Out of a lots of meals you order, unable to bring main course out at once for all guests (they brought out my meal and my husband was watching me eating, then they brought his meal 10 min later, and I was watching him eating since I finished with mine), extremely poor restaurant ethics, greasy low mediocre food. When owner asked if we are satisfied I brought up these issues and she just walked away. Very poor restaurant service with ordinary low mediocre food. We will not be back. :( read more

While the service was adequate and the ambiance was cool with the Blue Angels memorabilia, the food was subpar. The server said the chili was homemade which may be true, but it was clearly warmed up in a microwave before served to us and was not warmed up long enough. The fried green tomatoes were no better. The breading on them was nonexistent. I definitely would not recommend eating here nor will I come back. read more

Had the pleasure of having lunch here and I highly recommend this place! Our service was a bit slow but we found out it was our servers very first day and she didn't have any training period. We were a group of 9 with children and 3 separate checks and she got everything correct. The owner is a real sweetheart also! I definitely recommend their shrimp and grits with the andouille Sausage and Im a Cajun girl! It was excellent and a very generous portion! Do yourself a favor and make this a must stop at on your next trip to Pensacola!! read more

The place was dead we ordered drinks and the bartender had to ask someone else how to make my wife drink. Her blended drink was all ice no liquid. I ordered a draft beer and it came out in a can. The time to take our order took some time but decided on two meals red fin with shrimp and wife ordered some kind of pasta with shrimp. It took forever for the food to come out, both meals shrimp reeked and taste was awful. We send both orders back. I would not recommend this place to no one. read more

We ate there yesterday afternoon and I would definately NOT recommend this place. We started with an appetizer of loaded fries, took over 45 minutes to get the order and that was after asking our waitress twice about the order. We had 3 burgers, 2 appetizers, 3 glasses of iced tea and our check was $89. None of the orders came out correctly, had to ask for lettuce, tomatoe, and onions, for one burger that showed on the menu to come with all of that. Then had to ask twice for mayonnaise and ketchup, one burger was brought out without the onion rings that were ordered with it and we were told the onion rings would be right out....we got those when I asked about them as we were asking for to go boxes. I am not sure how this place stays in business with the lack of service and only mediocre food at best. The only thing going for the entire visit was some of the cool decor that they had. read more

The burgers here are the bomb! All the different combos keep us coming back. Service has always been great and with a smile. One of our favs to visit. read more

This was either one of the worst nights for this restaurant or I'm one of the unluckiest people in the world.... First I found someone's pre-chewed steak in my root beer, then we were served cold under cooked broccoli as well as the mashed potatoes... Then I was given a butter knife to cut my steak? At least we were almost finished with our meal when they decided that hearing ourselves chew was a much better idea than the music that was playing that abruptly ended. Please if you are the owner of this establishment do everyone in the town of Milton a favor and close your fucking doors... or maybe hire people or pay them correctly to do a quality job.. PS thank you so much for not taking one thing off of the check as well. You truly left the warm spot in our heart ...You're Aces read more

No no no no no!!!! My wife and i will never go back. We were hoping this place would have been sooooo much better than Nicol's. Wrong. We pulled up and the parking lot was packed. We thought, "it has to be good". We went in to the hostess. She said it would be 10-15 minutes to be seated. We waited. People that came in after us were seated before us. At 6:15 our my name and another name was called. Weeeeeeeeell, right in front of everybody, the hostess asked us if we could sit at a table this this other couple. They put us on the spot but i didn't have a problem saying "no". Not ideal for a date night for either couple. They took the other couple and seated them even though we were there before them. 5 minutes later, we were seated. I looked around the room and there were a lot of people with their jackets on holding menus. It was cold in the back room and no staff were around (see photo). We sat for 15 minutes before a waitress came and asked us for our drinks. She didn't have a smile or a name. She didn't introduce herself. We ordered the fried green tomatos. Another 15 minutes went by before she came and took our order. 10 minutes went by and my salad came out before the appetizer. Another lady came walking around and asked if we had ordered steaks. I don't think they knew which table ordered them. I told her "no". 5 minutes later our appetizer finally arrived. Then a third lady walked over and put steaks in front of my wife and i. I told her tr they weren't ours. She picked them up and went table to table asking everybody again. The steaks belonged to the table next to us and they dropped them off there. The guy ate his steak but the woman did not. Either something was wrong with or she didn't want to eat it after being placed in front of us. She had the waitress remive it from tgeir bill. At the hour mark, still no food. At the hour and fifteen mark, still no food. Finally, i got up to tell the hostess that we were leaving because again there were no staff members around. The hostess, as well, was no where to be found. I called my wife over and we walked out. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!!!!!! read more

