When we came in, we can smell the bread and see an island of various flavours of ice cream. We decided to go for the Happy Baker Club, and for dessert the staff recommended the favourite: Blueberry Cheesecake tart. The sub was delicious! You can tell the bread is freshly baked just how light and airy the bread is. The garlic aioli hits the spot. The crust on the tart is very thick and sturdy enough to hold the filling in. It's not too crumbly, it's buttery, and the flavours are not too sweet. You can really taste both the cheesecake and blueberry combined. Overall, a delicious lunch! If you're in Fredericton, male sure to stop by at The Happy Baker!

Such a cute cafe!!! Cute cafe vibes! I love how they have so many tables and it is the perfect spot…read moreif you need to get any studying or work done! There is also plenty of parking outside. Do note that it is a little difficult to find the cafe at first because it is a 10 minute drive from downtown and the white exterior blends in a bit with the Inn that it is next to. I arrived mid afternoon on a Saturday so many, but not all, of the baked goods were sold out already, but I did order a Hot Honey Yuzu Tea which was surprisingly REALLY good. I have heard all the trend about it, but never saw a cafe selling it until now. They also sell Korean Tea! I would definitely come back for the baked goods if I was in the area in the future. Definitely their egg tarts! Not quite pictured, but their adjacent room has extra counter and table space for those who want to get some work done or chat with friends. The staff is also super nice and kind and gave me plenty of advice on what they recommend I order. Free tap water and water glasses are also provided at a little table next to the counter. What I love most about this place is that for Fredericton, they provide not only a cafe with an ambiance for getting any work done/nice ambiance to catch up with friends (which I found harder to find in Fredericton and the surrounding areas in New Brunswick), but also their menu stands out, giving me that warm feeling as if I am transported right back home in a big city enjoying my cute cafe experience.

I'll be forthcoming and say that I hate waffles. I ordered the waffles. I LOVED the waffles! My plates came with two meats and two eggs, my fiancee had the same but with crepe instead of waffles. Now I see what a waffle is supposed to taste like! Just sweet enough, caky goodness, moist, and satisfying. The meats were great and the eggs sprinkled with salt and pepper. The owners are so friendly and are happy to mingle with patrons as they are being served. The place is well hidden off the beaten path but is definitely recommended. Coffee is not included but given how good the food was and the value on the plate, I can't bring myself to deduct marks for this. Thanks again to the owners and if we find ourselves in Fredericton again, we will be certain to come back... every morning!
