Krissy is truly a miracle worker. Not only is she one of the kindest people ever, but she is so knowledgable in her field and will help you overcome and get rid of whatever pain you're feeling. I'm 18 years old and have scoliosis- diagnosed when I was 14. My back has 2 curves in it, top was 43 and bottom was 41 degrees, and I was in a brace for 2.5 years which helped stop the progression until I was done growing. But, I still had 2 major curves in my back and the pain that came along with it was quite bad. I play volleyball and am active so I went to the chiropractor to try and help relieve the pain (they would regularly re-align my pelvis and legs because they kept shifting, stimulate my back muscles, etc.) which helped short-term but did not address the problem and give me hope for a long-term solution. Then, I found Krissy and oh my she is amazing. After an evaluation and discussion of my pain, issues, and other related topics she knew exactly what needed to be done. Krissy is amazing and a true professional! She is attentive, knowledgable, and thoroughly explains her techniques and impact of treatment. She spends quite a bit of time evaluating my body and asking questions regarding injuries, tightness, and any other conditions causing discomfort over the course of my life. I've spent most of my life believing issues with my lower body were due to one leg being shorter than the other in addition to a displaced patella. My hips were always tight and it often felt as though my left hip was popping out of place when I walked. After suffering daily for over a year in chest, shoulder, and back pain, I was diagnosed with Cerival Degeneration of c4, c5 with myelopathy at c6 c7. The narrowing of the canal and pushing on the spinal cord, caused extreme pain numerous, motor strength, and balance problems. It was extremely affecting my daily activities and quality of life. As an competitive athlete, I knew Krissy would understand my needs, so I drove the hour and a half to see her for a 90-minute intense session and evaluation. I didn't understand or know much about the myofascial release and didn't know the true value in this until I met with Krissy. I has degenerative disc disease (DDD) on my spine near my neck and woke up one day with shooting pain down my arm, shoulder, and neck. I went through doctors, chiropractors, acupuncture, and traditional PT. Pain only subsided after each treatment but came right back. I have been seeing Krissy for about a year now. After taking a Myofascial Release Seminar from John Barnes.I wanted to continue on my journey of well being, since I had great results from the seminar. On my return flight home I was not anxious on the flight. I also noticed that I was more relaxed driving home on the freeway in a lot of traffic. Which before I would get very tense in my neck and back. Let me explain 32 years ago I was in a car accident and sustained a traumatic head injury. I went through extensive therapy. As an endurance runner, bodybuilder, and crossfit athlete, I have really put my body through a lot. Despite my efforts of injury prevention, I have developed muscle imbalances and a few minor injuries as a result. About a year ago, Krissy was able to assess and identify the imbalances in my hips that were causing significant pain after runs and sitting for long periods. The pain was gone after only one treatment of myofascial release. It was amazing. We are continuing to work on correcting the positions of my hips, but the hip injury itself has healed completely with no residual pain. Krissy and Myofascial Release saved me from having spinal fusion surgery! I had chronic pain from a herniated disc in my cervical spine for almost two years. I had been looking for someone that specializes in Myofascial release for awhile, and was thrilled to find that someone locally. Krissy does a wonderful job explaining the world of the fascia, and how it can get "stuck". This women is absolutely amazing!!! I went to see her for the rotation & stiffness in my back, after one session I had full rotation to my right. I am also a gym rat and haven't been able to run in over 1 1/2 years, that being said after my session with Krissy Chin I went to the the gym 2 days later, felt the urge to run on the treadmill. When I did I was able to run on 7.5 speed for 30 min no aches & pains in my knees which that wasn't what I went for. Suprised I was even able to do that, I was more then extatic!!!
