The prices are a little higher than what I would normally pay to thrift, but they had some cool items (lots of denim) and friendly staff. I didn't get anything this time, but it's the kind of place you'll want to come back to for a more thorough lay of the land. The shop itself seems to be an anomaly on the street: threadbare antique rugs on the floor, creaky, well-worn original floorboards and a tall, tin-plated ceiling all harken back to an older time. And the soothing sounds of Ray Charles play out of the vintage stereo as you shop. The selection of clothing is unlike any other store in the city. You get the impression you're in a high-end vintage store in Brooklyn or Manhattan. But without the New York City price tags. Everything seems to be excellently curated by the owner, Mahro, who is so knowledgeable about the history of clothing, and of each piece. She'll tell you straight up if something does or does not suit you. Every item is well priced and extremely well presented. Overall, this is an excellent vintage store, with plenty of goodies for both women and men.

So yeah, we found tons of awesome things, but they weren't cheap. But I have to say, it's clean, well organized, and the staff are friendly and very helpful. The store is packed with everything you could think of from old magazines, VHS tapes, vintage clothes (including an OJ Simpson jersey I regret not snagging), CDs, old jewelry, records, and a thousand other little knick-knacks and do-dads you would expect to find at a little antique shop. The store is two levels and features a few different rooms full of stuff to sort through. Sadly, I didn't find anything today that caught my eye but this is definitely the type of store that fills up with new merchandise weekly. I will definitely be making sure to stop in at least once a month to see what new stuff has entered the store!

The shop is big with lots of room and mirrors so there's no claustrophobic feeling that you get in many of the other jam packed vintage shops. Lisa was amazingly vibrant and helpful and after trying on every Jacket on the rack I whittled it down to two. I bought both. Very pleased. Great selection of quality vintage goods.
