If you can avoid having to deal with the other employees, you should be able to have a less stressful experience. They are very dismissive, untrained, and tend to give you attitude whenever you need help. I've recently have dealt with an infestation of moths in the unit as well. Upon entry of the building there were a variety of dead bugs in the hallways around certain unit doors. Like I've said, the place has gone downhill at an alarming rate since Mike has left. Never have I had an issue with this location until now.

Access & Security: 24/7 access is available with enrollment but the standard hours were more than…read moresufficient for us. All access is electronically controlled by PIN pads located throughout the building and each locker has a keyed padlock on it. Depending on your locker size you might get an individually monitored unit alarm, ours had it, smaller lockers might not. The entire building has tons of CCTV cameras located throughout and looks very secure against would be burglars. Cleanliness: Even the bathrooms are secured by PIN pad, if that doesn't tell you the place is kept extremely clean then I don't know what will. Everything is immaculate inside the building with the exception of some scuffs and scratches here and there from people recklessly careening through the halls with loading dollys. Price: I hear it already, I can hear the voices of people saying "that place is expensive" SHUT UP! You get what you pay for. If you want top tier storage with high security and climate control to guarantee that your sensitive vinyl record collection and high end computers stay safe during your move you're going to need a company like Safeguard. Bottom line: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! Don't skimp on protecting your stuff if you have high value items. If you're just storing a bunch of boxes of clothes and general housewares you probably don't need a fancy storage provider with climate controlled indoor storage and can go for an outdoor locker. All that said, for what we were storing, records and high value computing and storage arrays along with a plethora of other sensitive electronics it was well worth the extra money knowing our stuff was safely stored under climate controlled lock and key. Location: It's right off the highway which makes it easy to get to with a large truck and their loading dock can accommodate most any truck you can throw at it. Loading Dock: An enclosed loading dock is a nice plus especially when it's suddenly started raining and you want to unload your truck into storage. Unloading dollies are provided and all were in good working order when I was there. Bottom Line: If you are looking for top notch storage this is your place. If you are storing low value items that don't need climate control then you might be better served elsewhere.

Used to put then in bags in the alley for whoever wants and needs to take but oftentimes I find them all messed up, thrown on the ground which defeats my purpose. So off to the donation box it all goes. Wish there were more of the boxes around town. I'd rather drop it off at the box then drive to the Goodwill. Everyone complaining of it being sold etc it's the same thing the Goodwill.and Salvation Army does. But at least I don't have to drive far or wait in line when I'm in a time crunch in a busy week, and don't want to haul bags of stuff in my car for weeks until I am able to go to a Goodwill and don't have the time to list on ebay or marketplace but need closet space at the same time. I think what Gaia is doing is very good. At the end, someone does use the clothes, and they're not thrown around in the alley on the ground where nobody will want them. I could care less for a tax deduction because I'd always forget the slip when tax time comes and plus it don't make much difference anyway. Tried donating to shelters before only to learn that those who work there scavenger the donation and keep what they like/what's newer for themselves instead of giving everything to those at the shelter. If you want to give directly to the homeless then give it to them on the spot. But it's also hard to figure out if the pants size will fit them etc. So when I'm in a time crunch and need to clean out fast, don't want to haul bags of clothes waiting to go to Goodwill and making myself seem like I live in my car with random bags of clothes waiting to be donated, I just drop it off at the Gaia donation box. It's also helpful with the website that gives location of the boxes so if I'm traveling O can easily look up the nearest box. Honestly, think that everyone complaining about the concept of these donation boxes works for Goodwill or Salvation because then they don't get direct donations to sell at the store. Gaia boxes are convenient too being available 24/7 specially when working an odd schedule I can never make it to a Goodwill to drop off. At the end of the day, someone still makes use of the clothes, they don't end up in a landfill and maybe if I don't want to donate such clothes then I'll just not buy anything until my current wardrobe wears out. I don't make a penny from donating to Goodwill either, only the buyer gets to have new clothes, some brand new at a cheap price. But I don't have time for that so I just drop off at Gaia box. I also.like the little projects they have going on, fun stuff, and everything they do on local level at the warehouse to everything being done abroad in the developing countries, environmentally. Keep it up!

First and foremost, I hope nobody has to deal with this ever. However, if you do, please call Billy…read morebecause he is worth every penny and I am sure he charges less pennies than most! About 8 months ago, I started getting hit with the typical bedbug bite pattern. We told our landlord and they hired a pest control company to take care of it. They did an okay job and we seemed to be pest free for 6 months. A couple months ago I began getting bit again and my reaction to the bites started getting way worse. We addressed the issue with the landlord and we're told it was probably just in my head....right, because I'm making up giant welts on my body! So the landlord sends over the pest inspector and he finds nothing again. No surprise, because the depth of his search was so basic I could have done it! So now my wife and I are moving and I'm still getting bit and this is not a problem you want to take with you. I know there is an issue and our landlord won't pay for treatment without confirmation of bugs. So I decide to stop depending on my landlord and call Billy. I talked to both Billy and his wife and he confidence they both had instantly sold me. Plus Billy called me while he was out of town! I was also relieved when they told me in order to prep I had to DO NOTHING. Billy comes over and is simply and amazing human being. He also begins his search and within minutes finds evidence in plain sight the other 'professionals' missed. Billy was thorough and incredibly respectful of our belongings to the point we didn't even feel the need to stick around. Following his inspection and preparation, we had Billy's spray team come by to treat. He stuck around to make sure our things were respected and they were hitting all the right areas hard. This was way more than your average exterminator who simply waves a wand around to treat. At the end of the day, I slept better last night than I have in months. Billy and his wife are great people and they also make sure you understand what's going on so they can be prevented. As I stated, I hope no one goes through this, but if you do, please call Billy! You will not regret it.

The issue was mainly in my elderly father's room and occasionally my other tenant. Unfortunately I had to throw away his wood bed frame. I love how patient Billy and his assistant were with my parents and explained every process. Yes Billy is fast talking lol however some people are who they are. I haven't had an issue since he's treated my units. My advice is to please follow his guidelines and call the minute something reappears during the guarantee period. I was and am thoroughly satisfied and can rest easy now. Hopefully I won't have to use him again but will call in a heartbeat if needed.
