I always fall a little more in love with a place when they take your coffee orders as they sit you - seriously swoon at this. So straight off the bat, big tens for the staff - they can do no wrong now .. and to our delight, they didn't. They were thorough with our orders, just the right amount of friendly throwing in some classic one liners and just really pleasant ... a smile when taking your order does wonders to your soul !!! OK so aesthetically speaking, Huskisson in general seems like they may have missed the memo that it's no longer '87 - the one strip of shops all resembling a by-gone era with that awful blue balustrade thing going on out the front - you guys know the one - and that's a shame because some of these restaurant fit outs are right on trend. This café is cool, so cool it surpasses coolness and ends up well into supercoolness. The artwork in here is everything - the major one is the front grill of maybe a chevy (that's the only car I know that closely resembles what I saw) .. the kicker? They're all for sale too. The tall tables are a knockout too - legs made of pipes ...and my favourite subject - lighting - Edison globes all day son!!! My life, where do I start with the food - egg, bacon brioche roll, pancakes with lemon curd and pistachio praline ricotta - WHAT ??? Bircher museli with honey labna - STOP... Just stop. I can only speak of the muesli and it was great - a tad sweet, but the labna was well tart so a good balance there. There's a load of other options too so if you want a great coffee and feed and feeling rather generous, support a local, head down here, order your grub and buy a print. Simple.

Delightful, delicious flavors with lots of homemade love. Will definitely visit again if I pass through town. Lots of locals ordered takeaway (at least 7 orders within an hour) and a few tourists ate inside. + tom kha soup: serving could be split between 1-2 people. Each spoonful had more and more flavor and spice. Loved that the chef didn't go light on veggies. My favorite part of the meal was this soup. + pad see lew: perfect balance of flavors and great elasticity of noodles. Heavy amounts of veggies and chicken which was perfect. Serving was huge and could be split between 2. + mild curry and rice: curry was okay. Least favorite part of the meal. An order of rice easily serves two as well. - waiting time: took a very long time to get our order (35 minutes or so). Seemed like dishes were made one by one. We ordered right after another table and they got their food 20 mins before us. One person who ordered takeaway waited 30 mins for her meal and seemed flustered. Despite the long waiting time, it's worth it. Adorable, reasonable prices. Friendly waitress. Well visited by locals.

It looked good and reasonably priced so I came in. The restaurant is not large, about a dozen tables. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. They serve a few different wines and beers along with their food offerings. The menu is fairly simple and features Thai classics including curry dishes and fried rice dishes. The curry dishes looked tasty; I think they had 4 different kinds of curry available, each with a detailed description. They were out of the type I initially asked for but I'm not picky so I went with another variety. The curry can be paired with a variety of proteins or just veggies. If you get a curry, make sure you get a side of jasmine rice to pair with it. Overall the meal was very tasty and I was totally stuffed! Paired with a cold beer I couldn't ask for more. Great food for a great price.
