I can only speak on my experiences with the staff and the building itself. Negative: - LOCKOUTS: One frustrating experience I had was when I accidentally locked my apartment and car keys in my bedroom. To regain entry, I had to call their "locksmith" service. Despite being promised prompt assistance, it took them a staggering 1 1/2 hours to arrive. Not only was the delay really frustrating, but the $50.00 charge felt unjustified. Instead of a professional locksmith, a staff member arrived with a spare key, which took a mere 15 seconds to resolve. It was far from the professional service one would expect to pay $50.00 for. - COST & ROOM RIZE: While I appreciate the overall quality of the complex, the steep prices make it hard to ignore. Even after paying extra for a larger bedroom in a 4X4 plan, I still found the room size to be smaller than expected. - PARKING: The parking is an absolute joke, especially if you're handicapped... The misuse of handicapped parking spots by both residents and visitors is ridiculous. At one time, I was on crutches and I ended up sleeping in my car one night because I physically could not go from the parking garage to my apartment! - STAFF: My only negative experience with a staff member was with a resident who refused to help me when I was in a pickle. - NOISE: It was really loud when you have apartments above you... You can hear people walking around and slamming drawers. Positive: - AMENITIES: Despite the negatives, there are numerous aspects of this complex that I genuinely love. The convenient access to amenities such as the pool, BBQ areas, weight room, campus, market store, and proximity to Orem and Provo make living here enjoyable. - STAFF: When faced with an unexpected foot surgery that required me to leave the apartment, the management team, especially Serenity, went above and beyond. Their communication and professionalism throughout the process were commendable. Despite my physical limitations, they were willing to accommodate my needs and explore options to help me stay in the complex, which I was unable to use, but I deeply appreciated. - OVERALL NOISE: Contrary to some opinions, I never encountered significant noise disturbances in my building. Despite rumors about certain buildings being "party" hubs, I found my experience in Building #5 to be peaceful and enjoyable. While I acknowledge that others may have had different experiences, I can only speak to my own. Overall, despite the challenges, I have found my time here to be mostly positive and satisfying. read more

I lived at The Green for five months, and at first everything seemed nice, but my experience quickly went downhill. One of my biggest concerns was the lack of privacy. Staff members entered my room without notifying me beforehand in any way. When I emailed management about this issue, they apologized and assured me it would not happen again, but it obviously continued. There were also multiple occasions where random teenagers would bang on my door for no apparent reason. When I moved in, my previous roommate had left the apartment in horrible condition. I had to spend an entire day deep cleaning the unit myself, and the staff did not offer any assistance or cleaning services to address the mess. The noise level is another major issue. It was a every night thing to be woken up at 2 am by motorcycles and sports cars revving their engines in the parking lots. Quiet hours do not seem to be enforced. I also never felt comfortable or safe living here. There is very little privacy, and it was stressful feeling like I could not even get dressed without suddenly hearing the front door unlock and a male staff member entering the apartment (which DID happen). Security is also a serious concern. The front door to my apartment building was frequently propped open, allowing anyone to enter, and even the latch to the door broke so you could just pull it open without your key and this never was fixed. One night after coming home from work, a group of intoxicated male teenagers who clearly did not live there asked me for my key so they could access the building and pool area. Overall, my experience at The Green was disappointing. The lack of privacy, excessive noise, and ongoing safety concerns made it an uncomfortable place to live. Have been living here for almost a year and you don't get what you pay for. People that work here enter our apartment all the time without letting us know. I will wake up and someone random will be yelling saying they asked to come in and no one answered so they came in anyway. Our packages have gotten lost multiple times I started ordering them to my friends parents house. Our room is always super clean and they recently tried to claim we failed the cleaning check. I'm so uncomfortable someone is going to come into my room at all times unsolicited. They also mix up our room with our roommates so when her room has an issue, they fix ours that isn't broken MULTIPLE times. Parking situation is awful, just don't live here. read more

