After a long day I stopped by the liquor store and to my surprise there was a food truck right outside. I ordered the lamb gyro and Greek fries. The hefty gyro was delicious and was made with fries in it, I forgot to take a picture I was too busy eatin. The Greek fries were very good and the feta cheese I could eat itself. I have enough to make this last two meals. I was served quickly and you could see they work hard in there, especially with the Florida heat. Show em some love, I will be back to try more! read more

If we get gyros by Tarpon Springs, we always go to The Limani at the Sponge Docks. Problem is they only accept cash. This time, we decided to try the Greeks. The directions took us to La Fondito de Leo where they have a truck parked there, but next door at Liquor Lounge is where they are actually located. Their food truck is in the parking lot, they have shade and four tables with chairs. Nice set up. We ordered a chicken and pork gyro. Each come with fries inside the pita(which I haven't had it like that). They are $12 and come out fast. Very good and I was full before it was finished. Definitely a good spot next time. They also have dinner platters, souvlaki, Greek salad, hummus, baklava. I never knew about this place til now and it did not disappoint. Service was quick and straight forward. read more

Cruising down highway 19 in tarpon springs we find this Gem!! So I love Greek food. To my surprise the customers there so spoke Greek as did the chef. So I knew it was going to be good. good was an understatement!! Amazing!!! Flavors that rocked my socks! Wow the lamb Gyro was fantastic the homemade tzatziki so tasty. The pork souvlaki on a stick holly molly what amazing flavor!!! The chef gave me a sample of the pork Gyro which I never had to this day and Omg in had been missing out! The Greek fries were yummy and the feta cheese was so rich and flavorful. It's a nice spot to stop and have a great bite to eat. Good vibes all around. The best part about this was the tzatziki. Chicken in the pita was dry. Falafel not bad. Pita itself okay. French fries were fully not cooked, soggy and partially raw or still frozen. I'm hey just came frozen in bags and we're not salted after fried no flavor. read more

Was recommended to try this place by a friend. Just walking up the trailer I felt like I was bothering the guy while chatting with his friends out front. I asked for tzatziki sauce with the Greek fries. He recommended the pork on a stick so I got that and a salad for my wife. The fries were barely thawed and he pork was raw. Last stop for us. Multiple dishes and one was better than the next. Last night was exactly opposite. Everything was over the top greased up. Not impressed. $10 for a Greek salad and mostly all lettuce, disappointed no potato salad ..... I know "real Greek salads don't come with potato salad" Got terziki sauce but no pita bread.... just wasn't thrilled. Glad Pappas opened in Trinity will go there next time for a real salad. read more

Visiting Tarpon Springs from NYC & we were told about The Greeks food truck. We agreed to try it & the family was very IMPRESSED!! Astoria/NYC Is known to have authentic Greek gyros, but we have to admit this gyro surpassed NYC & very possibly has met the expectations of a gyro you'll eat in Greece. The gyro is seasoned & cooked perfectly with a balance of fries, meat, tzatziki & tomato on a toasted pita. Try a souvlaki as well. The food here doesn't disappoint. Super good! Took my daughter here today. We both had chicken pita's and shared an order of Greek fries. Definitely 10 out of 10! Fresh, tasty, just the right amount of fries on the sandwiches, as well as generous amounts of tzatziki. The pita's were warm and lightly crispy on the edges...and nicely wrapped so no worries of all the goodness falling out! Greek fries had plenty of Feta crumbles and spices and were just so yummy! I was excited to try this place because it's close to one of the houses I work at and open late, and I love Greek food... I ordered a few things for myself and was not happy at all with any of it, other than the delivery was fast and friendly and wore their mask which I appreciated. The chicken kabob gyro was the thing I was the most excited about, but I couldn't enjoy it; the amount of sauce pouring out of the pita was gross and overwhelming (plus not my favorite version of the sauce), overpowered the flavor of the chicken and made a mess, while the fries in it were abundant they were cold and completely unseasoned. I also got the Beefteki on a stick and some pita bread and sauce on the side to make my own little beef sandwich... but instead of kabob beef on a stick like menu said, I got a blob of ground beef patty that was burnt and I couldn't even try it. Overall I tried to enjoy what I could of the food, even trying to pick apart the gyro/sand which to eat the meat but I ended up throwing most of it away and working my shift on an empty stomach.
