Having your hair dresser 40 minutes behind and making you wait that long is unacceptable. Then says "oh I'm just running a little behind"

Seriously tho, my dog can chew my hair better than this. The lady certainly didn't have any skills and I doubt that they are even trained, and yet the owner claims that they are professional Korean haircut. LOL. She barely speaks English, it's extremely difficult to communicate. I saw the reviews on Google and decided to go, but now that I'm reading it thru, most of the five stars looks suspicious. This place has NO SERVICE, NO SKILLS, and NO INTEGRITY. I will NEVER EVER go to this place again and none of you should, if you don't wanna waste your almost $70 for nothing :) I wrote this on google, complained to the people who work there, but I still get no apologies till this day. They DO NOT care!

The day on my treatment, my hair turned neon yellow and they tired to fix it with a toner. I left the salon with green hair and zero compensation! I obviously didn't pay one red penny. It took me 3 years to grow my hair out to grey and they ruined it in one go. I paid 250 dollars for another salon to fix their mistake and now my hair is no longer grey. And they don't' even care! I will never recommend this salon. They are completely incompetent.

I feel compelled to remove a Remedy Spa star based on my experiences here in the last 6 months…read more What with being a pretty big fan of this spa when it initially opened I was (evidently) one of the first people to end up on the spam list. I remember why I had initially forked over my contact details to RS and it was because they occasionally have open house events where you can try products and even receive free (micro session) services like paraffin treatments. Uhh, free spa services!? Show me the dotted line! Several months later I did however start to notice that I was receiving multiple promotional offers/month in my email as well as being sent junk mail in snail mail version! Haughtily, I informed RS that I wanted to receive no more junk and yet somehow still receive the occasional email... At least the paper waste has stopped... I guess? My second gripe with RS was over an encounter I had in late July. I even booked this 50% off wax session from Vancouver, weeks in advance... I was THAT pumped about being back to the land of reasonably priced lady services! Upon arriving, I had an extremely awkward conversation with my esthetician about what *type* of service I would be getting. Trying to cajole someone into ripping MORE hair from between your legs is, I assure you, uncomfortable even for an extrovert. Perhaps you have had this happen before? Where you have been inadvertently booked into a smaller time window than your desired service will take? The real crux in all of this was that whomever I had booked with had not asked which service I wanted and what ultimately came to light was that my wax lady had NEVER DONE A FULL BIKINI WAX BEFORE. She was therefor too nervous to try on me (hey, me too once I found this out!) and I ended up paying for and leaving with a) not the service I had wanted and b) a rather crooked and sloppy job upon at home inspection. To be fair, we've all started new jobs before and I guess there's no school for bikini waxing with faux hippy bush dummies to practice on but come on... I hope my next experience at Remedy is more customer oriented! I will for sure be clarifying repeatedly in future which service I want as well as requesting a more experienced wax-er.

When I reached the tastefully designed landing, the smell of warm citrus was like a veil, calming me instantaneously and giving me the desire to be fully pampered. I entered into the small space and was greeted by sunlight and shelves of properly placed products. The lady at the desk was on the tele, so I grabbed a pamphlet and perused the skin care goodies. While reaching for the price list, I noticed an assortment of alcohol bottles and martini glasses - I was wooed right then and there into wanting a Sex & the City moment to call my own. The Farmhouse Fresh products looked sassy and sweet, with yummy smells and gorgeous packaging. There was a foot treatment called the Honey Heel Glaze, selling for $24, which looked like a lovely product. Remedy also carries OPI nail products and a variety of other soothing and rejuvenating luxury items to make your epidermis glow! I loved the look and feel of this place and was glad I opted to head up the stairs to check this place out. The smell alone is enough to calm even the most wound-up of souls, and should be a service in itself. I adore this Facial Bar and would love to have a treatment here.

They use the same power laser and it is literally torture (if you are AFAB I'm sure it didn't hurt at all). I had two sessions, cried after both, and thought I would have to give up on this. The pain was so intense I can't overstate it. I do have coarse hair (and a lot of it) so maybe if you don't have much facial hair, but still. They are clearly tuned to the finer hair of AFAB, which is fine, but I had no idea this level of pain isn't normal. Go to a place that *has* electrolysis, but don't actually get electrolysis to start (one I switched to is Sunswirl in darmouth) they are much more medical and actually understand different hair types. Not only was the prep work more throughout (making sure it's shaved close enough, cleaned, etc) but the pain was actually tolerable. They will actually respond to how painful it is for you, and adjust. Oh ya, the price is also insane. The other place I'm at is *less* *without* any discount (less than dermaenvy's 50% discount for gender care) and they do also have some discount for gender care on packages of 3+

