Korey Hutson was my barber. I didn't like the fact that barbers at Uncle Classic are ranked and…read morepriced differently based on their "skills and experience." From a client's perspective it made me feel I was somehow getting less quality of service from the same brand team. This is not how I should feel when calling for an appointment or information. But, everything happens for a reason. My experience with Korey, however it was decided that he should be paid less, was nothing short from stellar. He just wants to make me look good and carefully analyzes before making his cuts confidently. I am glad we both took a chance on each other and gained valuable perspective about relationships between a stylist and a client. Hopefully, I tipped him enough to express this. I'm not sure an extra $5 bucks up charge would have gotten me a better experience from a "better" stylist or if that amount is worth more than potentially scaring off clients from people like Korey but I have no problem with including that towards his tip instead. Trust your team and trust your talent Uncle!
