The ambiance is dark and decorated with red accents and booths. You can opt to get a couch for bigger parties. They have lamps on the table and you change the light to let your server know you need them. They copycat the Improv on two items minimum per person. Drinks are a bit on the pricey side. The Henny-Rita cocktail is delicious and I could actually taste the Hennessy. Bottles of water are priced decently. My server he was polite and friendly. Sometimes I feel these places can nickel and dime you. They automatically had gratuity to your bill. Please NOTE: The bands tend to start late. Overall if you want to hear some good music and be entertained. Then this a great place to start the night. The crowd does change from grown and sexy to young and fun. I will return and come back a few times a year for live music performances. I give them a 3.5 for the whole vibe and visit. Since I can't give them a half star. I will push it to a 4 star. My drink was good, service pretty good and music was great.

What a great place for an intimate concert or music event! I saw David Archuleta in the Cambridge…read moreroom, and I was the first one that I have been to a concert in this specific side room of the house of blues. It was small, intimate, and super fun! Everyone was super respectful about personal space, In the audio was fantastic. There was a much table outside of the room as well as a small one right when you enter the room. This stage was rather small, but it also allowed the audience to see the performers pretty close up. David was super super talented. The two dancers that he had on stage also was a great addition to his vocals. Band was also really good. It was also pretty easy to get an Uber when the concert finished. We definitely recommend seeing one of your favorite artist here, especially since it's such an intimate venue compared to big stadiums in arenas

HOB is always very chilly inside and this was no exception. The decor is very nice and since it's small you always have a good view. Only 2 things I did not like. 15 dollars for a canned beer is outrageous. Shots of good alcohol were cheaper at 12.99. The bartender was less than pleasent and very crusty. Then with the show still going on she was closing down the bar. It was before 11pm and people were still wanting drinks. I would live to go here again though just for the room and the sound

I discovered Good Vibes a few months ago. It's a mile from work. On my 2nd visit, the bartenders…read moreremembered my name and asked if I wanted the same drink I had the week before. That was extremely impressive. Can't beat the drink prices despite the drinks being well made. This afternoon was my 3rd time ordering food. I've had the hamburger with onion rings, chicken nachos, and beef tacos. All were fresh tasting and simply superb. I'm surprised at the price of the tacos since they were DELICIOUS. Karaoke every Tuesday and Thursday, although, I've only stayed late enough to catch the beginning twice. However, I noticed that Karaoke on that one Thursday brought in a crowd. The dart board is a plus, but they need new darts. There are three pool tables. I've not experienced Good Vibes on a weekend yet, but the owner introduced himself to me today. (I asked if he was the owner when he checked on me to see if I needed anything. Very personable. He told me that the live bands (usually country) that were a norm during the week, will only play weekends after this week. Pity, because every band I've heard has performed quite well. I really really like this place. Special recognition to the bartenders Ms. FeFe, Mr. Anthony, and Mr. Aaron and to Mr. Ray who prepared my tacos. This is a smoking establishment. For nonsmokers, that might be a con. Since I smoke, it's a pro.

Super causal bar/night club with live music that charges $10 for admission (go through the…read morerestaurant side). We stumbled in there on a Friday night when Mars Hill was playing. Not knowing what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised. Mars Hill is a killer band who plays anything from the Temptations to Prince and Sir Mix-a-Lot to Chris Stapleton. The female lead singer was the rocker, male lead singer was the country star, and the trumpet player, saxophonist, and trombonist each rapped! What?! The guitar player killed it as well. There's a small strip of "dance floor" space where plenty of people were dancing all night. There's reentry so feel free to come and go as you please. I believe you can also bring food from next door into the bar. There are over 10 small tables you can gather around for a close up of the band. Our server was really nice and quick. The only questionable thing was that we ordered four Old-Fashioned, one Shiner, and three shots totalling $120. I think that's pretty hefty for a casual joint. I heard they play jazz only on Mondays. We'll have to check that out soon!

We went from my birthday after the first lounge we went to disappointed in the music. This place did not disappoint. The bands on Friday night was eclectic and fun playing hits from the 70s, all the way through the 2000s! The crowd was equally eclectic, but there was no judgment, lots of fun and plenty of dancing and singing along. The place is small, tiny and divey, but so much fun.

I finally got to check The Loft out. Wasn't quite sure what I was expecting given that it's above…read morethe Palladium, which is quite large. The Loft is fairly small. Think I heard it holds about 400 people. There's a bar in the back, and a bar to the side of the stage, so it was pretty easy to get a drink at all times (important!). I can't really comment about the sound because the Buzzcocks played LOUD, but I enjoyed it, even when I went deaf. The opening band wasn't really my cup of tea, so we all went out to the patio. A huge patio at that. It was fun looking at the Dallas skyline and watching the hoochie mama's below going to the Pittpull concert. Hello silicone, but I digress. I didn't really mind paying $4.50 for weak cocktails, or $4 for Shiner, even when it was poured in a plastic cup. The bathroom attendant was so unnecessary, though. Is she always there? There are only two bathroom sinks, and we were at a punk show ferfucksake. Any who. I felt the venue was solid for what it does, and the fact that I was able to get so close to punk legends sealed the deal.

Rubbing Elbows One…read moreof the best reason to go see a live band is the ability to feel the music coming out of their mouths and instruments. That can only be accomplished by being up close and personal. The loft is so much more intimate than the Palladium below. The bartenders can get busy, especially between sets, but don't worry they'll get to you. Between sets take a breather on their awesome balcony. Take some pics with your friend/significant other with the Dallas skyline. With all these positive marks you would expect a 5 star review. Sadly, the band line up is pretty limited. My favorite recurring band are the Spazmatics. I wish they could take a cue from Granada's rotation. Still, if your favorite band comes, it's a no brainer! Band with a view
