THE GOOD: Let's start with the best part. The Steak. I had the 20 oz Ribeye (with Brown butter) it…read morewas honestly one of the best steaks I've had anywhere in the world. Worth the trip alone. We also had the Berry Salad. It was tasty but absolutely served as a side dish it's not big enough for a meal. The sea bass was very good and perfectly cooked. The lobster roll was anything but great. As a matter of fact the potato wedges (fries) were better than the lobster roll. THE BAD: let's go back to those lobster rolls. They taste like they are made from leftover lobster parts. Not tail but stuff. They didn't taste right. Not like they tasted spoiled in anyway but just more like a seafood roll than a lobster roll. The server while VERY NICE knew nothing about any of the food. We asked what cut of meat the fajitas were and instead of offering to ask the Chef she said "this is an upscale restaurant so I'm sure it's a good cut" also when we ordered appetizers (bacon wrapped shrimp) we asked for them as a starter then after to bring the entrees. After a long delay she came by to let us know that there would be a delay so they could bring everything out at once. I asked her again if we could get the appetizer before entrees and all she could say was that the salad had already been made. Which was confusing as we asked for the salad to be brought out as an entree for one of the ladies. When the food did come out all at once you could tell the cooking time was not planned correctly. The bacon wrapped shrimp were room temp not even warm. The sea bass was hot but the asparagus on the plate was also room temp. The music: it was perfect for the setting. The restaurant is small but not too small it feels perfect for an intimate meal with family friends or that special someone. They were playing classic music from the mexican jazz songbook from the 40's. Then out of no where they jacked up the BPM and threw in some EDM which did not fit at all. I think someone must have complained cause they switched back. Ultimately this place has TONS of potential. The food when served properly was great. The ambiance is there when they try. But I feel the management needs to do a few things to help train the staff. 1. Take them to a truly upscale dining location and let them experience what that level of service is like. 2. Have them watch The Bear S2 E7 if not the entire series. 3. Have them watch Knife's Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars Price: not bad at all. For the level of quality of food it felt very fairly priced. I look forward to visiting again with hopes that they quickly grow out of their growing pains. It's obvious the biggest opportunity is in the training. Whoever manages this restaurant was the weakest link. You can't just say you're high end and then not train your people to offer that level of service. Just being "super nice" does not mean your team is prepared to live up to a standard they may not understand. Oh and I'm sure the employees need all those badges and lanyards but forcing them to wear them while serving makes it feel more like HMS airport staff. If they have to wear them maybe ask them to wear them someplace so that they don't stand out. I know this seems very critical but it's only cause I actually LOVE this restaurant and want it to shine like the star it can be. Right now it's more like tarnished silver. Oh one last thing that they probably can't fix that's not great. You have to walk through the smoking section of the casino to get to the restaurant. So be prepared to old your breathe.

The worst steakhouse in El Paso for sure. Parking is far away, long walk to get to it with heels…read more Bread is served hard and cold. potato served cold. Appetizer served at the same time as the entree, when I brought it up to the waitress, she said thats how they serve it at that restaurant, all together with the food. They serve the stake in a salad plate, so small that food sticks out the plate. Dinner for two was $150. To enter the restaurant you have to walk through the Smokey side of the casino. it's gross, I hated it. Do not recommend at all.