This was our first time going, after hearing good reviews about it. We were all pleased with our meal. Our server was patient, helpful and always available. The atmosphere was quant and full of flare. read more

Atmosphere is very nice. Lots of Air Force memorabilia. Food was very good. I enjoyed the chicken salad, hubby liked his party melt and daughter found the grilled chicken tasty. Service is slow. Friendly but slow. They haven't been open long so may still have issues in the kitchen. We will give it another try. read more

Great for basics. We ordered sandwiches that were difficult for anyone to mess up. Tasted fine. Super empty inside which isn't the restaurant's fault but definitely made the experience feel strange. Love the idea of a Navy-themed restaurant since we're a military family, but definitely could be updated to reflect current personnel. read more

This place was so good and it was a lot of fun! Since everyone has to stay away from others and everything is pretty much closed and no one can go anywhere due to the coronavirus, The Hangar has a drive-in movie weekend and it was so much fun! The service was a solid 11/10 and the food was really good! We got a performance from Chloe Channell and me and my husband got 2 free shirts because we just got married. they even made an announcement to everyone that we just got married and everything was just so great. we will definitely be going back! read more

The Hangar - A worker there asked to take our picture for us so here it is! :) - American Near Me - Milton, Florida

We always like trying out new places and the military theme had us excited to stop in. It was cool to see all of the patches and memorabilia but that is where the excitement stopped. We ate at the Sunday brunch. Y wife had the shrimp plate with home fries and I had an omelet withe home fries. We had 2 sodas and an app of pretzel bites and cheese. The bill was over $60. I understand inflation but that is ridiculous and criminal. Needless to say we will never return to this place. There are much netter places in the area with better food and better pricing. Save your money and visit the air museums in pensacola if you want to see military history. read more

We're staying in Milton for the weekend and The Hanger caught our eye so we decided to try it out. We loved the theme and decor of the restaurant. My husband and I both ordered the sirloin steak. Unfortunately, it wasn't anything spectacular. It was very tough but did have decent flavor. The sides we had were a salad, mashed potatoes, and fries and we had no complaints with any of that. Our waitress, Brianna, was absolutely amazing. She was very attentive to our needs and had the sweetest personality. Overall we had a good experience and would be willing to give it a second try when we're in the area. read more

We really enjoyed our lunch. Tammy, our waitress, was extremely friendly. She explained the specials and made recommendations. She was very good. The food was good as well. The decor was cool. There were models of airplanes dangling around. It was our first time there and when we left we told ourselves we'll definitely have to go back. My husband had the shepherds pie. He said it was good. I had the rueben sandwich with jalapeño creamed corn. Delicious! We highly recommend read more

The food is pretty good!! But they charged $10 for a shot of jack. Crazy!! You could buy a whole bottle for the price of a couple shots here. read more

We really loved the Chicken Pot Pie. The service was exceptional and they really made you feel like part of the family. Highly recommended!

We were very intrigued by the name and helicopter out front. We decided the next time we went out to eat, we would give it a try. OMG that was the best decision we ever made. The food was outstanding, the owner took our order and did the cooking which was the best ever. After the most delicious meal, we checked out all of the artifacts. Must give it a try. read more

Everything I have got here was amazing. They are a mom and pop restaurant that honor military and believe in god. Idk how there is a bad review read more

Really glad we stopped in here. We ordered pretty much everything (very hungry) and ALL of it was delicious! We recommend the stuffed Mushrooms, Chicken Pot pie and the Jambalaya (and the desserts!). The staff were excellent, friendly and attentive. You could tell everything was cooked with care. The place was clean, the food and service was fast. Loved it, wish we could come here every day! read more

I've been there several times. I always get great service and I love their cheeseburgers.

