The guy at the gate was patient as I fumbled with my phone to show him our tickets, the concession staff were nice every time we went back for more $1 hot dogs, and an usher invited us to move closer to home plate because there were a lot of empty seats because of bad weather, which we of course accepted. 4 different staff members thanked us for coming to the game as we left, and wished us a safe trip home. What a great experience! Thank you everbody for making us feel so welcome to the game! Erik W.

Featured events throughout the season include dime-a-dog nights (picture people eating 10 cent hotdogs!), several typical daytime "Businessman Special" games, and various other special events. The park has been known to have fireworks. One of my absolute favorite features of this ballpark, is along the second baseline. That part of the field has "windows" in the brick wall at the street level, whereby individuals who want to see the game, but for whatever reason don't have a ticket can watch the whole thing unfold from the sidewalk. For individuals who can't acquire tickets for themselves or their children this is a wonderful feature, whereby they can still enjoy a professional baseball game. Hats off to the Clippers organization for incorporating this thoughtful design into their facility. Ample parking is close by. And usually this parking fairly reasonably priced. Be aware that the hockey arena and the soccer stadium are both close by, as well as other entertainment venues. In the height of summer, this can sometimes make for a very busy entertainment district. So be sure and check the schedule of what's going on at the other venues, You may need some extra time to arrive and navigate your way to the ballpark. We were also close enough to the field to see how nice the players were to the folks who had lined up for autographs before play started. While it was ultimately a loss for the Clippers, it was great to see several homeruns hit out of the park by our team, keeping it exciting. We look forward to catching another game sometime.

It is an homage to Skankland, Columbus' first reggae bar, and a nod to Roots Records, Columbus' first and only reggae focused record shop. Both of these businesses are gone now, which is what makes this bar so very cool. The atmosphere is joyous and just very special. The drinks are all very good, and they have a really good Jamaican menu featuring jerked chicken, ox tail and vegetarian pies. All delicious. There is a $5 admission fee if you are not a Columbus Museum of Art member, but I renewed our membership because this place made it so worth it. You might be able to get a free pass through the Columbus Metropolitan Library too, but I seriously recommend getting a CMA annual membership to support great art like this.

Forever (ink on paper), and a video focusing on the color green. The setup of the displays made the rooms feel bare, but it was good for a quick walkthrough. I was actually more captivated by the lovely sculptures outside, surrounding the building. There were about 4 or 5 that I was able to check out while I was there (Jim Hodges' artwork is particularly unique and impressive).
