Looks trendy, and the best thing about this restaurant was the ambiance. We ordered the cut of the day, which was cooked properly, but was both tough and gristly. I would expect more from a supposed aged steak at a decent restaurant. We found ourselves leaning heavily on the sauces.
The broccolini was over-salty, and the mashed potatoes could have used some of that salt.
The burger was supposedly Wagyu, but was tough with too coarse of a grind, lacking both juiciness and decent flavor, complete missing the mark on what makes a burger tick. The wine was decent. The service was subpar, with waitress disappearing for great lengths of time after unable to provide helpful advice on the meat options due to "being vegetarian."
Altogether with other great options in Queenstown, I would pass on this one. read more
