It is a traditional bakery (breads, pastries, etc.) but also have the Vietnamese sandwich! The bread is made on location as well as the various cold cuts so it is very authentic. Not 5 stars because there was no cilantro and I love mine with cilantro. At $5, it is pricier than other places but it is all about supply/demand and still good price point for a full size and filling sandwich. Oh, try the meat pâté chaud too!

She sat us on the second floor...waited at least 10 minutes...no waitress. The hostess came and sat a 5 top next to us. Still no waitress. Sitting in the sun, no water. We came down and told the hostess. We went to the counter to get a coffee and muffin to go...we had to be in P.E.I. by 6 and they made it to where we didn't have time to eat an actual meal. I saw the hostess tell the manager what had happened and she looked and us and she glanced back and continued to clean her counters. Never saying a word. Bad management. Horrible experience.

We had walked past this cute spot and decided to grab take out. We had the tabbouleh salad and gheymeh stew. Both were flavourful and tasted really fresh. The portions are quite big. The salad had a good amount of fine bulgar, which was perfect because I don't like when tabbouleh salad is all parsley! The stew is mainly split yellow peas over rice. There is a grilled eggplant on top as garnish and it was smoky and delicious, I wanted more of that! I would suggest phoning ahead if you want to do take out. They happened to be busy on the Sunday evening that we went, so we had to wait 25 mins. for the order to be prepared. The dining room is small and cute. Do note that it is a little difficult to find the cafe at first because it is a 10 minute drive from downtown and the white exterior blends in a bit with the Inn that it is next to. I arrived mid afternoon on a Saturday so many, but not all, of the baked goods were sold out already, but I did order a Hot Honey Yuzu Tea which was surprisingly REALLY good. I have heard all the trend about it, but never saw a cafe selling it until now. They also sell Korean Tea! I would definitely come back for the baked goods if I was in the area in the future. Definitely their egg tarts! Not quite pictured, but their adjacent room has extra counter and table space for those who want to get some work done or chat with friends. The staff is also super nice and kind and gave me plenty of advice on what they recommend I order. Free tap water and water glasses are also provided at a little table next to the counter. What I love most about this place is that for Fredericton, they provide not only a cafe with an ambiance for getting any work done/nice ambiance to catch up with friends (which I found harder to find in Fredericton and the surrounding areas in New Brunswick), but also their menu stands out, giving me that warm feeling as if I am transported right back home in a big city enjoying my cute cafe experience.
