The guitar is equipped with a Fishman pre-amp system and I did not want to risk damaging the wire connections of this rather expensive system to the jack. It's not the same today, technology and the economy taking society away from live bands, but I see Thorold Music as finding a nice balance to keep the love alive, enough to make me leave my home town of Welland to make it there.