Before you sign a lease here, exercise extreme caution. In preparation for a planned cleaning inspection, we thoroughly cleaned our apartment. In less than a minute, an inspector arrived, said there was a problem that didn't exist, and failed our cleaning check, costing us money. This has now happened twice. When we first questioned the inspection, we were informed that someone would be back to review the unit. There were several attempts to follow up, but nobody ever returned. Now it's occurring once more: a quick examination, an imaginary problem, and an additional charge. In addition to the high cost of this complex, the regulations are quite strict and irregularly enforced. It seems more like a means of getting more money from tenants than a real inspection procedure. I strongly advise exploring elsewhere before agreeing to a lease here if you value management's accountability, openness, and fair treatment. read more

I've had three kids stay here now and the biggest issue is all the dog feces left by irresponsible dog owners. It is every where and it always seems like the dog owners have their dogs do their business right by the entrances into the buildings so that people will inadvertently step in it, and then track it all over the buildings. You would think management would crack down on these pet owners but they don't because they don't care. I had to make a huge deal about the feces issues on the south side of building number two last year and they finally were forced to install an anti-dog poop sign by UVU because the issue was so bad. However this has not fixed the problem. Now the owners are having their dogs poop up by the office. Also the management says their maintenance is not responsible to clean up the messes if they are left so it never actually gets cleaned up and the place stinks to high heaven as well as being generally unsanitary, and making parasites (worms) a real risk for the students. Unless they get new management who reins in these ESA dog owners I would highly discourage anyone from renting here. Just my honest take after almost three years. read more

Staff never picks up calls in case of maintenance, place was never clean when moved in, daughter moved out in June and it's August 21, 2025 and we still haven't received our deposit and no one is answering the calls at front desk. New students have moved in and school started today. Like it literally don't take a month and a half to cut a check. Management and owners are terrible here. (Manager's name) is new & didn't know what she was talking about when she said your daughter could move in.") it is an absolute nightmare that we are still trying to resolve. The only part of the Green on Campus Drive that is good is the short walk to the campus. The staff is unresponsive, unknowledgable and provides bad advise then issues fines to the residents for minor things they determine violate its numerous stringent rules and restrictions. They clearly put themselves above the residents to control them like they are the Stern Parent over their children. They are quick to find any and all violations at will and will not take any input from the residents or complaints when they are clearly out of line themselves but either lack the knowledge to help a resident or won't help. I would never recommend this complex to anyone looking for an apartment. I am a landlord and I know how to run rentals, and this is not acceptable behavior. read more

I got EVICTED with THREE DAYS NOTICE, OVER ONE EMPTY BEER CAN left by a guest, without my knowledge in the apartment. When I asked the downstairs staff they said they're supposed to give you 3 warnings before eviction, then when i emailed the apartments manager, they REFUSED to hear me out for the situation or even extend my notice to vacate by a day or two so i didn't have to sleep on the streets in 90 degree weather!! The amenities and facilities were terrible poorly maintained and always dirty. I was a resident here for about two years. Lots of noise after a while of complaints about noise, issues past curfew hours the facility procedure to begin, ignoring despite large parties, yelling, banging, and all sorts of noises being done in the same building. Parking garage is pretty much perpetually, dirty and covered in salt from a car fire that happened that they never cleaned up or took care of. None of the security cameras work. I had a bike that was stolen from inside the building and they said that they couldn't provide any kind of video evidence to find it because it wasn't functioning. They will tell your car for anything. The registration process that they use in order to be able to have visitors come over is impossible to navigate and occasionally their system goes down and cars randomly get towed, even if their residence that are registered. When you move into the room, make sure to take photos of everything and anything that looks damaged off dirty anything at all. You have to report it to the very beginning or they will charge you for it at the very end of your stay. I reported as many things as possible, and they still charge me for certain damages that I had already taken photos and proven that I was not the cause of. read more

