The Gun Crew took a rifle in on consignment and posted it on an auction site with no reserve price. They listed the gun with 3 magazines. These magazines are $35 a piece. I bought the gun for $765 under MSRP. They shipped it to my FFL dealer and I picked the gun up. I saw there was only 1 magazine with the gun but didn't sweat it because I thought they would make it right. I called them and told them the issue. They said they made a mistake and there was only 1 magazine. He offered to send me a shipping label and they would offer me a full refund. I told them I didn't want that and just wanted the gun and magazines that I bought, as they had listed it. They said they didn't have them and couldn't get them. I told them they had access to the internet and the magazines were in stock on all of the websites I checked. I told them it was not fair that I should be out money for my FFL transfer fees just because they made a mistake. These guys offered to pay my FFL fees and to pay shipping for me to send the gun back. I told them I already shot the gun and did not want to send it back to them. They were willing to be out over $100 just so they could get the gun back and then resell it for more (probably could make another $300 on it). I even offered to meet in the middle and take one magazine. They again refused. They only wanted to get the gun back so they could resell the gun and make more money on it. Very disappointing they would not do the right thing. They just wanted to leverage their mistake to make more money. When I pointed all this out the gun on the other line got real quiet and didn't even refute it. I really expect more from a gun dealer. I just wanted to rifle and magazines that were listed in the auction. This is the "cost of doing business" for these guys. If the business makes a mistake then they have to eat the cost, not the buyer/customer. read more

wow I put a $2000 gun on layaway and made payments. $400 left and they didn't even call me to tell me a payment was due. They purposely didn't call me to keep the $$ or I would have paid it off. So they stole $1600. what a pathetic biz. I've bought over a hundred guns and I've never had a company do this to me. talk about pathetic, $1600 for doing nothing. stay far away from these crooks. let's just say your not in there best interest. but they will take your $$ no problem! losers!!!! read more

Tracked my old service pistol down and found out they had it. Told them the serial number (old old gen 2 glock 17) and physically described the gun to them. Told them it was my old service pistol and wanted to buy it back from them. They said they wanted $650 for it. I tried to ask them to come down a little as police trade ins go for 375 and less. They would not budge and did not care I used to carry it. They said, "that's what they go for." I call BS, they are all over gun broker for 325-350 but because it had sentimental value to me I begrudgingly paid the price. If a beaten up gen 2 with scratches and gouges, and the blueing coming off goes for that much I wonder what a brand new one goes for. The gun is beaten to hell, but it's my old gun. Still has the carbon from the last time I qualified with it. Definitely won't do business again. Best of luck to those who do. read more

Did layaway on a firearm about a year ago with these guys. It was a $2k gun I Put down half and was going to pay it off a few weeks later. Unfortunately I laid off from my job before I could and went a couple days passed the due date so I called and asked if they could give me a chance to pay it off as I had the money ready. Then they said the only way they'd let me pay it off is if I buy $600 in magazines from them. Or else they were going to cancel the layaway and keep my money. I literally told them I lost my job and was waiting to start my new job in a few weeks. And they want to leech more money out of me. Needless to say I let the layaway forfeit. I ended up buying the gun a couple months later from a seller on gunbroker for a better deal. Even though I lost $1k with the gun crew I wasnt going to let myself be extorted for $600 from some hick gun shop in Tennessee. Go elsewhere plus they're overpriced read more

I just purchased a SP5K from them, I see the bad reviews, but for me, they were perfect. Thier layaway option is outstanding, allowing you to get some of the nicer firearms because you can keep it on layaway for as long as you need. Price goes up every month 3% but for somebody like me who wants nice firearms but can't dish out 3 to 4k at a pop, this works great, I dont mind the interest, it is only fair. They picked up the phone every time I called, when I paid off this week on Tuesday, firearm was in my hands in 2 days. I've bought from other places where they took weeks to ship my firearm out. 5 stars and I WILL be purchasing from them again, most likely very soon. read more

Great local spot to grab ammo for a slight mark up (they need to make their money too) again I'm only taking $1-2 on 20- 50 round packs but it beats waiting 3-6 weeks when you order ammo from anywhere online.
