The barbershop is clean, inviting, and has a great vibe. There's very little wait time, the chairs are super comfortable, and the magazines are up to date. They even have small games available for customers to enjoy while they wait. In the heat of summer, the shop stays cool and comfortable, and in the cold of winter, it's warm and cozy. All the barbers are friendly, and the steady stream of regular customers says a lot about the quality of their work. Parking has never been an issue either, and they have handicapped parking available. Our barber, Raven Baker, is absolutely top-notch--both highly skilled and incredibly attentive. The haircuts she gave us were exactly what my brother Tim and I wanted. But beyond being a great barber, Raven is also wonderfully personable. She takes time to understand our preferences, offers helpful advice, and makes the whole experience enjoyable. She's very patient with both of us, and we always leave feeling like valued customers. Some places had a decent barber but the atmosphere (cursing, inappropriate music for kids, etc.) was not good. Other places had barbers who showed up 30 minutes late for a scheduled appointment. I was actually driving my kids 2 hours to have their hair cut by the barber we used in Huntsville. I happened to be on StyleSeat when I found Jonathan at My Brother's Barber. I liked some of the pictures he has posted so I decided to give him a try. He's a good barber and he generally adheres to his schedule. I love that I can schedule appointments for my boys and husband through StyleSeat and not have to worry with calling. His prices are reasonable and the atmosphere of the shop is pleasant. I don't have to worry about my kids hearing inappropriate language or stories. My boys love their haircuts when we leave, which is important to me.
