Everyone there is so friendly and they make you feel very comfortable. Last weekend I had a hair and makeup trial with Erin for my upcoming wedding. Both my hair and my makeup exceeded my expectations. I will be using her for my wedding in January and coming back for a charity gala in May. Today I got a haircut by Erin. Wow! My hair looks and feels fabulous and healthy. Erin has an eye for getting the cut just right. Definitely recommend The Loft Salon for special occasion hair and makeup as well as hair cuts. Check out Erin - she is great! Also, the prices here are great for the neighborhood where there are super pricey salons all around but you definitely are not missing out on quality.

It was definitely the best value in Uptown and did not disappoint! The Loft was great about booking appointments - easy to email them at info@theloft-salon.com and they were very responsive in finding a time that worked. They did a good job of sending reminders as well. The salon is clean and sleek. I was immediately offered a beverage (water, coffee, wine) when I arrived. Lexi cut my hair, and she was *great*. She made it very collaborative in determining what to do. She was very professional and showed me how I can easily style my bangs. The haircut was $45 and definitely worth it! I will be back.

I told her exactly what I wanted (which included getting rid of my part - something I've asked multiple stylists to do, but Leanne was the first to actually do it and do it well, she did!) I truly came out with a perfect haircut and it also helps that talking to Leanne is like talking to someone you've known your whole life. The salon also had a wonderful atmosphere. It was chic but not snobby, and cool without being overtly hipster. Also who doesn't want to lie down while having their hair washed? I almost fell asleep I was so relaxed. Would I go again? Hell yes. Would I go somewhere else? Likely not. 5/5. Could not recommend higher

I had neglected my hair for months and wanted a cut from a master stylist. I got a shirt tail recommendation for this salon so booked. Courtney couldn't have been more welcoming or gracious. It appeared she listened. While I gave her carte blanche on the cut, I told her about certain hair characteristics I have. I stressed in particular that I need the weight kept on the top/outer layer of my hair or it would flip up on the ends. I also explained that my hair holds water and takes forever to dry so styling typically doesn't last. Refer to picture from next day. I expected more from the experience. Sadly, I can't recommend Bespoke for that reason.

I paid $400 to get something I specifically said I didn't want…read more I've been going to JUUT salons over the past couple of years for all kinds of services. I've only had great experiences, but they were at another location. When I moved to a different part of the cities this was the closest salon. I trusted them, and made sure to pick a stylist that had years of experiene doing a type of coloring that I hoped to get. I brought almost a dozen photo references, including photos of what I didn't want that I've had in the past. I was very clear on what I wanted and didn't, but the stylist seemed annoyed. She didn't even look at the photos. Several times through the service I voiced my concerns that I wasn't liking how it was turning out, but she kept reassuring me that it would look great. She was super rough brushing and blowdrying that it hurt, and the result looked exactly like my "do not" photos. I wanted ombre, but got chunky, streaky highlights that stopped an inch from my roots. They weren't blended or even symmetrical. They were copper yellow, not brunette. I told her I didn't like it and that it didn't look like the photos, and she argued with me that it did, that I shouldn't have tried this when my hair was colored previously (6 months prior), and in fact she loved it. I asked if it could be fixed, and she said I could only do another gloss but that wouldn't turn out well. I was so disappointed and discouraged. I'm not usually one to speak up, but I was so upset about the color and it was so expensive I had to. I cried in the car! When I called back, I felt like I wasn't being listened to, was argued with, and made to feel stupid like I didn't know what I was looking at. I went through several people up the chain before someone agreed to fix it. She was able to squeeze me in the next day, and was so caring and gentle I almost forgot the day before. But she only had time to blend it out and tone it down so it didn't look like I did it myself. So while they did fix it, I am hesitant to go back. I know everyone has bad days and mistakes happen, but how can a senior stylist who says they specialize in something do so poorly and then argue with me when I said I didn't like it? It was like I was being gaslit to not trust what my eyes saw.

The shop decoration has a lot of enjoyable details while everything stay in a Minimal style. The Service I got, is one of the best I got around the twin cities, I used to get my hair cut at uptown Minneapolis, but those real high end shops provide no better service I got from here. I have choices of beverage when I walking in. And the shampooing process is great! The most satisfying part is the haircut. Im a guy, And I will say that I finally find a stylist who can understand what I want, and can tell me confidently: "well, I think you will look great in this style." Instead of Barbers from uptown who always, almost must ask me: "what do I want?" And plus most of the barbers/stylists have no idea how to deal with my dark, firm hairs. However, I got great haircut here. The price is alright. A little up there, however, in my opinion, it's really worth the service I got at here. And I'll said compare to the salon/ barber shop at uptown MPLS, all cost the same, but I prefer this one, for sure will come back! And thank you so much!
