I am extremely happy with the job that Canyon did cleaning my 34" DCS grill. It almost looks brand new. He was quickly responsive by text message and provided a formal estimate (very fair) after I texted over a few photos of my grill. He was able to come the next day. Canyon is very organized with all of his equipment and cleaners in crates which he carries to the grill location. He needed access to an electrical outlet, but that's all I had to provide. The entire job took him 4 hours. After that, I had mentioned that the grill's battery igniter was not working, and he fixed it in less than 5 minutes for no extra charge. Bottom line - Canyon works his tail off, and his work is stellar. read more

Canyon was exceptional. Not only did he do an amazing job of cleaning both my Turbo BBQ and EVO grill, he also completed some necessary repairs on the BBQ and now has it running as if it were new! I told him to put me on his calendar to come service each one every Spring. read more

Canyon was so helpful and did a phenomenal job! He also knows a lot about grills and helped advise me on some ideas!

Canyon, the young owner and entrepreneur behind The Grill Guy, is absolutely FANTASTIC. Because he has tiered services depending on what type of job might be required, I humbly and somewhat helplessly sent him over a video of my grill and basically said, "Well, this is what it looks like, let me know what you think I need." It would have been VERY easy for him to load me up with unnecessary cleaning options (spoiler alert: I am not an expert in grill cleaning, hence finding The Grill Guy on Yelp), especially because he was commuting to Pasadena from (I believe) Santa Clarita, but he took a look at the video and said, "Nah man, you just need the most basic, simple, cheapest service that I offer." Big points for Canyon right there. Honest man. THEN, when it turned out that I needed to change our appointment because of a work conflict, he said, "Why don't you just send me a video of how to get into your back yard and I'll just do it. When you get home, check it, and I'll send you an invoice." HUGELY helpful. It made me think about how I've been burned SO many times by, "Can you be available from 10am-2pm?" and then the person shows up at 2:17 pm after I've already sacrificed four hours of my time. This could NOT have been easier. I wound up being home after all, but I didn't NEED to be there, nor did I need to block hours off out of my day, which is enormous. I highly recommend this guy; he's wonderful. read more

Canyon provided excellent service from beginning to the end. He took the time to give me a quote via text message based on the photos that I sent him of my Camp Chef 36 Wi-Fi grill. He offered a fair price showed up on time kept the workplace extremely clean, and my backyard, spotless provided excellent customer service and guided me through every step of the way of what he was doing. My grill is absolutely spotless, and I plan on having him come back many times in the future. The level of professionalism and kindness provided was above and beyond for the service I requested. Had my 40 inch built in grill for 11 years and have only cleaned it a hand full of times (except for brushing the grates after each bbq). Was looking at getting a new bbq but decided to do a detailed cleaning so I called the Grill Guy. Canyon called back that same day and asked for pictures of my grill and scheduled a time a few weeks out. He showed up when he said he was going to and looked at the grill and said there was a few areas he may not be able to get super clean, but will do his best. The grill again is 11 years old and definitely needed a deep cleaning so what ever he could do would be better than what was there. He spent 5 hours cleaning the inside and outside of the grill, cleaning the small holes of the burners that some of them have been clogged for so many years. What a transformation! After many hours of hard work the grill looked great and worked better than it had been in years. He found one of the burners to be rusted out and was willing to look up the part and order us one but did say not to use that one for now. He also did a fine job of cleaning up the area and even cleaned our sink near the bbq. He seasoned the grill with olive oil afterwards and said he would check back in 3 months to see about a follow up. Canyon is your grill guy and will refer him to friends and family. A+++++ read more

Canyon did an amazing job on our grossly greasy grill. He was on time, clean and courteous.

Highly recommend Canyon The Grill Guy. Had a 3 year old Weber that needed a lot of help, looked rusted. Canyon came by and in a few hours my grill looked new again. He also covered the floors and kept the job clean in the area. Pricing is very reasonable as well. Great value and service read more

The Grill Guy provides an excellent service at an affordable price. Canyon is very professional, prompt and my grill looks like brand new! From initial communication to completion of the service, Canyon kept me updated and informed. He turned an ignored grill into a beautiful, functioning centerpiece for summer hangouts and meals. He protected the area around the grill during the cleaning process. This was the best value I have ever spent on a BBQ. And just in time for summer gatherings and daily use! Will definitely be a regular customer of the Grill Guy! read more

Canyon was very communicative from the beginning. He was upfront with a quote and we both agreed on a date and time for him to arrive. He was prompt and took his time cleaning my grill. He was here for almost 5 hrs. I liked how organized he was and all the supplies he had. He even makes it a point to collect the dirty water and store it in a bucket, this way he avoids dumping it into your grass or elsewhere on your property. He is a very motivated young guy who attends college, works at in-n-out, and does this as well. With his work ethic, he has a bright future ahead of him for sure. I highly recommend hiring. read more

I shopped around for BBQ deep cleaning and The Grill Guy was the most professional, got back to me with a quote and a date to clean. Canyon is incredibly hard working and his prices are fair for the excellent quality of work. He worked on it for over 3.5 hours. Canyon cleans the whole grill, not just the grates. It's an inside out job. I will be calling him again to do maintenance cleaning on my BBQ unit. See photos. read more

I had a greasy, encrusted smoker that had not been cleaned since I bought it new 2015, and a newish Weber propane grill that wasn't heating up. Canyon gave me a very reasonable estimate through Yelp, we agreed on a time and he showed up ready to go. He explained everything that he would be doing and got to work. The smoker is no longer a greasy fire hazard, but also not doused in chemicals, and the Weber is working perfectly. Thank you Canyon, I can't sing your praises enough! read more

Canyon did a great job cleaning our grill. Me and my wife moved into a new house with a grill included and the previous owners did not take good care of it. The grill was in rough shape and needed a good deep clean and Canyon was able to bring it back to life. Also, all the other grill cleaners in the area were very expensive and Canyon was very reasonably priced.
