This is a fairly typical pub but with lower food prices than all the places over on Marchmont Street. Mostly local, busy after work, but with a strong contingent of Irish ex-pats. Between 5 and 6:30 one evening I heard accents from Down, Donegal, Cork, and Dublin, plus all the native Londoners who work nearby. They were out of three mains (I wanted the ribeye steak but it was a no-go, as well as the pork chops and something else... can't remember). I ordered chicken Kiev with mash and salad. All fairly tasty except for the mash... skip it and get chips instead.
