We decided to go for the Happy Baker Club, and for dessert the staff recommended the favourite: Blueberry Cheesecake tart. The sub was delicious! You can tell the bread is freshly baked just how light and airy the bread is. The garlic aioli hits the spot. The crust on the tart is very thick and sturdy enough to hold the filling in. It's not too crumbly, it's buttery, and the flavours are not too sweet. You can really taste both the cheesecake and blueberry combined. Overall, a delicious lunch! Do note that it is a little difficult to find the cafe at first because it is a 10 minute drive from downtown and the white exterior blends in a bit with the Inn that it is next to. I arrived mid afternoon on a Saturday so many, but not all, of the baked goods were sold out already, but I did order a Hot Honey Yuzu Tea which was surprisingly REALLY good. I have heard all the trend about it, but never saw a cafe selling it until now. They also sell Korean Tea! I would definitely come back for the baked goods if I was in the area in the future. Definitely their egg tarts! Not quite pictured, but their adjacent room has extra counter and table space for those who want to get some work done or chat with friends. The staff is also super nice and kind and gave me plenty of advice on what they recommend I order. Free tap water and water glasses are also provided at a little table next to the counter. What I love most about this place is that for Fredericton, they provide not only a cafe with an ambiance for getting any work done/nice ambiance to catch up with friends (which I found harder to find in Fredericton and the surrounding areas in New Brunswick), but also their menu stands out, giving me that warm feeling as if I am transported right back home in a big city enjoying my cute cafe experience.

In case you were wondering what type of food you can get at "Ethiopean", just look to the name…read more Located in the Northside Farmers' Market (open Saturday and Sunday), Ethiopean is a tiny stand offering a wonderful mix of traditional Ethiopean "stews" and other dishes including beef, chicken, lentils, kale, potatoes and green beans. A 3-combo meal comes with your choice of three of the former, plus two generous portions of injera, the spongy bread used to scoop up the wonderful stews. On this visit, I tried the beef, lentils and kale. The beef was nicely spiced with a rich red/brown sauce, the kale was nicely sauteed to remove the bitter bite and the lentils were creamy. I recommend by-passing the utensils and relying on the injera to act as your spoon. Speaking of the injera, it was soft and held together perfectly to pick up the fillings. If you are looking to try something new in the Fredericton area, make a visit to this market for some authentic Ethiopean!

This bakery makes a variety of baked goods including cupcakes and bars, but they are most known for their (I believe they call them) Korean Milk Cream Donuts. Every day they make it in strawberry, vanilla, and coconut then they have a special flavor of the day. This time, it was chocolate salted caramel. While the donuts are a little pricey ($6 CAD), this bakery is pretty special and stands out from the New Brunswick crowd! No seating inside, and donuts sell out quick! Tip is to call ahead and they are more than happy to set aside donuts for you in the morning. The staff is also very quick and also very kind. The donuts were great! and it's hard to find all these specialty goods in New Brunswick considering how rural the rest of the province is. I'm hoping this review will help get this bakery more on the map since it seems like this area does not use Yelp very much!

We came down and told the hostess. We went to the counter to get a coffee and muffin to go...we had to be in P.E.I. by 6 and they made it to where we didn't have time to eat an actual meal. I saw the hostess tell the manager what had happened and she looked and us and she glanced back and continued to clean her counters. Never saying a word. Bad management. Horrible experience.
