After the fact, I still decided to start lessons with Ian however, I changed my mind a week later and called - letting them know that I was willing to cancel my appointment a week prior. All was fine but, I was charged for 4 lessons! Without going to any of them - when I called back the female receptionist picked up and she was outrageously rude and told me that I was lying to her in regards to already cancelling my lesson with Ian. After being accused and still speaking calmly to her I was told that 'Ian has been a teacher longer than I've been alive'. And after screaming + ranting on how I am making a big mistake with not continuing my lessons (which I never started) she cut the phone on me without my refund being issued. I had to call the bank and put in a dispute due to their fraudulent activities. Deeply disappointed with this company of abusing their 'power' and 'name'. When I saw the reviews I decided to ignore them but to my dismay it bit me in the back. Please do not go to this academy they are very unprofessional and egotistical. The way I was spoken to and how I was treated was completely abysmal especially because all I wanted to do was cancel my appointment. In turn: called a liar, was lied to, shouted out, and disrespected and they falsely charged me for 4 lessons before I had my supposed 'first' lesson. If I could rate them zero stars I would.

Most of these piano teachers are in high school and most of them don't play piano as their primary instrument. Make sure you interview the teacher thoroughly during the trial session before you decide whether or not you want to spend your money here. Things to note: RCM registered does not mean RCM cerified. It takes 15 min. for a person to sign up to be in the RCM registry, while it takes up to 15 years for a person to be a RCM ARCT teacher. I'm taking my money elsewhere. Bye Synergy.

I've been with my current piano teacher for so many years. I'm also learning cello as a secondary instrument and Synergy is nice enough to give discounted rates for learning multiple instruments. The teachers are young (between high school to university ages) which is why I'm really able to open up to them, not only just about music, but about school and life. All these teachers are really skilled, I've seen them perform throughout the years in past recitals. The theory aspect included in my lessons are a plus.

The lady in charge, Cristina Amalia Dina, can teach any dance, either American or international style; and she is assisted by another lady who also knows her stuff. The guests can request particular dances (e.g. fox trot, west coast swing) and the music will be provided. I remember one occasion when we practiced five different dances in the space of one hour. When I leave Dance Art I always feel happier. But don't take it from me! Try Dance Art for yourself and you won't be disappointed. P.S. Age is no barrier. I first took dance lessons when I was 81; now I am 90 and looking forward to more dancing after the pandemic.

The dancers themselves were ok. I was furious and they only gave us back half the money. I honestly would have given them the full amount to stay home. Yes, it was that bad.

From the start, she collaborated with us to weave our eight-years-in-the-making playlist into the night, and she completely nailed it. Every song hit perfectly, the transitions were seamless, and her MC'ing kept the energy high and the flow effortless. We lost count of how many guests came up to tell us how incredible the music was -- and they were right! The vibe, the pacing, the way she read the crowd... it couldn't have been more us. If you're looking for a DJ who can mix talent, intuition, and pure fun -- Lucie's the one. We can't wait to dance to her beats again, hopefully during Pride season 2026! -- Drew & Jared

We booked with her and then met up a few months later in person to discuss our musical tastes. She TOTALLY "got us" and our vibe and made some great suggestions on what to play, including introducing us to Lizzo. After meeting with her in person, we felt so excited to dance at our wedding! Day of, working with Lucie was perfect. She set up equipment outside for our ceremony and inside for cocktail hour. She is a total professional, which was especially evident when we noticed that our processional song was running out before we walked down the aisle (our coordinator mis-timed it) and Lucie seemlessly looped the song back. We also had Lucie take on some of the MC skills and she was awesome, not to mention very understanding when it came to all of my last minute emails beforehand. When it came to the actual dance floor it was amazing, I actually never left the dance floor! Our friends are still talking about the awesome playlist, and the older crowd too!  We had so much on our minds day of and it was amazing that Lucie set everything up/tore down and did everything so perfectly that we didn't even need to think about it! I definitely had some "wedding vendor regret" and Dialed in DJs was NOT one of them. Lucie was friendly, professional, up beat, and I highly recommend her! Thanks Lucie!