The staff doesn't hover or act intrusive but are available when you need them or seem stumped and are happy to stay with you as much as possible to be as helpful as possible, time willing but are never too far if you require further assistance. The staff are kind, friendly and not pushy. If you're going into Sephora, you're not going to look around, you're there for a purpose and reason. That was a wonderful shopping experience, exactly as I've come to expect when I walk through the entrance and leave with my cute stripped bag or three and I of course will be back. I'm a customer but I always feel welcomed and comfortable in the store and with the staff. They actually all seem to enjoy working there as it shows in their customer service and sales approach. Thank you Halifax Shopping Centre Sephora location in Halifax, Nova Scotia. You're staff and store are always on my list to visit when I go to the mall. Huge happy customer hugs and I hope you all continue to keep that extra sparkle you have. Long story but helpful if you have time to read. I want to warn everyone…read more I have been Rouge for many years and happy with all of my purchases since until April 10, 2024. I placed an order online in total of $428 for delivery on April 7 at 1am. It said delivery by April 11. On April 7 at 6am, the very first thing I did after I woke up was I chatted with their customer to ask them hold off my package for 2 days while it's still in the warehouse or if they could switch to a pickup order because I would be on vacation with my family that I haven't met for 4 years until April 12. They said "No". They couldn't do anything to stop it. They kept suggesting me having someone to watch the package when I told them already I had no one nearby. They were absolutely a terrible listener. We lived in a townhouse by street and there is no safe spot to put the package at all. I don't know my neighbor or anyone nearby that I could ask to keep the package for me since we just moved there. They said only way I could do is to contact the carrier company myself once it's shipped to ask them to hold it. Okay, fine, once the package was shipped. Status " Awaiting for carrier pickup". It was by TForce Logistics, then I asked Sephora for TForce contact details but when I gave TForce a call, turned out it was TForce Freight which they never ever do delivery for Sephora and they said they have been called a lot from misunderstanding. I was just shocked!! Sephora doesn't know their own people! OMG!! I called again still got a wrong phone number. Anyway, I got TForce correct number eventually but this logistics company is Very bad. They don't know what they're doing. They couldn't pull up the tracking number that Sephora gave. When I asked if they would usually call receivers before delivery or not, they said they wouldn't know until they could pull up the tracking number. They have very low rate on Google. People have bad experience with them. However, Sephora choose to just use the cheapest carrier to save themselves and offer pain to their customers. I was on the phone with Sephora and TForce on my vacation back and forth for more than 4 hours and my request still didn't get done. I was very upset and worried and this matter literally ruined my good time with my family. Sephora third customer service that I called said TForce wouldn't be able to pull up the tracking number until they receive the package from Sephora. I called Sephora again and couldn't hold my tears because I was so worried that my package would get stolen while I was away. The last customer service I spoke with on that day asked me to choose if I wanted a refund or delaying they shipment. I said refund and I would return all the products to the store if it doesn't get lost because I just wanted to get done with this order. She asked me to call back when the status changes to "Delivered" and they would proceed the refund. On April 9 at 6pm, I noticed that the status had been changed to "Picked up by carrier". I thought, okay, now TForce should be able to pull up the tracking number and hold it for me. On April 10, I called Tforce again at 7am to hold it. They said they couldn't because it's already on the way. The only way they could do is to put a note for the driver to read and hold off. Sure enough, my package was delivered at my front door at 8:30am without any phone call from them. I called Sephora according to her instructions and it was picked up by a more senior customer service. I was devastated that they would not be responsible for any loss or stolen package. It's there, then it's there. And there would be no refund. She said no one would promise me that and it was just that they would try to delay the shipment. I tried to explain that I was offered for 2 solutions which was either refund or postponing the shipment. If I knew that there wouldn't be a refund, I would have picked postponing the shipment instead. I asked her if it's my fault and begged for empathy but her response was "Is there anything else I can do for you?". I was just in a Big Big shocked moment. Basically she said that I was lying. I challenge Sephora here to go listen to our conversation and tell me if that customer service used the word "try" or not. It was a FIRM solution she gave to me!! Before excusing someone or protecting your own people, look at yourself first. Everyone, there is no room from Sephora for emergencies or mistakes or changes once you place an order for delivery. I would like to tell my story to everyone at the loudest voice so that no one has to suffer like me. I will still shop at Sephora because I need Dr Dennis products otherwise i would say bye to Sephora forever. I tried my best to be responsible for my order but no help from Sephora at all. Heartless and poor communications within. Their free delivery is useless and very risky. I would never buy anything for delivery from Sephora ever again.
