My hair grows very fast and it's relatively short, so I need regular cuts or trims. I read the reviews of Marilyn's Hair Salon which is only 5 minutes from my home, here in Pinellas Point. Customers seemed extremely pleased with the equality of the services they received, and prices were reasonable. I decided to try it. They responded very quickly to my online request for an appointment in which I briefly described what I wanted to do with my short shag. I was able to get an appointment almost immediately, so that was encouraging. The salon itself is airy, light and has very good air filtering. There were no smells of the various chemical processes that are done to hair, which is great since I was having bright blue highlights put in my grey hair and a trim (because I'd gotten so desperate, I'd cut my own hair, which of course wasn't very evenly done because I can't see the back of my head!). Not only did she give me beautiful, rich highlights, she even did it with an ombré effect! She went way beyond what I'd asked for and it's awesome! I'm so happy to have found Marilyn's Hair Salon!! They specialize in Dominican hair and styles, but they were completely expert working on my baby fine, slightly wavy, white girl's hair. This is a top notch salon. My hair has cowlicks and a high hairline, but they made my hair look exactly like I like it. And the owner & hair stylists are all so friendly & nice, I felt very at home there. What a find! I'll be seeing them every couple of months for touch ups and trims. I am SO happy to have found a great salon, with good prices, and nice people. Perfect!