My daughter moved into an apartment when The Greens was brand new. Within the year, the hallways of the buildings were absolutely trashed by students stealing the exit signs off the ceiling, the carpets in the hallways weren't cared for and there was no enforcement of any rules. One of my daughters had an apartment overlooking the volleyball courts, and despite a "curfew" there was partying and noise at all hours. She worked an early morning shift, and after complaining to the front office with no resolution she started calling the police to enforce the noise ordinance. When her lease was up in that apartment she tried moving to a different building for a quieter environment. My husband helped her move, and when they walked into the new apartment the previous renter was still there and a girl was asleep on the couch. They "hightailed" it out, but then my husband opened the hall closet to find bongs, enough liquor bottles to open a retail store and nothing had been cleaned. Nothing was done by The Greens to make that situation right. When my daughter finally moved out entirely, I came and helped clean the apartment per the "move out instructions". The place was so clean you could have licked the floor! Despite that, they kept $50 of our deposit. It doesn't seem like much, but I didn't work 3+ hours cleaning to have them keep a single dime! When we asked why, they showed pictures saying we didn't pull the stove out and sweep the food behind it and the same with the refrigerator. First, it wasn't on the move out instructions and second, I'm not moving appliances and risking breaking the connections. They also claimed I should have gotten special cleaning supplies to combat the hard water stains. Basically they are expecting the resident moving out to return the apartment to the status before anyone ever lived there. It is unrealistic and they are collecting a lot of money knowing these students (and parents) won't move appliances. I can't recommend this place at all. read more

You should NEVER be brought to the point of having to threaten filing a POLICE REPORT against a complex. I lived here for three years with no problems UNTIL I just recently moved out of the apartment my sister and I shared. After I moved out a few months ago, the Office agreed to unlock my bedroom door so my sister could use it to hold some of her stuff while she packed up to also move out (we had a 2x2 private so there were no other roommates). A few weeks later the Office came in and LOCKED the door with her stuff inside, which is no biggie right? Maybe it was just a miscommunication or they changed their mind. It would've been nice to atleast have notice. But then it took days and multiple conversations before they would agree to unlock it so she could grab her stuff. However, they still wouldn't come up to unlock it despite their verbal agreement to, always claiming that they were too busy. They then came into the apartment without any communication and took the boxes to hide them in the Office. My sister was confused why they hadn't come to let her get the boxes from the room especially because she needed to move out soon (contract was ending). When she asked the Office about it they told her that they didn't know where they were and that they were too busy to look for them. Stealing a tenant's belongings and lying about them after they were locked up needlessly in the first place is wild. Other than that, my experience at The Green was dealing with the usual college partying environment and a difficulty in dealing with the Office. BUT do beware part of the contract is that the Office can enter your apartment at ANY time without need for notice. This has happened while I was showering and a lady opened my door because she was "testing locks". I read the weekly email announcements and there was nothing giving a heads up so safe to say I was embarrassed and felt intruded on. zero stars. I was going to wait until my lease ended but I can't wait anymore. genuinely have had the worst experience living here. The staff is extremely rude and couldn't care less about you. The cleaning checks are impossible to pass (there's a paint stain that fails us every time even though we have proven to them it doesn't come out and it was here before we even moved in. They said we just have to figure out a way to get it out.) They incentivize the tenets to write good reviews by saying they'll give you free food or something because they know they can't get them legitimately. The biggest complaint I have though is I got an eviction notice because I have PRESCRIPTION medication. I can't emphasize enough that I got a notice because of my PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION which I quite literally need to live. I had a long email chain with the manager here proving that it's prescription, but she told me it's a "bad look" to have it out on my counter like I did. I'm sorry but that is absolutely ridiculous. They truly don't care about anything but money here. DO NOT LIVE HERE. If you need medicine don't do it here because you'll get a fine for having a prescription. read more

