Honestly walking in, it looked like a normal book store until she walked me to the back. Walking through the gate door is where the view changes. I was in awwww! How cool is the set up of this place. I had no clue it was a 2 leveled book store. It was neat looking at the lower level. The shelves prettily speckled with color cause of all the books. I was able to look at all the old school historical books when we were walking in and out. How neat to have so much history on your shelves! We were in a time schedule so I wasn't able to really dig into them. I have seen some pretty neat places while I'm here in SLC for a bit. I'm happy I got to add this book store to that neat list. Everything was priced well too and their service was amazing. What I didn't like was how unorganized the store was. The books were loosely grouped by genre, but that's it. Nothing was in order - everything was just scattered randomly and it made it really tiresome to find something specific. They also didn't have an inventory system to check if they have a specific book. These are REALLY important things to have in a bookstore, but they failed there. The selection was also pretty poor and random. They had some of the big, trending books, but everything else was random or obscure. Overall, I'd recommend going to another used bookstore. This just can't compete with other bookstores in the area and is very lackluster. It's a rural bookstore in a large city.

The first time I visited I chose a passage from one of their Bibles that you can have framed on the spot; I also met Mr. Moon! I cherish this Bible page, and have it mounted in my office. If you're looking to buy reprints of your favorite books or looking to read something new, they have them available at reasonable prices. Every section feels thoughtfully curated into vintage, used, new, special editions. There is truly something for everyone. I instantly fell in love. This was around the time I instituted my "always buy a book in a bookstore" rule and I was looking at a list of books I wanted to read, trying to find books. The clerk asked for my list and immediately started letting me know if they had it and then offering recommendations of other books by the same author if they didn't. I left with three books. Just such a positive experience. A great selection. You won't find all the books you want, but you'll certainly find something worth reading.

Really great prices for even new books. The antique front end is so interesting too, some of the most crazy signed and historical books on Utah there.
