sensation that moves people. For me, I hired Hannah for both event and product photography. Since then, I've sold out my events and my first batch of products. This does not happen without Hannah's genius and her talent for visual storytelling that moves people without video-in-motion; though I suspect that we might work together on that next Thank you, Hannah! From the very beginning, they were fantastic communicators, helping me with everything from choosing the location to discussing the overall style of the shoot. On the day of the session, they were warm, funny, and made everyone feel completely at ease. They were the perfect team to capture our family's memories. It was especially helpful that they spoke both Cantonese and Mandarin, which made communicating with my parents-in-law so much easier. Even more impressively, they somehow managed to get my cranky 9-month-old engaged and smiling throughout the session! And of course, the photos were absolutely stunning. The perfect finishing touch to an already wonderful experience. I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out and will definitely be booking Dave and Florence again. We used our engagement photo shoot everywhere - I highly recommend doing both since you'll get comfortable with him for the actual wedding too. 2) for the wedding day: he was a real pro- I had couple shots I really wanted which he took care of those. At the same time, I just let him lead a lot of the photos and ideas, and he came with plenty and made it easy and seamless for me, my partner, our families, and wedding party! Overall, the photos are beautiful - I am impressed with how natural the photos are (their style is very true to the experience and not overly filtered), and how he captured all of our special moments from all different angles. I was especially impressed with the photos he got during ceremony (we only hired him and no additional photographer) but were happy with the amount of photos we got.
