Front desk says no, can't accommodate with a smirk , I said can you explain why no one ever called me back... she stared me down 3. she says "do you want me to reach out to my manager?". ( while intermittently staring at her phone)I said no can you accommodate tomorrow? She says no. I said now reach out to your manager bc I want to know why no one ever called back. 4. Front desk response. I could text her, but I don't want to bother her bc she is sick today and she probably won't text me back. So I am not going to. 5. I said thanks so much for nasty attitude, we will be bringing all of our business somewhere else, she said great. Miss teenager, who I have remained nameless but know her name. Learn your manners in a customer service business and get off your freaking phone.

Waxing the city has a membership if you sign up you get 20% off your selected wax service every month and they just charge your card so all you need to do is pay the tip. I come enough that it's worth it. Back to Tiffany, she is very personable and easy to get along with. She remember details about you which makes you feel even more comfortable very easy to talk to and by the time your done you don't even realize it. I requested a pillow for my back and as you can see in the pictures. I got a stained, disgusting pillow that I had to use for the entire treatment. On top of that, cotton swab I used kept leaving fibers behind on my face, in my mouth; it's just all so gross! The salon was not transparent about their pricing. I got a gift card for Mother's Day, and instead of regular facial, I wanted to go with Hydrafacial instead. The website quoted $175 online, but when I was done, I was told that the prices have increased, and they charged me $200 instead of honoring the price they had online. Mind you not, I still tipped 20% on the service. Finally, they did not have a relaxing experience. The room is right behind their store (Shiseido). The tech kept the figure white light on the entire team, used her iPad to play calming music, and I felt like I was in a football stadium the whole time. She didn't even cover my eyes, and had the light beaming on my face the entire time. The treatment was painful, and that's something that wasn't conveyed before either. Overall I loved Olivia because of the massage she gave me in the end. But overall; the salon did not follow through with what they promised on their website. The treatments and services advertised were vastly different in quality from what was delivered. I would not recommend this salon to anyone looking for a reliable and hygienic facial experience. The best $25 blowout EVER!…read more I love this salon and their policy of only charging $25 for a blowout regardless how long or thick your hair is! Considering some salons want to charge $45 for the same service - I only have been using The Concept Salon since I moved back to New Jersey! I also love the salon's easy online booking system; you can see all available appointments and book whenever you need. The salon is very modern and clean. The receptionists always offer you water or coffee even when they are busy - which in my opinion never goes unnoticed. The stylists all take their time and care about what type of blowout you want- I personally prefer Desiree. The reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because the salon does not allow you to book your blowout with the stylist you want; they give you whoever is available which in my opinion is time consuming. If you have a hair stylist you prefer and want to go to regularly is it beneficial for both parties. The hair stylist will eventually know how the customer likes their blowout, so customers do not have to waste time in the beginning explaining or showing the stylist photos. I would LOVE if the salon allowed customers to book with specific stylists, other that I would highly recommend this salon if you are looking for a blowout.

My leg wax went well and as she was waxing me, I mentioned that I was pretty much due for my next Brazilian, so I'm unsure why I didn't just book it with my leg wax. She mentioned that we had a little extra time in our appointment slot, and she could squeeze it in. Perfect! I ended up going back on another date to get my eyebrows done and that was a pretty good experience as well. Being that I was an avid customer at another wax place before moving to this area, here's a few things I wish I'd Wax That had to offer that I'm accustomed to: - The use of a cooling gel on those really sensitive areas (such as your upper lip) post-wax - Offering packages/bundles of services. For example, being able to get your eyebrows, Brazilian, and legs bundled together at one price with a slight discount for doing them all together - A frequent customer punch card...after a certain amount of visits, you get a discount on your next visit Nevertheless, I think I found my place...at least for now.