Absolutely delicious, great selection of foods with something for everyone. Staff and owner are incredibly friendly. The name definitely describes the establishment, when you walk in tons of airplane and military memorabilia. Pot roast was delicious and burgers perfectly cooked. Would absolutely bring friends here again! read more

Stopped in here for an early meal on a Sunday evening. We had the potato skins for an appetizer. They were not too bad but lacked flavor. Maybe more seasoning or ranch dressing would've helped? The Prime Rib was flavorful and done as requested. The jalapeño corn was tasty. And the mac-n-cheese was creamy. The chicken tender and the Hawaii burger were acceptable options. The service was attentive and brought regular drink refills which were appreciated. read more

Don't go. The workers are nice but not well trained, they don't speak with confidence to us or about the food. The food is over priced for average quality. I expected more for the price! Go to Dickey's if you want brisket or pulled pork and sides with flavor for a fair price! The manager came to visit our table twice which seemed a bit overkill but fitting since we were like 1/10 families there. We enjoyed our Mac and cheese and the fries were ok but our brisket and pulled pork sandwiches were not flavorful and tasted too much like a crock pot meal vs a nice smockey bbq. I only ate 1/2 of mine and my husband didnt want to eat his either but did. The decor was fun but a tad random in its lack of cohesion. We won't be back. Too bad, it's a beautiful building! read more

The Hangar - Not so epic. Unless this sign is referring to my man, then yes, he is. - American Near Me - Milton, Florida

An amazing local restaurant with an excellent menu. Seafood, steaks and chicken. They have an extensive lunch and dinner menu that is always available. Milton/Pace has a great family run restaurant and it is, "The Hangar". Give them a try, you will not be disappointed. Hours are 11:00 am to 9:00 pm. Closed Wednesday. read more

Absolutely an amazing place for food and customer service. Owners are fantastic people whose son is currently in the Marines as a pilot which is why resteraunt is named The Hangar. King Air chicken is amazing. I am looking forward to coming back again soon. read more

Our waitress Tammy was great! Made recommendations on the specials of the day - I had the special brisket (not on the menu) and my wife had the pot roast with the best carrots and mashed potatoes! We split a slice of the key lime pie. Everything was great and we'll be back soon! read more

The food was super good and the staff was very friendly! We will be back for sure probably the best restaurant in the Milton area

Over priced generic food. Food came out room temperature and little to no flavor. When asked if they could re heat my meal the wait staff acted like I asked them to preform a miracle. Won't ever go back.! read more

The atmosphere is great but the service and food are not. The place wasn't crowded when we arrived but the waitress seemed very confused. She brought out the wrong drink and gave it to someone else then gave it to me when they told her they ordered tea. I thought that was fine but that was also just the beginning. I ordered the black and bleu cheeseburger with Mac and cheese $13.99 ($1 up-charge for Mac) and even though it wasn't crowded, it took 45 minutes for my food to come out. It looked amazing but wasn't even the slightest bit warm, it was room temperature/ borderline cold and there was little to no seasoning and it was just a waste. The Mac was probably good when it was warm but I'll never know. $20 after tip but I could have had a better and cheaper experience at a drive thru. We will not be returning. read more

Went with a large group. Everyone bragged about their meal. I heard great reviews about the beef stroganoff, the pot roast, the shrimp and grits, chicken fingers and all the burgers. One of the owners makes all the sauces and dressings and everyone raved a out those too. I had the Hawaiian Burger and it was awesome. The staff was very friendly and enjoyable. It really was great! Everyone in our group loved it from 14 to 40...something. read more

Good food, good servers. Price is ok. I wish the desert menu was a little larger. They have live music sometimes with people who have actual talent. It's loud in that room so I sit in the adjoining room to enjoy conversation and my food. Prime rib is OK, nothing to scream about. Place is good for family , dates or just to have a solo meal. I'll rep coming. read more

Then..Nichols. Now..The Hangar We tried Nichols some months back and were pleased with the seafood dishes. The cheese grits as a side was a hit. Fast forward to The Hangar. Stopped in for late lunch. Same friendly owners. New name. Updated decor. Revised menu. Our waitress took her time to take our simple drink order and took forever to bring them. She disappeared quite often. This in itself is why the 3 star rating. We tried the chicken pot pie. It was very good. Spouse enjoyed the creamed corn. Broccoli was not hot and had to go back. You are a pork lover, you'll do fine, but if you dont partake, you dont get to chow on the greens or green beans. If we go back, we'll go for dinner and ask for the best waitress there, Dakota. She is the bomb for service!! Good thing we aren't food critics. read more

This was our first time. The kids loved the theme. We really liked the prime rib, jalapeno corn, Caesar salad, and bread pudding. The mac and cheese and au gratin potatoes weren't that great though. Out on a day trip with the wife and stopped for lunch. We were actually aiming for the "Pork and Spoon" next door but the sign on the door says their closed for renovations.
