Staff are friendly and beer selection is great too with several vendors set up around the park. They also have two distinct mascots Krash the Parrot and Lou Seal and a hot dog race midgame.

A star was earned right off the bat (no pun intended) with free Chase DeLauter bobbleheads. Always nice to get something for free! We visited over the Labor Day weekend when temps really jumped up, but this ballpark offered nice ways to duck the sun like a roomy concourse, park benches with umbrellas and a leftfield restaurant filled with very interesting historical baseball memorabilia that we really enjoyed. The park is completely accessible to all patrons and the couple of people working there that we spoke with were extremely informative and friendly. The gentleman on the leftfield concourse tipped us to a couple of things that we would have otherwise missed. The game and seating were great. We sat down the leftfield line, and I'd recommend this area given the views and skyline. About the only thing that was amiss, and this is no fault of the park, was it cost $35 to park a couple blocks away. The reason for that was a soccer game was also going on at the same time. So that changes the rate from about $7 to $35. If that's the case, you'll want to try and park further away and walk a bit. Cheers!

Heads up: New location and new name!…read more Previously known throughout Columbus as Glass Axis, now the Columbus Glass Art Center, is a non-profit org offering glass blowing and glass art classes to the general public, no membership needed! I went to their Grand Opening of their new building and the space, and it's fantastic! Ample space for several different glass art technique classes. The teachers I met are absolutely wonderful, too! Willing to help/guide if necessary, creative minds, and just plain genuine and personable. I got the chance to make a glass mosaic (think glass art to hand in a window) and a simple smoking pipe (torch melting glass and all!), and it was phenomenal! I'm seriously looking into taking a few classes; and, besides, I know my money is going to an excellent org that's promoting art, culture, and creative partnerships throughout central Ohio!

We waited & waited, tried calling & emailing but to no avail. This was planned as a double bday celebration, we took time off work and came from out of town, needless to say it was ruined. They did refund our money, it's been 5 days but still not one person has reached out to offer an apology or explanation. Not a good way to run a business. We give it 4 thumbs down. :(