Our daughter has lived here almost 3 years. We are counting down the days until she is released from her current lease. The close proximity to school is amazing. But their concern for these students is nothing more than filling a room with a body that they then proceed to suck every possible dime out of. They will put roommates together with ESA's who have stated they are deathly allergic to animals with no warning until youre headed to the ER. They required my daughter to move to a completely different building last summer so they could use the building she was in for their freshmen experience and then upped rent another $50 a month from the previous year that had already been upped $75 a month from her first year. But the kicker was after the holidays this year. She knew two of her roommates had moved out during the holidays but hadn't been notified of new roommates moving in. That is until Friday afternoon at 3:30 pm the front office help shows up with two international MALE students and said "your apartment is now coed. If you have a problem with it, go to the office." No warning! No notice! We live 250 miles away! An emergency move occurred after me and my husband made a phone call. We were told we were threatening. How is it not threatening to our daughter who just wanted to feel safe in her apartment? Besides the fact a roommate had been assaulted just months before. Bottom line is Redstone Management is there to make a buck at any price. read more

Zero stars - I just got my car towed. I have lived at the Green on Campus Drive for 1 1/2 years and they erroneously towed my car. $300 tow bill and the management at the Green won't budge. Management told me it's up to the discretion of the parking lot police and they have no control over it. Really, no control over your subcontracted people?? This is such a scam, and I am not the first person this has happened to. Everyone needs to take action instead of just paying their tow bill. I highly recommend not living here and if you do, expect a lot of frustrations and unreliable staff that can't get anything done for you. I moved in and didn't have chairs or dressers for 2 months!!! DO NOT LIVE HERE! this place was the worst ever, the only pro is that it's close to campus! here's a list of things wrong with the green: - fire alarms going off a lot, sometime in the middle of the night for long periods of time where the entire building would have to evacuate - it is sooo loud, especially in the warmer months with people always blasting music on speakers at the pool way too late - the hot tubs always packed to the brim because everyone sneaks in - the walls are paper thin, you can hear EVERYTHING - they don't even try to pair you with similar roommates! mine are terrible & should have been evicted for several things - there are emotional support animals everywhere! if you don't want to live with one you need to specify that, or else you might end up with an "emotional support" pet - the buildings often smell weird and bad - people drive crazy in the parking garages, i've had 2 hit & runs this year - the people who lived above me were super loud, i've called & they did absolutely nothing about it - the management is terrible & they have absolutely no idea what they're doing - the cleaning checks were a joke, they were constantly changing what days they were coming and people would fail for minor things overall DO NOT live here! it is terrible & WAY too overpriced for what you're getting! read more

I've lived here for 3 months now and have yet to have a decent night of sleep. You can hear every single thing that is happening outside. They started closing amenities earlier because of the constant noise complaints made to the Orem Police, but that did nothing. So they added 3 RA's that are almost impossible to contact. That also did nothing. Then they added a security guard at nights, which also helped absolutely nothing. Turns out no matter what you do, nothing will change the fact that you built crappy apartments with paper thin walls. They also have no problem changing up policies on you with almost no heads up. This place is a mess and I debate on selling my lease every single night I'm here. Also, they only have so many 5 star reviews on google because they bribe students with prizes if they leave a good review. read more

The worst place I have ever dealt with. My daughter applied but needed a guarantor because of her age. We were her guarantors and they approved us. After approval we hoped on signed the lease and paid the$400 deposit. After paying the deposit they called and said my daughter was too old. I was like you mean her guarantor was too old. They realized she would be under 18 when moved in and she said that she would be too young. I stated that she shouldn't have got an approval so return my money. After several months of hounding them they sent me a $250 check back. I called to say it was there fault and I needed the full amount. They stated 100% it was there fault and should have not approved her, but they would not return the difference because it was an admin fee. It was 100% there fault for approving her and refuse to pay the difference. They said they don't make exceptions for returning money even if it is their error. I wonder how other many poor college students they are stealing money from. read more

