If you like karaoke the lady that does it there has a very big old variety and she's really nice. I especially like that she gives you a cover for your microphone so that germs aren't spread, great detail in my opinion. Anyway I will most definitely be coming back there for karaoke night.

My wife and I stopped in while running some errands, and I have to tell ya, the atmosphere and service are top notch! The owner/brewmaster is still an active firefighter and has carried that theme throughout the place! The brews have a mostly fruit palate with mango, strawberry, black cherry, and orange creamsicle ales. You won't find Corona or Miller Lite here, nor do they have liquor. Ciders and Seltzers may appear in the future, but for now, those aren't available yet, but they do have some wine for those non-beer drinkers. Food Trucks in the parking lot will also be coming soon! I'm looking forward to Engine 3 becoming a staple of the community!

Who knew that a dive bar in El Paso would have honestly legit bbq? When I went to 915 Vibes they…read moretold me they had opened another bar called The Lucky Dog and it had smoked meats. I was intrigued because most bar food was fried and greasy. When my brother in law came to town, I wanted him to experience the welcoming down to earth nature of the bars here (where families go out to drink together) and I was curious about the food. Wow. The bbq and brisket is legit. They have a smoker (locked up for some reason) that they smoke meat in every day and the results are super tender bbq and meats. They have a super clean full kitchen in the back (I asked to peek and thank the cooks) and they do some legit restaurant food here. The menu is pretty simple, the prices are super fair for the amount of food you get. We were 8 adults and it fed us all easily. We got nachos, zucchini sticks, onion ring petals, the brisket sandwich, and the ribs plate with beans and fries. We also got a lot of beer and shots to celebrate my in laws moving here. Happy Hour is from 12-8pm $2 Domestics = Miller/Bud/bud light /coors $3 Well Service was very friendly and the crowd was too, it seems that everyone was friends with each other which is nice to introduce to my out of town guests. Hubby remarked that the music wasn't obnoxiously loud and eclectic, probably because they have a jukebox system. We left when the dj arrived because we're old and have kids to pickup, but the others stayed to enjoy it turn up. I really like the bars here in El Paso, especially ones like the Lucky Dog which has awesome food. The meats were a little fatty but super tender, but hubby said it's actually good for soaking up booze if you want to sober up before leaving. Check them out, they're a month new, and #supportlocal. Expectations and reality were nothing alike. As we were seated our waiter took 10 min to great us and then another 12 min to bring our drinks. I didn't think anything of it yet it was a precursor to the rest of our dinner. After he took our order our kids food came out in a very timely fashion but our two orders of salmon and one steak sandwich took 40 min to arrive at the table. What a ridiculous waste of my time because my sandwich was missing the fries ordered and our waiter thought nothing of it till I brought it up then he took another 10 min to bring my fries. All this while simultaneously forgetting the sauce for the salmon which also took another 10 min to bring out. The salmon was so dry it was tacky and stuck to your teeth. If you know the feeling you know it's bad. The rice that came underneath the salmon was crunchy and way undercooked. All while the waiter was like oh I can bring you free deserts for your wait all while I could only think about how I just wanted to leave. I was internally livid and exhausted but kept it to my self after seeing the owner or manager who we the guy with the white hair over at the bar enjoying a few alcoholic beverages meanwhile his restaurants service and waitstaff to the worst possible job they can. I saw the people who got the most attention and good service were all regulars sitting at the bar laughing it up with the manager/owner older guy. Why not make sure your restaurant is running smoothly and food is being delivered and prepared properly and stop trying to impress the regulars who most likely will show up either way. Any restaurant that is this unorganized and unmotivated is due to crappy management. All this and the waiter is like I'll comp you for the steak sandwich with a discount for the bad service and salmon which was a whopping $5. I don't want a discount I don't want free day old desserts I want good service and decent food. Discounts and free desserts will never fix the problem because it will always be a crutch for trashy customer service. How about stop drinking with the guests and whoop that staff into semi decent shape buy some high chairs and make sure your expo does a once over quality check on the food and time it takes to get to the table EVEN if that means stepping in and doing it yourself. The restaurant is dark the tables are sticky the whole place is very compact . Perfect and quite attractive after 5-6 wines for sure. I'm sure the food is outstanding after a few drinks as well . They gave us a $25 dollar gift card to return which if I could I'd give to the owner so he could experience the same horrible food and service we did. I wouldn't even give the gift card to someone I hated. This was one of the first times in a long time I didn't just let it slide because I understand all restaurants and people have bad days but this was exceptionally bad. If you are thinking it can't be that bad think again it absolutely can. The whole "I'm sorry we usually have awesome service and everyone loves our food it's probably just me and my family " is laughable . This isn't my first time here while visiting El Paso. The food is getting worse.
