And it was a very big store with many different rooms. It seems that somehow they reduced the size of the building. In the past, they had a lot more in the way of unique gifts and country type items, antiques as well as cookies and candies. They still have some of those things, but it seems like it really it has been toned down quite a bit. I also remember in the past there was an old firehouse outside nearby, and I think they renovated it. And turned it into an empty building, which resembles the same building as the country store. My friend ended up buying a bar of lavender soap and I bought a couple of bags of netties kettle corn. The staff was friendly and helpful. We found the prices to be a little bit on the steep side.

I always get a special ornament from the Grapevine- something you can't find elsewhere. Diane, the owner, has become family to me throughout the years. Personally, I've met people in the Grapevine that have also become close friends. This is the heart of Holliston, in my opinion. Diane is amazing and her store is an extension of her character and thoughtful touch. I can't recommend The Grapevine enough. :)

I could probably be considered an "annoying client" because I often try to pick stuff up when I know it is there- but they always have no issue and happily do it! I also like to come in close to closing time (which isn't really that big of a deal bc all my labels are prepaid) but when I see the door locked and closed at 11:58 on Saturday's and on 4:58 during the week I get really upset because they shouldn't be closing early no matter what! But come to find out it's a gentleman who always closes 2 minutes early! It's a man that is constantly closing 2 minutes early- so kudos to the women who work here but the man who constantly closes early that's not right and it almost caused me to avoid this PO completely. If it weren't for the women who have helped me the last few times I've been in- I may not have returned! So thanks ladies for being consistent and amazing !