This place is way expensive for what you get, the clubhouse and stuff is only open when the office is which is 8-5 usually and not open weekends. lots of people from off the property use the pool so it's a pretty social and fun spot, there's no drinking or smoking allowed but everyone does so as long as they don't see you doing something then you're good. they do cleaning checks frequently and will knock you for anything they can find so expect to pay the cleaning fee every 3 months or so, but they never actually come clean. they only come in your room to check the cleaning there's not a lot of random stop-in checks which is nice. The parking sucks because Utah parking company enforces the parking garage and stuff around whereas the green doesn't hold any responsibility for your cars and such so when my car got hit there wasn't anything I could do about it. they also enforce and its $80 bucks to get the boot off which sucks. however, the UVU parking lot is right next to the parking garage so if you have a UVU permit just park there and don't stress about trying to figure out your car. UVU also only patrols during the day so overnight guests can park and not worry. as far for the stuff in the apartment its super cheap. our fridge broke twice, and the washer and dryer didn't really work right, the walls are super thin so anything in rooms or different apartments around you can hear. it's also ESA friendly so if you have a dog just sign it up as an ESA and you can bring it but just be warned there's a lot of people with dogs and the little outdoor areas by the pickleball courts and stuff always smell. The AC and Heater worked great and didn't really have any problems but there's not great hot water for dishes and showers and stuff, the dishwasher works well just hot water is rough. read more

My main problem is the advertisement of 24 hour amenities then the sudden closure at 11pm. I signed up and paid for this apartment with the promise of being able to use everything at any time. I chose this place because I work multiple jobs and am often not home until 11-12 at night and would have loved to relax in the spa or go shoot pool at the end of the day but they decided to lock all of that up as soon as I'm able to use it. We are paying for 24 hour use so they need to either open them up or reduce my rent because I'm locked out of most amenities. read more

The green is a fun place to live if you like to party. But don't expect to always sleep that well since the walls are seriously to thin, and people get very loud around here at night. THE MANAGEMENT HERE IS ATROCIOUS. All my friends that live at the green and I can agree, that the office workers here are extremely lazy and not very bright! They honestly aren't helpful at all and seem to cause more problems than they solve. Many of my friends and I have been lied to on multiple occasions by the management here. Former tenant here, the green is the worst place you could possibly choose to live for UVU housing. Pros: it's close to campus. Cons: EVERYTHING!! Flooding in the apartments when it rains, sinks that don't drain, maintainence that forgets to turn the water back on, codoms in the pool, no enforcement or quiet hours, and more! Try and call the front desk? lol no one has answered that phone or their full mailbox in months. I love to a different state and they refuse to be contacted in regards to my security deposit or any of my packages that they refuse to forward to me. The Green is the most unprofessional apartment complex/business I have ever dealt with. They illegally sold me and my roommates lease without our approval. No written notice that our lease had been sold and we never signed a single paper to terminate our contract. Both of which are stated in the lease agreement as requirements in order to end the contract early. Then the manager claimed that they don't need a signature to terminate the lease and that the move out reminders that were sent out to everyone regardless of if you were actually moving or not was our written notice. The manger is a complete joke and does not know how to run a business. I would definitely go someplace else if you're looking to rent. I could go on and on about the issues I've had with this complex. read more

The leasing office is a NIGHTMARE to deal with. My experience trying to sell my contract has been horrible and expensive. Posted an AD for my room in mid November, next day showed up with the buyer to the leasing office, did the required paperwork, handed over the keys, and was now waiting for the digital buyer and seller agreements in our email. Said they'd send them by the end of the day. Never got them, no big deal. Tried calling the next day to remind them, could never get an answer. Tried the next day, once I finally got someone to answer the phone after trying at numerous different times throughout the day, they said they'd be sure to send those documents. Never got them. Went through this same routine FOUR TIMES and each time had to explain my situation to someone new and was still left waiting for the documents to be sent over. Finally, weeks later (now over a week into December), after 16 phone calls, they finally sent the documents to us. Got them signed minutes after getting them. They then explained that I owe them rent for the beginning half of December even though they admit it's their fault this process wasn't completed the day it began (mid November). Even after talking to managers they kept saying "for legal reasons" I have to pay even though it's their mistake. Other than being a pain to work with, it's a nice place to live. read more
